Well hopefully that got your attention.

You see below this blurb a quoted PM from my friend. The icon really says it all, but in case you won't read it: The icon is a link to a petition, which demands the removal of any and all "Free GC" offers. Please, even if you don't really care, post two words: "I sign". And if you are FOR the GC offers, DON'T POST AT ALL in the petition, but feel free to flame me in here.

I honestly didn't care at first, but then I read about everybody and the viruses and problems. And what really scares me is that the last place that had these was a MySpace app. Is -everybody- making people pay money for pretty pixels? And yes, I mean pixels.

I pay money for pixels, I have to admit! But I want to do it on my terms. I don't like being tricked into things, and I don't like being manipulated. And I REALLY don't like being taken advantage of, which is what I fear is starting to happen here.
