Icrat, I totally sympathize. Have you tried Amelia Atwater-Rhodes? She wrote her first book when she was only 14 and I would liken her writing to Ann Rice but just a little lighter. She has a couple of series you might find at the library or used book store. I know there are some other writers but let me think about it and figure out who would come close to Rice's previous writings.
