This thread will held all battles for the liberation of Squad 13.
Everyone must post here after arriving from Tansen's New Mansion.
The rules are as follow:
.:: Rules of Engagement ::.
~ The battle is won after 20 posts have been made (collectively).
~ OOC posts does not count, nor does the intro post.
~ No double-posting is allowed, but there's no need for any particular posting order.
~ From time to time, I'll be giving instructions on how you should post. You'll be fighting against NPC's the whole time.

[ENTERS from Tansen's New Mansion]
A portal opened above Squad 13 grounds. MockaDash came falling down from the portal. With the kiseru on the corner of his mouth, the Captain stretched his right arm and pointed it at the ground. Hadou # 63 -- Raikouhou! his voice echoed in the sky, as the Hollows down below had only time to glance upwards, as the thundering yellow beam of reiryoku came crashing down on them.
A large blast decimated several of those beasts, as the - already crumbling - remains of the 13th Squad's buildings collapsed. Still falling towards the ground, the Captain reached for his wakizashi, as dozens of other Hollows jumped and flew towards him.
Piercing the dagger on the closest fiend's mask, the creature turned to dust as the blood on the Zanpakutou was absorbed. The wakizashi grew into a dark nodachi, that the Captain brandished, destroying several other foes in the process.
His indigo reiatsu was leaking out. That alone forcing several Hollows to fall to the ground. Leaving a trail of smoke from the pipe on his mouth, Mock ran between the beasts, slashing away at them with incredible speed. The tobacco smoke mixed with the dust on the air, from the slaying of those beasts.
Looking up, he said to his subordinates that were following through the portal I'll clear up a path and deal with the bigger ones for now. You stay close and cover each others back. Deal with any remnant threat.
The former grand and illustrious Squad 13 grounds was now a desolate and sad thing to view. Smoke and debris were all over the place. Fires still burning here and there. The buildings were now reduced to wreckage.
(( For the next post you'll be fighting against normal Hollows. Fight against NPC's as you deal with remnant forces. You won't be fighting Menos or above for now, just kill normal - every size and shape - hollows. ))

"WUAAHHH!!" The ruins destroyed mere seconds ago by the captain of the thirteenth division rumbled and seemed to scream... The debris that fell was suddenly flown in every direction, as a blur flew from it.... Seconds notice, and this blur had 'Crossed The Map' on a single hollow, of natural size.. Its scream was ready to echo, but abruptly stopped.. the screech was interrupted by the loud crack that silenced the immediate area... In a certain twisting motion, the foot stabbed into the hollow's face would flip and twirl into a reverse corkscrew to remove itself... The hollows cracked mask now crumbled and cracked until the body of the beast began to evaporate silently... The whirring sound of a rapid back-flip and then a thud signaled Kuuri's arrival... "Hum... I knew this would be fun.. Now.. that guy up there said.. 'Stay Close And Cover Each Other', then to 'Deal With Remnant Threats'... Hum... I can do the second thing, but the first one would need more of me... I could do both of them!" With that, his eyes would close and he'd grin widely.. With a sudden blur, a transparent after-image of himself would stand in his former position, appearing just in time to be struck by a large claw....
Roaring and Screeching soon clouded the area where Kuuri appeared... They'd gathered around the sudden falling of one of there kind.. This gathering, however, would show to be useless and hindering to there own forces... At least seven of the gathering hollows would, in rapid succession, grow dent son there mask poking inwards and distorting there already ugly faces... No sound could be uttered as the mask of each hollow would crack.. the dents were like air suctioning chasms in the face of each creature.. The air within each crater was suctioned in from an unimaginable force not done through normal means of speed.... In sync, the mask would shatter and fall to the ground.. As that happened, black orbs of dead spiritual particles would evaporate upwards...
As this happened, Kuuri's blur separated into more thin and oddly shaped blurs... Soon they were everywhere within range of the portals first opening location.. Hollow after Hollow would begin to die off, falling from forces that weren't even visible... "YEAH.... SUPER KICK!!" With that, the scream would echo itself and come from every direction.. a confused hollow would turn its head friviously and crazily like a child before a visible Kuuri would appear crouched into its large and extremely bulky frame.. Vertically..?! He seemed to perform an eagle crouch on the creatures torso, vertically and without any sense of worry for what the hollow could do at this angle.... "Wait.. This isn't a kick.. This is just me standing on a moving wall!.. Well.. MOVING WALL ROCK LAUNCH-OFF THROW ATTACK!" With that scream, his feet would blur and he'd rocket off of the torso area....
Or.. the hollow would rocket off of him! with that push, the hollow would be shot back, not Kuuri... It looked similar to a Drop Kick, except Kuuri didn't fall.. just floated there as his target flung back, its rib-area sounding with numerous cracks and other noises that were entertaining.. Kuuri now lounged on the air, defying gravity as he laughed... Dust now clouded the ground in a trail, stretching about twenty two feet.. The hollow had been shot out like a cannon from beneath Kuuri's feet, brought across the area at top speed in a very funny fashion, rolling as blood covered the ground in an ever thinning trail... As it closed in and slowed down, crashing into a rotted and nearly broken tree.. it would fade, and its mask would literally plop off onto the ground.. Then crack into at least several hundred splinters.... Kuuri would sigh as hollows slowly closed in on his floating invisible couch he lounged so lazily on.... they wouldn't, however, come within five yards of him, from any angle.. they seemed to be blocked by a constant flow of reiastu... Kuuri's spiritual pressure field wouldn't allow them entrance to even think of attacking him...

