i have to say my favorite style is fantasy...but ill really rp anything except realistic. omg does that kinda...welll to be blunt and honest it pisses me off. i dont like it. but im a sucker for a dark romance or even a brooding deep dark role play

Ugh...this is a hard one. I think it's just nice to be in a roleplay, especially when it is with talented people. What could be more interesting than throwing together a random group of people in a random scenario and seeing how they interact and react?

That sounds a bit sadistic on my part. sweatdrop
I love doing sweet romances, like most people who have their in on the RP rush. But I hate it when people randomly rush things, or, even worse, make it all about running the bases. (It's funny to play around with people who do that...I mean to say...get them away from the couch or bed.)
Anyway, I think characters are the most important thing in a roleplay, seeing as they are its driving force. Without well-developed characters things tend to get tedious or monotonous. And I hate seeing
patterns in what people write. Well, I don't hate it, but I yearn for more creativity.
Ah, to finish off what has become a bit of an uncalled for rant, I'll say that I like mentally twisted characters and when people add humor to roleplays. Genre has no limitations on that. sweatdrop

Genre has no limitations on that. sweatdrop Lol, I agree with all that you said, aside from a few of your 'thought bits' (like when you said, "That sounds a bit sadistic on my part," I did laugh though ^_^). I totally get what you're saying though, hence why I agree. I'll be honest, I am a fairly new-RPer, but I do have common sense. A lot of the RPs and characters that I create, are a lot like me, or are the "me" I wish I could be, either way, my characters are "good people" so, u'd never have to worry about having a sucky RP w/ me. I hope this made sense in some way. Anyhoo, it's hard to pick my favorite RP as well, since I have fun doing all of those listed, ^_^. But, I am a sucker for romance so, that's the one I went w/, ^_^.

I hate realistic Rp, I'm more into Fantasy rps. They're really fun to get into.

 I do role play a lot more in fantasy role plays then I do in any other classified genre. But I also enjoy scifi based role plays as well. But I refuse to do a realistic role play. It takes away the meaning of role playing. The point of a role play is to be someone totally new. Totally not yourself. To escape in a world that isn't the one you live in every day.

One of my fave styles is called DNA rp. This is where you rp as a human that has has his/her DNA mutated with the DNA of an animal biggrin
