Eyes of wind wandered close to the edge of the northern border, a place commonly watched over by her mother. She listened to the wind and closed her eyes glimpsing her birth dream while her eyes were shut. The wind anwsered her questions and calmed her. The sounds of the swamp allowed her to relax and the troubles that were looming ceased to be. She heard a loud crack as a twig snapped and her eyes flew open and her body turned to the disturbance to see a odd looking buck coming out of tall grass and into her field of vision. "Who are you?" She said in a somewhat defiant tone. She was curiouse to see who this buck that interupted her meditation was and why he was on the swamps border.

Movement-in-the-Grass stepped out from between the long blades of grass, presenting himself. 'Hmm... I wonder what she was doing?' He tilted his head to the side a little while he looked her up and down, thinking to himself, 'What a pretty little thing, this one. Those captivating golden eyes seem to pull me closer.' But aloud, he spoke in his soft voice, "Hello, I am Movement-in-the-Grass. What may I call you, dollface? He adopted one of those charming smiles of his as he took those few steps closer to the doe. He wondered why she was out here at the edges of the swamp, in such a quiet area, no less.

Eyes of Wind looked at this buck who interuppeded her meditation. He had oddly long ears and a stubby tail. His green coat was dashing, but he still appeared awkward. His title was aproprate for both his looks and lurking. He took aa few steps closer to Eyes of Wind and asked her, her name, and called her doll face. Eyes of Wind looked at Movement in the grass and flared her nostrils. " The names Eyes of Wind, and dont call me dollface." she said in an angry tone. " Whats a odd looking guy like you doing up here?" She said with the intent to insult him. 'pshhh doll face what kinda nerve does this guy have' thought Eyes of Wind throughout her words.

His smile dropped and turned into a slight frown. Perhaps I did overstep that one... "My pardon, Eyes of Wind. I did not mean to offend you, I merely meant it as a compliment." He took a step back, to show that he was not trying to crowd her and continued, in a gentler tone than before, "I was looking for a rather elusive fruit. It grows low to the ground and has a deliciously sweet taste. They only grow along the edge of the swamp. But what, if I may ask, did I stumble upon you doing?" He softened his expression to one of curiosity, not wanting to alienate such a pretty doe.

Eyes of Wind blushed, a bit ashamed of being so mean to movement, when his intentions were just to complinent her. She took a new look on the situation and decided that the awkward looking bck was kind of cute. " Thanks" she said as her cheeks were tinted with a rosey glow. She was interested in his search for this fruit. She had heard about a fruit like that, that was known to heal weak kimeti, but it was dangerouse to get because where it was located. The name of the fruit escaped her. " I was meditating. Its very relaxing to get away from all the business of the swamp and relax to the sound of the wind, the grass, and the birds." She said in a warm tone. " What did you say the name of the fruit was." She knew he didn't say it but she did not want to sound dumb asking what it was directly.

A slight grin came over his muzzle when the doe warmed up to him a little and blushed. He pretended not to notice the rosy tinge of her cheeks and responded with, "Meditating? Hm. Can't say I'd be able to keep still for so long. But I can see why you would come out here to be with the wind and such." The doe continued and proceeded to ask about the fruit. "Ahh. Mulberries. They are delicious when ripe, and only grow out here on the edges, like I said. But did you also know that their leaves and not ripe fruit calm the sick? Make 'em feel better." Perking up his obscenely long ears he took a half-step towards her and asked, "Would you join me in my search, Eyes of Wind? I would love to keep your company." He bowed his head slightly as he did so, keeping eye contact with the other kimeti.

The buck was a restless little fellow, but he was fun to be with. thought eyes of wind. She herd his question and responded, "Mulberries. Hmmm, I could use a tasty treat, and I didn't know that it was the leaves that made you feel better." She was excited to taste something new. "Sure" she said in a nice flirty voice. "You can call me Howl" said Eyes of Wind. She wanted to express that she was comfortable with Movements-in-the-Grass. She was still blush, the green kimeti, was becoming cuter and less odd by the second.