((Sorry Kuuri but this is intended for squad 13 members only. I thought it was obvious so I didn't bother to add it to the rules above. I concede that it's my fault there.
But I also consider rude to post here without even asking my permission first. For now, and until you contact me through PM or whatever mean you prefer, your post is going to be disregarded.
I will not delete your post, since that would be inappropriate as well, but please consider what I've said. Now that what is done is done, maybe we can work something out, if you'll still like to be a part of this battle.
I'll say it again though, before posting here again, contact me.))

Shinzou came through the portal next, clamoring for something to hold to momentarily before gaining his bearings and readying for the fall. They were sent out at a different angle thanks to Shinzou's leap, needless to say his laughing stopped as he saw a thick carpet of hollows where they were going to land. He watched Mock in amazement as he fell, watching his Captain destroy a large mass of hollows. He shook off his wonderment and checked on Hatsume. "How ya holding up Hatsume?" He shouted above the roaring wind and Captain Mock's attack.
He waited for her to tell him that she was and then began to launch attacks of his own. "Bakudo Number Four: White Lightning." He said as he pointed his index finger at a hollow near their landing place. It hit the beast square in the skull and it disappeared from existence. Three more like attacks and their landing spot was clear. "Hang on!" He shouted as they plummeted closer.
A second before they hit he expelled some of his Reishi(not sure how to spell that, lol) and their decent slowed enough for them both to land safely. He looked around them at the hollows, sitting there on one knee. He extended his arm so that she could climb down if she wanted to, which would probably be a good idea considering that they were surrounded. Either way he was drawing his sword and readying for battle. "You ready to go Hatsume, we need to fight our way back towards the rest of the group." He said as he dodged an incoming hollow and cut it's legs out from under it.

Yorich was the next to make his decent into what was once considered "Heaven." Now only a singed and desolate ghost town, the sight reminded Yorich of his last moment on earth as his home was destroyed by a hollow. He didn't see or know the cause for the destruction before, but now that he could give evil a face and a name, there was only one thought left in his mind: revenge!
About 10 feet from the ground the capitaine had so awesomely cleared for them, he shot his right hand out and cried Hadou #1: Shou! And with that burst of reishi, he was able to land safely on the ground, but only for about a second as a group of human-sized hollows arose from the ground and sprung at him. Acting quickly, Yorich fell back on his spine and kicked his feet into the hollows' masks with so much force they were stunned, and Yorich sprung back up at them to deliver a quick airborne 360-slash with his wakizashi. Is everyone alright? he called to his comrades, but he could see they were having no trouble dealing with this low-rated scum, and he took off after the capitaine.

