Have any of you ever been playing and seen a paintball fly straight across the field, then hang a left at a bunker?
I think it's amusing how paintball physics are inherently screwed up. I know why it is (balls not perfectly spherical, not filled all the way, uneven firing), but I still think it's funny. Have any good stories about this type of thing? How about any good stories period? blaugh

We all know backspin creates lift. Well, once i was able to use my flatline barrel turned to the side to shoot people behind trees and stuff. It took a lot of paint, as it was about as ill-consistant as possible, but it was still fun.

Most of the times when painballs curve is because the barrel or mostly the gun is not accurate. Take a brass eagle and spyder guns for example even with and ok barrel they still curve.

I've seen this happen with more expensive markers as well, most notably my brother's Rat Jr. and my friend's Autococker. It's not just the barrel, it's the fact that the balls aren't completly spherical or weighted evenly as well.

All guns curve the rounds at least some of the time. It would be impossible for it not to happen, given physics. Technically though, since in speedball you're not supposed to watch your paint fly, I don't blame you for not seeing it.

one reason a ball curves is because theres a drop of water inside the barrel. The ball hits it and drag is created on that part of the ball, causing a spin in that direction.
i keep my flatline clean and squeeged as much as possible, and the accuracy is actually pretty good considering.

Airball for me no stupid speedball and woodball and in airball youre always watching your paint wherever you go because if you dont you could be shooting at the wrong place and might even hit your own teammates and what i mean is my paint has never curved sure it creates about a 1 foot diameter of accuracy andthat is becuse of my 100 dollar barrel a worked my a** off for.

YOu can do some of those things in woodsball and speedball as well, so don't go dissin other forms of paintball man.

I'll say the same thing I said when you dissed Sicon's Tippman. If you haven't read that post, go do so. Different people like different things, so don't insult the choices of others. Consider this your first warning.
