Nazar flicked his hair out of his face before sighing softly, he stood above a Gazelle, it wasn't that small. Not to big though, he knew that he had to carry the meal back. He had been traveling with Zuri for a few days now, and they decided to take a break today, but he didn't want to exactly rest. He was hungry and he was pretty sure that Zuri was also hungry so he was catching something for them to share, he hoped that she would like it too.
He leaned down and chomped his jaws around the animal's neck. He heard a small crunch. Then he snarled softly, wanting to make sure that it was dead. He cringed for a moment. Remembering his brother once more. He was hoping that Zuri wouldn't ask him about his past ever, he always had promblems with those questions. He tire dot ingore his flash backs then started to trot back toward where him and Zuri was with the meal hanging from his jaw. She was really good company he was glad of that he would hate to be staying with someone that he didn't like or get along with.

Zuri stretched as she had laid down on the ground watching the clouds making notes of what things they looked like. She yawned, she was debating on looking for a rabbit or something 'cause she didn't know what Nazar had in mind and wasn't about to make him feel like he had to stick around.
Even if he had volunteered to travel with her. She heard a noise off in the distance and rolled her head in that direction seeing a Gazelle hanging from Nazar's mouth she started to chuckle. "Oh well... I half expected you to spend the day by yourself." She rolled over and stood up shaking her fur out.
"Humm Gazelle. Haven't had one of those for a while." She chuckled sitting down, looking at it and tilted her head.

Nazar chuckled softly and smiled more at her, still holding on to the meal. He dropped in in front of her before smiling softly. "I hope you don't mind sharing." He chuckled softly with a nod and a smile on his face. Then he shrugged softly. "I hope you don't mind me wandering..." His voice trailed for a moment before clearing his throat. "I tend to wander away often but I'm never that far, if you need me just call out."
He chuckled softly sitting back on his haunches. "I live off of these things some times." HE chuckled softly once more before leaning down and sniffing the meal. "They are a little easier to catch then some others, I normally catch these, I mean when you live alone for a while you have to learn how to catch something. He chuckled with a wink before giving her a slight bow. "Ladies first." He licked his lips, getting some of the blood off before yawning.

Zuri murred as she sniffed at the Gazelle, "I normally pick off the occasional small Zebra or a rabbit here and there. Tricky things but they're fun to chase."
She grinned at him, "Such a polite Gentlemen." She said cooing before attempting to pull one of the legs off. It took a bit of work but she managed to rip it off before settling down with it pulling the hide away from the meat and lick off any remaining bits.
"Mmm.... so good." She purred as she chomped into it.

Nazar looked at her before laughing softly. "I hate hunting down hares." He lifted his paw off of the ground and carefully licked some of the blood off of the blood off of his paw, making sure to get between his toes and extending his claws, to get some of off of there too, even making sure to get his white spots,he didn't like getting those dirty, he wanted them to be the colored they were supposed to be. He wasn't sure why it bothered him if they weren't So while she started the meal he kept himself busy that way.
"Ah. Thank you Zuri but you make me look so much more sweet then I am." He laughed softly before he looked at her with a a smile growing on his lips. "Besides it is near impossible to be as sweet as yourself." He winked at her for a moment before stretching her claws some and letting out a yawn then leaning over and ripping off some of the meat, chewing it quickly and swallowing it down. He looked at her then yawned softly. "So where are we going to start heading later?" He asked before leaning back down and chewing at some more of the meat, trying to be as clean as he could while he ate.

She chuckled, "Aw, you get to scare them to death then you can eat." She grinned. She watched him as she ate the meat off the leg tail flickering happily.
She looked around and shrugged softly, "Well I'm not sure what's where. I know I've heard to say away from the firekin less you want to be slaves." Her tail twitched in thought as she kept cleaning the meat off the bone.