...Emerging from the purplish black portal that was created by Hogosha, Amatsu glanced down below at the hundreds of Hollows. His glaze was a lazy one. The battle would greatly interest him, but the battle wouldn't be anywhere never as fun as it would have been with an Espada. "Well, let the party begin..." He said with a gentle smile. Stepping off without much worry, Amatsu plummeted down below like a boulder falling down into a precipice. Amatsu landed without a single sound. Rising from his crouched position he glanced around at the few Hollows that saw him land, and the ones that had no idea he was there. No warning proceeded the attack of a humanoid Hollow. Its white eyes piercing into Amatsu's back. A loud screech escaped it as he lunged for him. Amatsu glanced over his right shoulder at the Hollow with lazy eyes, and a grin across his face. Turning just slightly with his index, and middle finger pointed at it, a bright blue ball began to form on the tips. "Byakurai “White Lightning”..." He muttered before a distorted beam of white lightning erupted form his fingers. It pierced the Hollow in mid-leap. Along with another Hollow behind it, they dissintagrated into dust...
...As the beam started to disappear along with the Hollows, Amatsu noticed two more Hollows coming at him from where he was originally facing, while the other was coming from behind him. His left hand fell to the hilt of his katana. As the first Hollow that looked almost like a wolf. Amatsu saw the claw coming at him. Placing the bladed edge up to block the attack, he slid back a few yards. Amatsu's hand was placed on the backside of the blade to reinforce the attack. "Mhh..." Was all he let out. With that Amatsu sliced downward severing the fingers in a bloody mess. The Hollow let out a huge squalling scream. Crouching down just slightly, Amatsu leaped into the air swiftly. Raising his blade just slightly up and to the left he angled the blade downward diagonally. Slashing in a wide arc toward the Hollows head. As his blade came out of the Hollows head Amatsu smiled as he landed upon the ground. With the blood splash half its head came off disappearing into dust. Glancing to the other Hollow with a maniacal laugh Amatsu rushed forward. The Hollow let out a roar, but in mid-roar its life was gone...
...Dragging his blade on the ground, Amatsu reached the Hollow. Leaping into the air while slashing upward he sliced right through the Hollow. As his blade emerged from the top of its head he smiled before landing behind the Hollow. "Damn... This is too easy..." He said with a chuckle. Amatsu hoped there were stronger Hollows somewhere here. If not he really should have left with Hogosha. It would have honestly been better. Amatsu glanced down at his blade. Hollow blood began to stain it. With a swift swipe of his blade he slung the blood at another Hollow. Amatsu smiled at the Hollow. "What?" He asked with a chuckle...

If nobody had gotten sick from traveling through a portal, Okojo thought he might surely be the first. It was another disoriented feeling, and he disliked it greatly. When he was finally through, however, it made him feel even more uncomfortable. From where he fell, he could see many masses of Hollows around where his Squad had landed. Sure enough, he would have to draw Tenri and wield the blade one-handed, or use his injured arm and carry the burden of pain the moment battle started.
Well, pain was the least of his worries.
The injured limb slipped out of where he'd been resting it in his sleeve, and both hands pulled out the heavy blade from its' sheath. He landed as he drew it, the blade hitting the ground and efficiently slicing through the head of a Hollow he'd rotated himself to aim for. Gritting his teeth, both hands came up, one holding hilt and the other holding the blunt side of the blade as the bleach-blond blocked an attack. A grunt escaped from the shinigami as he was pushed back, before he ducked and rolled under, standing behind the Hollow and pulling his blade through it. These Hollows were low enough level to be easy, even if one was injured from the start.
Okojo began moving toward the rest of the members of his squad. Soft whispers of calm, and focus murmured through his mind, and he simply didn't have too much time to think about where they came from, or why they helped him remain calm and focused. Or to notice that the area was unfamiliar to him, destroyed or not, and even if it were rebuilt he might not recognize it. His current focus was to help his squad, and to kill Hollows, and not on his lost memories, or stupid little mishaps he should have been able to take of during training that caused his arm to throb.
The next squad mate he found, he planned on putting his back to theirs so they could keep an eye on each others' blind points. He hoped everyone else planned to do the same.

Hishida had finally reached the end of his short journey through the portal and into the fray of what use to be Sereitei. While floating down from the portal, Hishida observed Captain Mockadashs battle. He also noticed his fellow squad members that had already engaged a few hollows. From the looks of it, the hollows that he would be facing were fairly weak. This gave Hishida some form of relief, but he didn't let his guard down. The shinigami knew that all it took was one successful strike from a hollow to end his life.
As Hishida neared landing, He let a small portion on his reiatsu escape from his being and stab through four hollows that had been waiting to violently greet him on the ground below. It was a little trick that Hishida had taught himself during his reiatsu training. Even if he wasn't able to use kidou, he would certainly be able to use this. As the lightening fast blur of blue reiatsu stabbed through the four masks below Hishida, the hollow attached to each one swiftly disintegrated. Instantly after this action Hishida landed and drew his Zanpaktou. A feeling of power surged through him as the light of the smoldering sun reflected off of his blade. It was time to take Sereitei back. With this, Hishida cried, Condemn souls! Akuma Tansen! Directly after reciting this demand, a black aura engulfed Hishidas zanpaktou, seconds later to disappear and reveal his katanas true form. A bone chillingly curved broadsword with a light layer of black reiatsu surrounding it. It was the moment of judgment, it was time to see how much his training had paid off.
Hishida focused on a group of hollows that were only a few dozen feet away from him. with a single thought, Hishida summoned multiple small orbs of metallic energy to appear around him. With a second thought, Hishida sent the orbs racing to their target. Within milliseconds, the orbs had solidified into an almost indestructible metal, and impaled their targets. about seven hollows instantly disintegrated, and three had gotten severely injured. After this assault, Hishida dived towards the remaining three hollows, and with three swipes of his blade, cut each mask in half. with a momentary screech of pain, the hollows joined their deceased comrades.

