Personaly, I think the voice that funimation used for Kanda is WAAAAAAAY off.
Do you think that Steve Staley (the voice of Neji [from Naruto], Captain Hitsugaya & Shuhei Hisagi {sorry if spelled wrong} [from Bleach], and Kozuki [from Buso Renkin]) could do a better job?
Also, if you think another voice actor could do better, feel free to post it here.

WHAT THE ****!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! YOU PEOPLE ARE TONE DEAF!!!!!!!! I'm sorry, but you are just plain tone deaf if you think Kanda's voice fits him!!!! Try watching the original with English subs & MAYBE you'll see my point.
And come on folks! Start posting already! This topic has no merit if you don't actually post anything on it!

I like Travis Willingham, he did a great job (to me) as Colonel Mustang in FMA, but I think Kanda's not quite the perfect role for him. Then again, I guess dubbed versions of anime rarely are as good as the original. razz
I don't know any of the voice actors you mentioned, but I am a bit disappointed with how most of the DGM character's voices came out. I love Jeryy and Komui's though. XD

Sure, Travis is a good voice actor, but he shouldn't have been given the role of Kanda, in my opinion anyway; and I know for a fact that I'm not alone in that thought.

I love Jeryy and Komui's though. XD Well, in my experience, whenever Viz Media does the English dub of a show the voices are 99.9% of the time dead on the mark. So far, I don't think I've heard a voice in a show that Viz has done yet that doesn't work with the character. I was just listing some of the roles that Steve Staley has played that people would probably be most familiar with.

You do have a valid point though. He sounds waaaaay older than 18. I still say Viz should be doing the English voice overs and that Neji's voice (done by Steve Staley) or one of his other voices, would be PERFECT for Kanda. gonk I still can't belive they pronounce Mugen wrong. gonk I HATE that!!!!!!! scream gonk scream stressed stare
