Posting Contest:
The rules are simple. Please send me a PM if you are planning to join so I can make note of your post count when you start. Then come on in and chat! At each cut-off date, I will check your new post count and the top poster will win the prize.
Please note: We are also running a bumping contest (rules follow in same post). You may only enter ONE of these contests. If you participate in the bumping contest, you are still encouraged to hang out and chat in the other threads, but you are NOT eligible to join the posting contest. Questions? Send me a PM and I will clarify.
Basic guidelines:
Follow the TOS.
No double-posting (posting twice in a row in a thread).
Emoticons do not count as a post.
Deleted posts may not be included in total post count.
Frequent post deletion may result in exclusion from the contest.
Bumping Contest:
Post your bumps in this thread only, please.
Number your bumps.
Don't skip numbers, people! You know better!
Numbering will restart each time period, but I will use the total number of bumps to choose the overall winner.

I forgot to mention that! Yes, zeromus, that's fine. You and I are not actually contestants in either contest, but we can both post. The (unofficial) goal is to beat your total post count, so it wouldn't make sense for you to compete. And since I'm the judge, I'm not eligible, either.
