*No music, as Terry Funk walks down to the ring with a mic and a chair in his hand, the crowd is chanting his name and he half smiles, knowing that he is going to disappoint them tonight, he sits the chair down and takes the mic to his mouth*
"Tonight, I am nostalgic. Not about my NWA days, not about my WWF days, no, about my ECW days. I am here, tonight.....to set the record straight.
*He pauses and the crowd chant "FUNK FUNK FUNK"*
"Back in EXTREME championship wrestling, I was at my prime. I was the risk taker, I was the main that put my body on the line, AT ANY COST, to walk out seeing the smiling faces of the fans, to give the fans there moneys worth. To make sure that THE FANS WENT HOME HAPPY!
*The Crowd is chanting FUNK FUNK FUNK*
"I didn't need Dory, I didn't need my father. Just me, my opponent and the fans chanting my name and making me feel like I MATTER. I WAS THE MAIN EVENT ON ECW, I would set my body on fire! I left the buckets of blood in Japan, I was the reason that people paid to watch ECW!"
*The crowd is chanting ECW!"
"I did the moonsault of ladder at 40 and 50, I set people on fire, I made people bleed, I MADE THE FANS DO THE CHANTS THAT YOU ARE DOING RIGHT NOW. TERRY FUNK WAS E C FREAKING W!"
"Then, Mick Foley came in, along with Sabu and Tommy Dreamer. These three men took what I was, WHAT I MEANT and stole it. Then rode my cocktails and made there career at my expense. Foley says that he is "hardcore legend" and Sabu was "homicidal, suicidal, and genocidal" and Dreamer was the "heart and soul of ECW". THAT WAS ME! ALL ME! No body gave a rats a** about any of those three as long as I was here, I made them who they were, I made Sabu crazy, I made Foley the Hardcore legend and I made Tommy the soul of ECW. None of these men have anything on me. They would be NOTHING! NOTHING without my guidance. And what do I get back? No thank you, no "Terry, without you I would be working at a supermarket" NOTHING. THEY STOLE MY GLORY AND STOLE WHAT WAS MINE, THEY STOLE MY ECW FROM THE MAIN WHO GAVE BLOOD TO IT ME! Foley sold out, and became a laughing stock in the WWE, because I wasn't there to help him. Sabu was caught with 4:20 RVD, because he didn't know any better, because I wasn't there! Dreamer had a win-loss record worse then the BWO, because I wasn't there. I helped them become who they were, THEY STOLE MY GIMMICK, THEY STOLE MY PERSONA AND THEY STOLE WHO I WAS. Foley, I want you to come out here, right now, and admit to everyone that you, Sabu, and Tommy would be NOTHING without ME!
*Terry waits*

"COME ON FOLEY! ARE YOU TO SCARED TO FACE ME ARE YOU TO SCARED TO REALIZE THE TRUTH! THAT YOU ARE A WASHED UP HAS BEEN, OR ARE SABU AND DREAMER HOLDING YOU BACK, YOU STUPID, FAT PIECE OF GARBAGE!"

Mick Foley made his way onto the ramp with his theme music blaring.
"Terry, you're absolutely right. You've been a mentor to me and I owe a lot of my success to you. ECW owes a lot of its legacy to you. You took every guy you worked with in ECW under your wing and really gave your best to build that company up. All that was given, Terry, by you to us. It wasn't stolen. Terry, there came a time when Tommy, Sabu, and I had to make decisions. These decisions were best for us and our families. I'm sure you understand that. For me, it took the dropping of my hardcore persona and the usage of a poorly made sock puppet (The crowd pops for the Socko mention) before I finally made it big in this company, and really in this business. Terry, you've been around a long time, and have given everything in the ring. But Terry, you have to face the fact that you just can't go anymore. That all your students have passed you in some way and that it's just time to pack it in and go home Terry. Go home to Amarillo, to your wife, to your ranch, just finally let your legacy lie and accept that you can't do it anymore Terry. I don't want to have to beat up an old man -- No, I won't beat up an old man. Just go home."
Foley turned his back to Funk and started to head back up the ramp.

"Can't do it, CAN"T DO IT!, and you can? You can still go. Your paper skin and glass bones? YOU ARE TELLING ME TO GO HOME. AT LEAST I DIDN'T SELL OUT, AND LEAST I DIDN'T SELL MY SOUL TO THE DEVIL! I keep ECW alive, I made ECW what it was. And if you think I can't go, then let's try that! Me and You, one on one in a ECW Match, no hold barred, falls count anywhere and anything goes! You want to test the waters and call me an old man, prove it Foley, man up for once in your life and prove to me that you aren't all talk and that you are what I MADE YOU, the hardcore legend!"
*Terry waits for the answer*

Foley paused and turned to face Funk again.
"Terry, I told you. I'm not going to beat down an old, defenseless man, no matter how much you plead, because I care about you Terry. If I go down there right now I'll only be telling you 'Terry, it's ok, you can still do it.' I'd have to crush your spirit, and I don't want to have to do that Terry. We've been through so much together. Go out with some dignity."

"Dignity? Are you kidding me? Out of all people, you use that word? The one person that has the least amount of dignity. Foley, you are a sell out. you became Mankind and the god awful Dude Love. I never, NEVER sold my soul, I was always ECW, I didn't care about the money, I cared about THE FANS!. Huh, remember them, the people that helped you out, I put my body on the line EVERY SINGLE NIGHT to make them happy. You put a sock on your hand and made the people laugh, not with you Mick, at you. They LAUGHED AT YOU MICK. No one respected you, not in your WWE days. Back in ECW, when you were Cactus Jack, you were respected, although at my expense, but still respect. You fought with heart for the fans. The pay check didn't matter. You have lost your ECW roots Mick, or should I say, Sell-out? Huh, remember when we worked the gyms and the fans chanted ECW ECW ECW!"
*The fans chant ECW ECW ECW*
"The days where you were new, and I taught you everything you know? Then you back stab me, steal my gimmick and make me look washed up and dry out, like I didn't matter. You say that I can't go? Well Foley, I will prove you wrong, Mick. This is going to hurt you a lot more then it is going to hurt me."
*Terry jumps out of the ring and grabs a chair by the announcers, then walks the ramp and attempts to hit Foley with the chair*

Foley saw Funk coming and acted quickly, aiming a big swinging kick at the groin of the Funker, trying to stop him dead in his tracks.

"That's the Foley that I made. So, we are on ME AND YOU IN A ECW MATCH?......"
*Terry groans from the low blow.*

Foley didn't respond verbally. Instead he aimed a forearm at Funk's face before heading to the back, the sick look on his face unique to veterans of the ECW battlefield.
