Welcome To Hogwarts
So you've decided to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft And Wizardy, but you've found yourself a little lost in our giant castle. No need to worry we have all the info and tips you need to get started, and a few extra things to getting to the top of our favorites list. Remember of course to keep our guild clean, we do not want to ban you, and of course we do not want to close the school down for cleaning. And don't forget to review these tips every so often so don't lose yourself again.

FAQ
Here are a few helpful FAQ to get you through our wonderful little guild. If your question is not answered please PM any of our teachers for help.
Im new and I don't know were to start.
Well you came to the right place because we expect our students to take a quick look at all of the posts in this thread. After that head over to The Sorting Hat to join the house your meant to be in.
What if I don't want to be a student
Of course we know that there will be that one person in the crowd that wants to be a house elf, or a ghost, etc..... If you wish to be another creature in our world then please have all the information on what your creature does and were they are most likely to be found. After you know all you can send a Pm to Professor Slyth And prove to him that you can pull it off.
What are the places were I can post a new thread
There are several places were it is ok to post a new threads. Some need permission though so be careful or you could get a strike towards your name, which may help us when your up for expulsion. But let hope that doesn't happing.
1- Hogwarts Express - All are welcome to post as much as they wish in this sub-forum, but it is mainly for new students.
2- Loony Lovegoods Dorm - This is a place were you can post all you art work and banners for the guild, as long as they are based on this world then they won't get deleted.
3- Azkaban Prison - This is only for people who have something to complain about with there deleted accounts, posts, or threads.
4- Home Forum - You need to get permission from one of our teachers before posting a new thread here. If you do not get permission the thread will be sent to Azkaban.
How do i figure out what house i'm in
After finishing the test in The Sorting Hat you must check back every so often to see if your test has been checked on, if it has been checked then the teacher that did it will edit it and tell you what house your in.
What do I do well I wait
You are free to walk any part of the school except the common rooms, or the classes. Please stay free of both of those places or you might be put up for expulsion. Also check out some of our places for the new students like The Introduce Yourself Forum or the Hogwarts Express

Tips And Hints
Were teachers what good are we if we can't teach you some helpful Tips And Hints on how to survive in this school.
1- Try and post in the same thread and keep yourself from moving around, It might make you unpopular in the eyes of the other students and you could make yourself very frustrated not having people to talk to.
2- Having house points taking away from you is a very normal thing, I really doubt that there will be a year were houses will never get points taking from them. So please don't get angry with us its just the way we keep control.
3- Do not post random things like your the grandson of harry potter, or its your job to kill Voldemort when he returns. That is for our staff to decide, if we wish you to go on a quest we will pm you before hand.
4- You must prove yourself worthy to be a good student, you can't just say in the roleplay that you are a good one because that won't fool us.
5- Made up spells will be ignored by teachers and will result in loss of house points if complained about. If your made up spell becomes popular with the other students then we will consider it a real spell.
6- All problems should go threw the teachers inside a pm (sent by owl of course) if you show the whole school your rage then you will be punished to the maximum limit.
7- If you wish to do something when you leave Hogwarts then please show a interest in it well your in school (You want to open a shop then sell goodies in your common room) once we have students graduating we will choose there jobs for them in Proffesor Slyths Office.
8- Asking for help from Students, Creatures, or Teachers is always the first option we suggest. Almost always someone can help you!!!

Sub-Forums And What Good There For
Hogwarts- This is the main spot to do all your role playing needs. If you like role playing and love harry potter then i figure you'll spend all your time here. This is mostly the heart and soul of our guild.
Classes- This is a place to not only role play but also actually learn spells, charms, potions, and much more. If you can not keep up with you classes you will be kicked from them so remember that.
Hogwarts Express- Your on your way to school or your on your way home or you may just need a place to sit and think. The Hogwarts Express will always be a safe place to talk to your fellow students without the fear of teachers breathing down your neck.
Quidditch Pitch- Need to play some games and getting tired of dueling, we try and come up with unique ways to play some Hogwarts favorites.
Great Hall- Always check out this wonderful little place to see all the new events that will be happening. Remember that its ok to hold events of your own but its not ok to open your own thread for events your holding.
The Hall Of Prophecy- The teachers always are working on different projects and new ideas so we will test them out here or save our progress until a new day.
Loony Lovegoods Dorm- Do you love to show off your lovely pictures of anything involving the magical world. Just post them here and people can Oooh and Aaah at them all day long, don't forget we always take banner ideas in consideration.
Daily Prophet- This is were we will leave all the old Daily Forums for your use, just in case you missed something or need help with a teachers project.
Azkaban Prison- If you seem to have a pm from a teacher about something banned then please make sure to come here and look for your name then read what you did wrong and correct it.
Proffesor Slyths Office- I may never be around because I am so busy but you are free to look for me here at any time. If I am not here then please read all my lovely notes i love to leave to check on some of the things going on in school.
