He stretched himself out after waking up from a nap. IT was a bit odd to find himself looking at the leaves and bits of sky he could see and figured he'd ended up on his back .. somehow. He wasn't quite sure how but anything could happen while asleep.
Rolling over he oofed slightly and stretched again. "Mm.... good nap"

He was still getting used to things in this part of the jungle; being away from his mother and the other females that he'd been raised alongside. Then again, it was also nice, in a way. Here he didn't have to worry as much. Here he could just be Kipaku instead of the brother or that boy.
Pushing himself up onto his paws he stretched. It had cooled down a little bit, at least, and now maybe he could do some wandering; figure out just what there was and who there was that he had yet to meet before.

Yawning he stood up and shook himself out. It was odd to have more of his mane comming in but he was glad that he was finally growing up. Maybe now he could actually be of some use to the pride instead of just 'another boy'.
He was looking forward to it in a way. Being a dad and getting to do what males were suppose to do. Smiling to himself he padded away from his nap spot and almost tumbling over a younger male.
"... oops." He grinned as he fell onto his side.

He let out a squeak as he found himself almost trampled, curling up into a bright, purple ball with a green tuft sticking out as if somehow that would save him. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. Please don't tromp on me. I'll go back to wherever it was I'm supposed to be that's not here."

"I'd think you're suppose to be here?" He tipped his head slightly to the side as he looked at what he'd tripped over. HE really needed to stop thinking while he was walking. He wasn't any good at it.
"I should be the one who's sorry. Not suppose to step on youngsters."

His tail twitched as he peered up, golden eyes gleaming in the direction of the elder male. His head tilted after a moment as he shifted to straighten himself out, shaking off. "No. Only bad parents step on youngsters. Are you a bad parent?"

"No. I'm not a parent." He shook his head. "Just absentminded." He grinned slightly. He tried to keep away from the others when he was thinking since he was adept to trip over something or run into someone. Silly mind.

"Well, you're going to be one some day... Aren't you?" His brow lofted slightly, tail ticking behind him as he continued to gaze at the elder male, trying to figure out just how old he was. "Means you should learn to not step on youngsters."

"I would hope so." he laughed softly. "It's what we do after all. Besides sit here and make friends." He reached over and ruffled the others tuft of a mane. "I didn't really mean to trip on you ... i have a bad habit of getting lost in thought and forgetting where i'm going. Bad habit."

"Isn't it hard to forget where you're going when we're only allowed to go so far?" His brow lofted a bit higher. "Unless you're allowed to go somewhere other than where I am, since you're bigger and all." There was a bit of excitement in his voice at the thought of that sort of prospect.

"Well i am allowed to go further into the jungle than you." Which was how he'd found his favorite napping spot, and and with help from an elder male. "My feet know where to go they just dont expect things to be in the way." He smiled.
"you'd be amazed where you can go when your mind isn't with you"

"That... Sounds really weird, you know." He flopped back onto his backside. "Why would I want to go somewhere if my mind wasn't with me? Isn't that like sleeping, in a way... Or dreaming, maybe? You don't have to go anywhere to dream, you know. What were you thinking about?"

"Yea, i know it's weird." He laughed softly as he sat down carefully. "But i've always done it, ever since i was a cub .. so i'm used to it. I was thinking about being a dad and getting to do what i can do to make sure in my next life i have proven myself honorable and i can move up and hopefully be reborn as a female"

"I... I don't think I want to think about that sort of thing. Not about being honorable, I mean, because I want to be that... But the next life. Not yet, at least. When I'm bigger, and even now, I think I want to just do the best I can to be who I am now. Do you think that counts? Or do I have to think about the next life all the time?"

"No, i just think a lot so i think about lots of things." He nodded. "You should just try to do the best you can and hopefully that will bring you the honor you need."
He knew that it was expected that he would give females bright children though and he was looking forward to it still. Even more so if his children were curious like this one
