I haven't posted a topic in a while now, so I figured I might as well post one about this.
I saw on the news today that Peta is complaining about something President Obama did. Apparently, on a TV interview, Obama swatted and killed a fly with his bare hand. And now Peta is angry. About a fly. The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are angry about a dead insect. I heard this, and started laughing. Then I told my brother and some friends. They laughed. Then I told my stepdad and my grandma, and they laughed. Tell me, what is your reaction?

First naming fish Sea Kittens so people will not want to harm them / buy them as pets
Then supporting a petition against attack dogs in Call of Duty World At War (They want to change history? There really were attack dogs...)
Then holding an event in WoW to stop the killing of Baby Seals... in WoW

people need a reason to complain...they need as bad as the caffeine, nicotine and sugar that we all (any one of the three) use/consume each day to week

Pretty much I think people expect such things from PETA and PETA is ready and eager to do stupid things to get attention.
They know that a good majority of their organization is a joke.
The parts that actually do productive things though... kudos to them.

PETA is always hunting for their next unsuspecting victim of shame. They're like the modern Romans. Seriously its a FLY, no big deal. I'm all about animal rights n all but flies are annoying.

Well, Pixie, there is that. But flies aren't technically animals. Insects are classified differently. And why doesn't Peta b***h about the war? Humans are technically animals too.