...As Amatsu made his witty remark to the huge Hollow, the Hollow itself seemed to quake with anger, releasing its claws to their full extend he crouched down slightly. Suddenly with a burst of pure energy the Hollow leaped forward toward Amatsu at an amazing speed. Amatsu himself just smirked at the Hollow pathetic attempt. As it reached Amatsu with a swipe of its claws, Amatsu crouched down to avoid the Hollow all together. As the Hollows under belly reached just above Amatsu, his hand went into a flat palm. "Shō [Thrust]!" He announced with a smirk. Thrusting his flat palm upward he released a blast of white reiatsu with a tint of blue in it. As he did the Hollow was launched into the air with a bellowing howl. Amatsu's hand clenched, and unclenched around his blade that was held limply to his slide. Still in his crouch position looking up at the Hollow, he was in the perfect position to attack. Launching his on self up into the air, Amatsu placed his other hand on the hilt of his blade. The moment the Hollow reached the peak of his climb Amatsu sliced his blade through his mid-section. Amatsu didn't stop there. Steadily climbing he glanced down over his left shoulder at the disintegrating Hollow...
...That was when Amatsu noticed something big and black speeding toward him from his left. It was a fly Hollow? Amatsu had yet to learn how to condense reiatsu enough to walk upon, so he was a sitting duck in the skies. As the Hollow approached, Amatsu's upper lips twitched in annoyance. To come out of this without injury Amatsu would have to think fast. Amatsu raised his blade above his head, at almost the same time he brought it down. The Hollows ivory mask, and his blade met. Rolling his body and his blade over the Hollow mask Amatsu spun rapidly above the Hollow. Glancing down he smiled, Amatsu stabbed his blade down into the Hollows back. Due to the Hollows high speed the blade just sliced right down through the spine. The blood splattered as it disappeared into dust. Amatsu let out a slight yawn as he began his decent. As he did Amatsu noticed three Hollows waiting on him to land upon their claws. It was a dumb move on their part, but it was to expected from a degenerate Hollow. The moment before he was about to land he placed his palm toward the Hollows, "Seki [Repulse]." He said in almost a whisper. As he did a unseen shield formed on Amatsu's palm. Repealing the attack of the Hollows. Their bodies were almost crushed due to them being between this repealing force and the earth...
...Pushing off the shield, Amatsu twisted through the air with a few acrobatic flips before landing just to the left of one of the Hollows that tried to attack him. His blade still in his left hand Amatsu smiled. He rushed the Hollows with at a high rate of speed. Slashing at the first Hollows leg it was severed quickly. Before the blood could land upon Amatsu he had already slashed upward into the Hollow groin. It let out a piercing scream before disintagrating into nothingness. Glancing at the other two Hollow that were still recovering from almost being crush he quickly rushed them also. As he reached on of them he leaped into the air. As he was above the Hollows head, Amatsu began to thrust his blade downward at the Hollows head multiple times. At the same moment he pointed his index finger and his middle finger at the other Hollow. "Byakurai [White Lightning]" He said at the same moment the Hollow below him began to disappear. As the distorted beam of white light hit the Hollows mask, Amatsu placed his hand back at his side. Landing where the Hollows once were he glanced around at his fellow squad members. They were all ok at the moment... [1/20]

