I ain't the best but I got some ablity with making banners and stuff. Would Widget mind if I made one? Useing pics he chooses of course.

Well, drawing from a source isn't tracing... you're copying, at least elements. But you do have a good eye for things. You should try drawing without a source image. ^^ It'd be a fun exercise for you.
But I wouldn't mind buying Avi art from you. I don't have much gold at the moment, though, but I wouldn't mind seeing you draw my avi. ^^
