Ginny got to class just as the bell rang. Apparently Snape didn't like that, for he took off five points from Gryffindor. Other than that, class went very slow, and eventually, it ended and she headed off to the library to write to Tom.

(continued from great hall) luna walked into potions class and took her place by an empty seat. She waited for ginny to come and looked at the front of the class

Ginny walked in and found Luna almost immediately. She walked over to her and sat down in the seat next to Luna.

Ginny was about to respond when Snape walked in. She sighed and knew that she couldn't speak anymore with Luna unless she wanted to get into trouble.

(lol he's my fav techer.) "turn to page 174"Snape talked with a bland tone as always. He thoguht there was no need for expressions in class
Luna took out her book and turned to page 174. throughout the class neither her or ginny spoke a word to each other because they both knew what'd happen

Ginny sighed and turned to page 174 before she could get into trouble. She knew she should pay more attention to what they were doing, but she couldn't help herself. With her feelings toward Harry AND how frightened she was that she had indeed opened the Chamber of Secrets, it was nearly impossible.

Snape raised his right eyebrow and kept looking at ginny "Very good ms.Weasley. I'm surprised you know anything since you skipped..my..class. Detention at 7. No exceptions"he looked away from her and kept teaching again

Ginny was tightening her grip on her wand inside her robes. It was completely unfair that she got a detention for answering a question correctly.

Luna saw ginny was getting mad and she whispered" No ginny you mustn't! Just calm down"
Snape turned to look at luna and ginny. Luna sat up straight pretending nothing ever happened and when he turned away she sank back down
Soon class was done and luna got up and looked at ginny worried. "That was close. And he didn't do it because you answered a question right you know"