Progress. She had told him her nickname! This was definitely turning into a good day. He walked around to her side and nudged her side gently with his muzzle to indicate the treeline and accompanying bushes. Bringing his head back up, he gave a low rumbling, "You may call me Blade, my dear Howl." As he began towards the undergrowth, he looked over his shoulder to see if she was following, "Yes.. the leaves and green parts. They have a sort of... happy dreaming effect on whomever eats it. Sort of... intoxicating."

She looked at him curiously. He was seducing her, but she didn't mind it. SHe saw him nudge towards the tree line. " Blade where are the Mulberries?" She looked at him in a cute but stubborn tone. She trotted in front of him. She cut him off before he could enter the undergrowth. Her tail waging steadily from side to side, entrancing Blade. She wanted to try the leaves of the mulberries, that were intoxicating and eat the fruit that would stain her lips a dark red. "Are the mulberries around here she asked nudging towards the undergrowth." She was clear what his intentions were and she was fine with them. His seduction has overcome her.

A chuckle escaped him as the doe almost bounced around. She was flirting with him, and this lighter, playful behaviour made the doe even more attractive in his eyes. "They're here somewhere..." he said, stepping around her and poking his muzzle into the underbrush in search of the sought after berry-bush. "I'm sure we'll find one soon..." All the while, falling into a sort of rhythm, dodge, step, duck, repeat. A quick nuzzle slipped in here and there.
"Aha!" The buck had found what he was looking for. He moved the branches of a tree out of the way, and behind that was a mulberry bush, full of luscious fruit and enticing green leaves.

Howl watched as Blade pranced around searching for the mullberry bush. She giggled as he nuzzeled her. She laid down and yawned. She countinued watching Blade dance in his rythmic beat looking for the Fruity Bush. He exclaimed "Aha!" and turned facing Howl. She smiled and stood up. He walked towards him and nugded her nose under his beard. " Lets lay down and enjoy these." She said as she streched her hind legs. All the troubles of the swap left her and it was just her, the wind, the grass and Blade.

Breaking off a branch, Blade edged his way back out from the underbrush, and turned once more to face Howl. A soft smile attempted to form around the branch that he was holding in his teeth as his eyes moved to rest on the doe's partially pale face. He looked around and found a nice, soft expanse of grass where they could settle down and made his way over there.
He placed the branch down on the ground, quietly lay down and waited for her to lay down next to him.

She laid next to him as he brought over the mullberry branch. She tasted one of the berries and her lips were staind a deep red. She took another berry and fed it to Blade. She looked him In th eyes and nudged his face. She was curiouse how to each the leaves. She had never had them before and was excited but also a bit nervouse. Howl spoke, "How do i eat the leaves?" She giggled and waited for Blade to show her.

He took the berry from her, perhaps lingering a little longer than was necessary. He nuzzled her affectionately in response to her nudge. Her fur was soft to the touch and he closed his eyes to enjoy the moment. Wind softly caressing, as the sun sank lower in the sky.
"How do you eat them? Why, that's not difficult at all. You can eat them normally, just as you would eat any other leaf, but the best way to do it..." He lowered his head down to the branch and tore a few leaves off. He carefully stacked three of them, one on top of another, and then picked one end up and bent the other side into his mouth with his tongue. After chewing on the leaves thoroughly he swallowed them and turned to Howl again. "There. Like so. The more they break, the better they work. Here..." He bent down again and picked up the other stack of three leaves with his teeth and offered it to the doe, gently folding it into her mouth.

She accepted the leaves. They soothed her bones and her body felt relaxed. The calming affects of the sunset and the mullberry leaves relaxed her. Gently her head sank onto Blades neck and she breathed cool air on his ears. She was happy. Her tail slowly rocked from side to side and she felt as if her body could sink into the ground. She would remember this place forever. The land where the young do not venture. A place where legend and reality blend together to create a euphoric envorment. Howl's body felt the warmth from Blade as they laid in the grass enjoying the Mullberries and their leaves. The sun was almost completly gone and Howl Yawned again. " Mullberries are very soothing" she said calmly, "I guess you didn't interupt my meditation at all." Her cheeks were blush as she relaxed beside Blade.
