Hey all, I've got a question about the sunrise/sunset dragons. I've got a sunrise already and i'm trying to get a sunset. Do you guys know if the time of day in which they hatch determines if it's rise or set, or is it just random? If it does depend on the day, can you guys give me any advice as to how i can ensure that it'll be a sunset? Thanks a bunch!

Yes, it depends on what time of day the egg hatches. DC is on eastern time so:
If the egg hatches between 6 PM - 6 AM EST, it will be a sunset.
If it hatches between 6 AM - 6 PM EST, it will be a sunrise.
If your egg is close to hatching but at the wrong time just keep it fogged so that it'll delay hatching until the right time.

I have been hiding it for a while now and it was just about to hatch. I took it out of hiding just now and it hatched! It's a sunset! Yay! Thanks ^^

Well actualy I don't think they do have a set time for hatching into sunset/sunrise. I got two eggs, the orange/blue eggs at the same time, about 3 minutes apart, and I posted them all in the same posts on here, they both hatched today about 30 minutes apart from eachother, and I have a sunset and sunrise.

Maybe sunset's are harder to obtain then sunrise's?
Not that, that would bother me or anything....I love Sunrise dragon's more anyways....

I've gotten more Sunset than Sunrise, actually. I guess it depends on when you get them, when they want to hatch, and the time of day?

between midnight and noon - that is morning hours between noon and midnight - that is afternoon/evening hours
therefore - sunset dragon - between noon and midnight sunrise - midnight and noon
all of these times are eastern daylight savings time USA
