Every year around this time people have many questions about good flysprays.
I just wanted to mention....
Per the directions on the back of the bottle most amounts needed are between 2-6oz.
I have measured out the # of sprays needed to got 2 oz of product. It is about 80 sprays. (It was raining, I was bored. What more can I say? lol)
Do you apply 80 sprays of product? 160? Hmm?

during the summer (and camp) probably. yeah. the flies get horrendous out here. especially in the pastures. so the horses get sprayed down like, every time they're not being ridden in the cross ties, they get sprayed down when the fly spray mister system goes on, and before and after the go to/come from the pastures. but then again, we dont use straight fly spray, we dilute it a bit so that it lasts longer.

I'm anti traditional fly spray, I think that the horse community gets totally ripped off. We pay what? 10 bucks for a bottle and if you're expected to spray the bloody thing 80 times to make it work, it's a waste. I use OFF. Continuous spray so my horses aren't as crazy about being sprayed plus it's cheaper and more effective. Plus unlikely to irritate their skin.

Well my horse is allergic to all types of fly sprays so the vet told us to use that one. sweatdrop
