It had been awhile since Rinny had come to visit the little porcelain village. By the wide eye look on her face, it was obvious that some things had changed. Blinking she shakes her head as her tail brushes the ground, her wings folding behind her.
It seems they are here to stay?
Moving down the dirt pathway, she pauses as she sniffs the air. Her ears twitching as she looks towards the little building. That scent was amazing, unlike anything she seen in any of the other stores. In fact she had to have some at this very moment. It would smell great in her apartment at school.
Stepping towards the building, makes her way up the path. She was really hoping the shop was open.

The shop was, indeed, open, though there were no outward indications of such beyond the front door being propped wide to allow the afternoon breeze inside (and, perhaps also, to allow the scents within to sigh their fragrance into the surrounding vicinity).
Hitsuga had nervously lingered in the storefront of the shop off and on since late that morning, not expecting any customers on the first day, and yet daring to hope there might be. Thus far, however, it had been quiet.
While under most circumstances, this might have horribly troubled him, there was something to be said for the attitude of a man newly-married. Or at least this one in particular. Baikou had suggested he ought to get things opened before the glow started to diminish so that he might make a rare first impression on any customers.
He had agreed.
And so, now, instead of gritting his teeth and fretting at the lack of activity and what it may mean for the future, he sat at the table in his kitchen. He kept his hearing keened toward the door, but was having a cup of tea and studying the fliers of other businesses in the shopping district that he had picked up with mild interest, trying in vain to understand the jumble of Gaian letters.

Seeing the door was popped open, Rinny pushes it just alittle to allow herself inside. With her heels tapping the ground to announce her entrance, she stood their with her eyes closed. The smells taking over her senses as she finds herself consumed by them. Leave it to a feline to enjoy the scents like it was catnip to her.
As her tail brushes the ground, she turns towards the perfume looking each scent over. She couldn't decide which one was better, each one was such a great scent.
She was glad she had brought money with her today, as she had a feeling she would be buying everything she could.
Looking back towards the door, she pauses as she chews on her bottom lip. She knew her powers were at half, so she might not be able to get anyone's attention. She had to try though, not to startle anyone with her being inside the building.
Taking a deep breath, she concentrates allowing her emotions of happiness to flow outward and around her.
Hello? Anyone here?

Hitsuga had hesitated at the small sounds of pronounced footsteps on the floorboards, waiting for the familiarity of a neighbor's projection to accompany it. Instead, however, he feels a gentle sweep of happiness and a voice he does not place as familiar.
Setting the tea aside, he rises immediately to hurry to greet whomever is there, projections of warm welcome preceding him.
Smiling to Rinny, he favors her with a polite bow.
How may this one serve Madame?

A huge smile forms on Rinny's lips as she bows to the young man. Finding it nice that he didn't panic that she was in the shop while he wasn't around. Turning towards the perfumes, she picks up a few bottles then back towards him. How much? I would like to buy a set, as well as a few of the other items. My mother would really love these indeed. And the potpourri would be great in my apartment. She found herself blushing as she rambles on. Shaking her head, she bows it again. I'm so sorry, here I am rambling and you were probably busy. Across the way, Oukou steps out of her own building as she coughs. Head to toe, she was covered in dirt from cleaning. Shaking her head she looks back at the house. The smell was still there, and she had to figure out a way to get rid of it. Otherwise she would be coughing all the time. Looking toward the building, she frowns. She hadn't stepped anywhere near it since that day. Why of all people, did he have to be the owner?

Oh, no. Not busy at all, he assures her.
In fact, things had been rather slow until Madame's arrival, which makes him all the more happy for it.
Tilting his head a bit at the bottles she's presented him with, he leans in a bit to examine which, and...
...Madame must excuse Hitsuga, he is still becoming familiar with this world's currency as compared to the prices in his own. sweatdrop
Embarrassment flitters through the air as he rushes behind the counter for the small pad of paper and pen that was meant for noting phone messages. As he quickly jots numbers, his hand trying not to jitter on the paper as he admonishes himself privately for having organized everything except this ONE GLARING ISSUE, he tries to gloss over it with small talk.
Lavender is a good choice for this time of the year, he tells her pleasantly, noting her choice in the potpourri. During the nights, especially, it can be very soothing...

Rinny chuckles before she set everything down, looking over the items she picked up. She had picked up all the perfumes, the star incense holders, a couple of oils to burn. She pauses as she looks at the lavender before grabbing it also.
Thank you, lavender is such a nice smell. I know it will work well in my mother's home.
Pausing, she watches him working out number. After a moment, she shakes her head before she pull out her coin purse. Setting down the coin purse, she pushes it towards him.
There is two thousand gold coin in that purse, even though it doesn't seem like it. I hope that would be enough for you? If not, I can go get more for you.
Making her way towards the Perfumery, Oukou rubs at her temples as she attempts to figure out how to get pass this. Maybe just go deal with it would be alot better.
No that wouldn't work, as already the dragon cat wasn't taking to kindly to her anger. In fact, she was surprise it was still hanging around her.
Pausing at the door, she lifts her chin before stepping into the building. Her eye holding contempt as she looks around at the items. She say nothing as she moves towards the scented candles.
In an out, then I won't have to talk to him.

