This is my last address as Captain of HTRP. It has become abundantly clear with the veteran members of HTRP that my latest decisions as Captain have been poorly made. As I have said many times in previous communiques with the former members of this guild's leadership, I will be perfectly willing to step down should you desire it. I place my position in your hands. I know this will betray the confidence some of you have placed in me, but my loyalties are not to any one person but to the Guild. These poor choices were made for the good of the guild, and I would make them again. As such I am as of now no longer the Captain of HTRP. That title belongs to Norijitsu, as he it is rightfully his.
This has been an interesting and tumultuous day, and frankly it might not had ended the way I wanted it to. However, I hope that we'll at least get to keep on roleplaying, whether or not we're all still around to see it.
Good night, and good luck.

I think you make a great leader! We are only human, mistakes happen.
Also, poor Nori. He is going to be so confused as to whats happening for a few seconds...

R&DS, don't poke fun at it. It's not something that we enjoy.
There's history behind the Guildocaust that I can fill you in on if you'd like.

Halo Historian R&DS, don't poke fun at it. It's not something that we enjoy. There's history behind the Guildocaust that I can fill you in on if you'd like. I would like a brief summary myself.

I thought Hege did a good job. I'm still backing him up as Captain of the guild. Nobody (except Mike) can whip erraneous people so well.

Mill Wilkinson I thought Hege did a good job. I'm still backing him up as Captain of the guild. Nobody (except Mike) can whip erroneous people so well. I agree >> Hege/Halo should stay up there until well, at least until ODST comes out XD (So they can make an epic flash back RP again >>)

In regards to the statement above June 16th, 2009 : 12:58:19pm EST Subject: Leadership
Please press /enter/ to continue
To my fellow RPers.
Many of you dont know me. Infact the old group that used to run this have become veterans, and have sunk to the shadow's as I have. Until lastnight.
Last night I learned something, that this is not only a RP, but a volly and string of friendship as it were. Back 4 years ago, I had no idea this would touch so many people and have an impact on so many lives as it has done today. The "veteran's" of this RP have shared a common bond of friendship between eachother. For instance, I have never met the infamous Michael Hammer, or the lat Ian Lepkowsky, but I refer to them as my best friends as to this day stands. They are my friends, my brothers, and for that I thank them for taking this RP to the highest potential.
As of 1pm, I have gained my right back as Captain of this Role play. A challenge that tested our friendship, but has also made it stronger.
Everyone reading this, dont lose faith. Dont lose that creative spark that leads you to roleplay. As I have just regained mine after a year, I feel the urge to just tell you, HAVE FUN. I made this RP for people to meet new people who shared the common interest of the Xbox consol game Halo, and for people to have a "pimpin good time". Hell, like I said, when i made this RP about 4 years ago, I had NO idea what it would bring to the table. I have not only met new friends, but new brother's as well.
All of you, stand fast and heed what I am about to tell you...
You all are my friends, and you all have earned a new chapter of respect in my book. And I fully thank you for your patiance with the coming events.
Please note this also: I am fully open to the ideas an opinions of new Crew. As you have noticed. We only have a VC and a Captain. Nominations will be taken in the form of a PM sent to my personal PM box. The qualifications are that they are understanding, active within the roleplay, and show a positive outlook on the future of what is to come for everyone within the guild.
Remember that.
My friends, My brother's and sisters, continue the tradition I started 4 years ago. Continue to show fellow Roleplayers the way to having fun, and what it means to thrive as the best Halo Roleplay on Gaia.
Godspeed to all of you... make myself and all of your peer's proud.
Respectfully yours, Sir Benjamin D. Resnick Founder and Captain of Halo : The Roleplay ---------------------------------------------------------

Awesome 3nodding
Nothing better than seeing something go right, and people having bonds.
Does that heart-touching part apply to newbies too?

I don't see why it wouldn't, Hex, Nori doesn't seem to be the kind of guy to pick and choose between who he views with grace and who he doesn't, as long as you don't act up against him.