[As of now Kuuri will take part of the action happening here. His previous post is to be considered as well.]
Mock was still close to where his fellow Squad members were "landing". Deciding it was best to keep some distance, in order for him to be able to release his powers without having to consider the remaining Shinigamis well being, the Captain continued to move through the "barricade" of beasts.
Archs of blood splatters and body parts flew into the air, among the crowded masses of Hollows, as Mock was making his way through. As dozens of these beast began to, more and more, focus around the Captain, he let his guard down by lowering his nodachi - the edge of the blade was now pointing at the ground.
A sudden and sharp pulse of reiatsu was sent forth from the Shinigami. The surroundings painted indigo. The Hollows were all thrown back into the air, as they were being reduced to dust by the spirit pressure, pushing its way against their masks as they cracked and burst.
MockaDash now kept a safe distance from his subordinates, so they were not affected by the surge of reiatsu - though they would still feel it. What they would witness, would be a large explosion of lavender far away from where they stood, and felt their bodies being buffeted by a strong gale, as the shock wave made its way through the Squad grounds - still throwing Hollows into the air as it did, but now not powerful enough to slay them.
A second wave of Hollows, this time much larger and menacer, approached Mock. Their bodies like giant serpents, crushing debris and raising dust into the air, as they swiftly crawled towards him. It was obvious that the battle was starting to claim some attention from the critters.
The Shinigami raised his Zanpakutou once, above his head, and as he brought it back down in a quick swung, a dark pulsating wave of compressed reiatsu leaked from it. Itsuryu. he said, with tobacco smoke coming out of his nostrils and mouth.
The wave shot forward from the blade as it expanded greatly, and struck all the large Hollows in a single swift blow. They fell down, their bodies as if being pierced by thousands of sharp blades. Their masks disintegrating as they meet the ground with a loud thud, before the bodies vanished as well.
Mock noticed an unfamiliar reiatsu among his Squad members. Turning over to that Shinigami as he watched him battling in the distance, he yelled. You there. Come over here. Now! he ordered with a roar, as his voice echoed through the debris and reached its target, somewhat softer now.
Half a dozen Menos Grandes were now slowly making their way across the ruins of the 13th Squad, throwing entire buildings to the ground.
You'll help me deal with the incoming threats. the Captain said to Kuuri as he approached him.
[UPDATE: Squad 13 members will continue to deal with normal Hollows for a while, as you were doing up until now. Add a couple of giant ones to your posts now,.They should be more powerful and you won't be able to deal with them so easily.
Kuuri, you must come to my side. For now, you'll fight the Menos with me. ]

Yorich's heart was ever-more pulsating. The elephant-sized hollows coming from his right and left should have terrified him, since he had no experience with their kind before, but somehow his drive for revenge and protecting his friends clouded all fear and turned it into raw power. Taking hold of his wakizashi back-handed, he lept atop the closer beast on his right and thrusted the blade into the back of its neck. Wtih a wail of pain and agony, the hollow lost control of itself and flailed in pain. To add to the torment, Yorich sent a wave of reishi through his sword and exploded his power through the hollow's neck, and ripped his sword from his prey.
As the monster crashed to the ground face-first, the dark-skinned shinigami lungged at the other hollow and made a straight cut down its mask, using his reishi again to make the slash explosively fatal.
With both of the hollows defeated, Yorich made his way to another group of smaller hollows about 10 yards away, but looking up he could see a gigantic hollow, though not quite a Menos Grande. It stood almost 40 feet high, with an almost frog-like body and the mask of a geko. Yorich couldn't help but gawk for a minute, but the smaller hollow were already upon him, so he took his sword back into his hand and calmly cut them down with presise timing and aim.
Now it was time for the frog, so with careful planning, he lept atop another one of the elephant-sized hollows near it and used it as a stepping stone to reach the Menos. With a sharp lock on his target, he raised his zanpakuto over his head and jabbed it into the beast's leg.
Such a small sword couldn't possibly harm zis fellow, thought Yorich, so he used his reishi again to make a small burst of energy explode in the beast, but, expectedly, it didn't even flinch eek . I may be in a bit of trouble here, Yorich frowned, and without warning, Yorich slipped off the Menos and landed hard on his back on the elephant-hollow he used earlier. His fall had left him feeling woozy, so there was nothing he could do as the hollow swiped him off his back with its trunk, landing him on the ground. Aww, damn it, zat hurt! mobility was tough, but he somehow managed to rise, and to make sure the hollow didn't have the opportunity for another swipe, Yorich lept back to regroup.Where is Shikai when you need it?

JMan 240 (How come the one person not from our squad gets to help with the cool hollows? >.>) ((First off, because I find it suitable, plot-wise, since his RPC is stronger than the rest of you. Second, there are no such thing as a cool hollow. Everyone will have their chance to fight stronger opponents in this RP. Like I've said in my last post, you were suppose to do just that now. Fight a stronger Hollow - though not yet a Menos. You could've made an IC post instead of an OOC one. Speeding things up, and thus speeding your chance to fight the stronger and cooler - as you say - opponents. And lastly, I have my own motives, which I won't reveal at the moment. ))