Hitsuga had just finished shuffling the last of the figures around, and found that it would come out to roughly....
.....
...much less than Madame had just offered him. eek Hitsuga is most flattered, but is she....is she quite sure? he inquires, even as his attention is drawn by a flash of color near the door.
She strikes him as familiar, that one. And he offers her a greeting, even as he tries to place her face.
How is the day finding Madame...? 3nodding

Rinny finds herself chuckling as she nods to him. Her eyes turning to look toward the other person that walked in. She was screaming anger, and that confused her more then anything. Looking back toward Hitsuga she bows her head. Yes, I am sure. With such fine work here, you deserve so much more. Oukou glare at Hitsuga before she arches a brow. Why was he even talking to her, she figured she made it clear when she walked in.
Dirty, but what does that matter to you? Going to pass out again from the sight of me like before?
Turning away, she moves towards the bath oils. Pausing as she looks at the bottle that was scented with the smell of oranges. Frowning, she quickly sets it back down before she continues to look. Rinny frowns as she looks at the young woman again, then back at Hitsuga. Feeling bad for him, that this girl was so rude.

Hitsuga's look of pleasantness falters heavily at the words, though he clings to it tightly for the sake of professionalism. Going to pieces is not a good first impression of a shopowner on his first day open...
He bows his head in turn to Rinny, projecting deepest thanks to her. He hopes her selections will be to her liking, and that she will return if she is in want of more or has any requests of him...?
His eyes, occasionally, still flit to Oukou, however, knowing now exactly who she is. When last he'd seen her it had been several weeks ago, however, and...he'd only seen her for a few minutes, in fact, before....
His cheeks flush red as he extends a faltering and private apology to Oukou.
He...he believes Madame may have misunderstood, he says carefully. It was not she, herself, he'd had such a reaction to. Surely not. Hitsuga is very sorry for making her think so. sweatdrop

Rinny nods before she looks back towards the girl again. Glancing back towards Hitsuga she points toward Oukou. You know her? Frowning, Oukou looks at Hitsuga then at the feline. Disgust forms on her face before she shakes her head. No he doesn't know me, nor does he care trust me. In fact passing out proves that. And that apology means nothing, I've heard them all before. Shaking her head, Oukou turns away as she rubs at her temples again. She really shouldn't have come. She would rather deal with the smell, then this. Rinny hair was standing on end, as she was so angry at how this young woman was treating him. If she could growl, she would have been already. Instead her tail smacks the ground hard as she watches the girl. She had to keep her calm, and not give to her urge to slap this girl.

As the tension from the two females rises on the air, so too does Hitsuga's spiking anxiety.
Ah....please. Please. Let him explain. Blue eyes look both to Rinny and to Oukou pleadingly.
What had happened, he's afraid, is that he'd not slept well the night before due to an unexpected visitor, and shortly afterward, had a confrontational meeting with someone due to a rather severe misunderstanding.
He had already been in a bad state when Madame had stepped into his workroom and startled him, and...
....and he's unfortunately prone to fits when frightened badly enough
He is certain if he had met Madame under proper circumstances, he never would have had such a reaction gonk

Rinny shakes her head before she takes a few steady breaths in. Looking to Hitsuga she smiles to him as she nods. Her eyes were locked on the female as the anger grew in the child.
You don't have to explain yourself myself. You have done nothing wrong, trust me on this.
Oukou was angry beyond control, so much that she decided it wasn't worth it anymore. Throwing her hands up in the air, she turns without another word and storms out of the building. She needed air, and would rather deal with anyone but these two at this point. Rinny shakes her head before she moves towards the few items Oukou was looking at. Picking them up, she moves toward the counter again. That one is tormented, and she hides it with anger. I've had to deal with that before myself. Giving Hitsuga another smile, she looks at the items. Seems she likes oranges, I think I will pick up a few for her. But could you deliver them for me?

Does Madame think that's wise...? He ventures tentatively, looking in the direction Oukou had gone, wisps of regret, upset, and worry gnatting about him.
It is only that he doesn't want to upset her further...
Though he doesn't say it, its clear enough he feels horrible about her reaction to him as it is.

Rinny smiles at him as she push her hand through her hair. With a nod, she chuckles alittle. Please call me Rinny, I trust I am not much older then you. As far as that one, yes I am sure. But do it at night, when she sleeps. Looking back towards the door, she shakes her head as she crosses her arms under her chest. Maybe she was wrong, and that was just how she was. But no one was ever that mean, unless they were hiding something. A sure fire way to let someone know you care, is by paying attention. All she needs is someone to show that. Looking back at Hitsuga, she lays her hand on the counter. Think of it as a show of friendship? That your not who she thinks you are?