Nazar let out a large laugh at the idea, grinning a he did. "Well that does sound like fun. I normally just kill them, I never thought of the whole scaring them." He laughed again then shook his head winking at her playfully. "I'll have to give that a try, you surprise me, what other kind of things do you do?" He chuckled softly then yawned.
"I've heard of the firekin." He said before leaning back into the meal then grabbing a bone with a piece of meat. Poisoning himself so he could snap it off. That is what he did, he laid down pulling it closer to him setting it on is legs and gnawing at the meat hungrily. "I might be able to fit in a little better then you would." He chuckled looking down at his coat. He knew that he had the better coat color then she did, he had heard that they let in more blacks reds and whites, that was all that Nazar was. He loved his colors. He'd be safe at least, However he didn't know that some day he would end up there one day in the future.

Zuri finished off the meat from the leg she'd been eating. She pushed the bones off to the side and pulled off another of the legs leaving the rest as she ate her fill of that.
"I watch the clouds and find shapes in them. Which is likely not a past time you'd like." Her tail flickered as she chewed on the meat. She looked at him with her head tilted, "One of them stole a cub from our lands." She said softly her tail flickered. "I think that's what killed Mufasa as well."
She nibbled at the meat, "Hopefully you won't be one of the mean ones." Her tail flickered again. Licking at the meat on the new leg bone.

Nazar looked at her before chuckling chomping off more of the meat off of the bone, eating the rest of it off before gnawing on the bone, also reaching over and eating a little more of the meat. He knew it was good to eat as much as he could when traveling. It wasn't good to travel on a empty stomach. He knew that for a fact.
"Ah! You would be surprised. I watch the clouds some times. Mainly when its dark or getting darker out. Its always a nice time to watch some of them." He chuckled softly before flicking his hair out of his eyes. "Its a good thing to do when you are bored or when you need to relax." He used to do that often with his ex mate... Those were some of the better times that he had with her. HE missed those times a lot but some times he spent it with others, he was currently spending his time with Zuri, she was very sweet.
"Thats really not good. I heard that some of them are really nice. I don't know. If I do I won't be doing all of that... I'm not nice all the time... I've done... somethings in my past that might be worse than what any firekin could do... But I don't do anything like that anymore." Well... he did but he wouldn't do it anymore. No, he tried to control himself these days.

Zuri looked at him slightly confused and slightly curious but she let it all slide. Her tail flickered as she continued to lick at the bone in her paws.
"So do you know any of the areas near by or are there not that many prides?" Her tail flickered with her curiosity about the surrounding areas. She wanted to see someplace pretty, possibly exotic but mainly she was just happy to be away from the pride lands and feeling like she'd managed to eventually find her mother.

Nazar could see the curiosity in her look. He watched her slightly as he continued to gnaw on her bone. He purred quietly before gnawing a little harder at the bone, trying his hardest to distract himself hoping that she wasn't going to ask any questions about what he was talking about or what happened in his past, he was glad that she had never asked any questions like that Very happy. But he was sure that one day she was going to ask. He wasn't going to answer. Why? He didn't want her to run away, he had a friend right now he was glad that.
"I really don't know the area or if there is anyone around." He laughed nervously before shuffling his paws once more tossing the bone to the side and then went to work and cleaning his paws once more, this time getting the fresh blood off of him. "I know some of the pride, or well I've heard of them I'm just not that sure of where exactly they are." He chuckled softly before flicking his tail around again then chuckling. "But I don't think that many of them are that bad. I know there are some prides that are but they have clues of telling you your getting closer, like jungles and stuff." He looked at her with a nod before stretching out some. "Do you want to leave soon or rest a bit before we go?" He asked wanting to make sure that they weren't leaving when she wasn't ready. He normally rested after eating and before he started traveling once more

She chuckled and stretched nipping off one more peice of meat from the actual animal he had caught and then sat to look around while cleaning her paws. "I think waiting a bit would be best. I hardly doubt one would want to travel on a completely full stomach. However finding a watering hole after a while be nice."
She nodded and then sat back to cleaning her paws and her face. Tail flickering happily. "What'll we do with the left overs?" She said nodding at the carcass seeing some meat left over. She knew her pride never liked lions being wasteful.

Nazar looked at her smiling softly he flicked his tail around for a moment before licking his maw a few times. "Well we could rest some then head to a watering hole before we really get going. I think there is a jungle not that far off from here that we could check out, its really cool I wandered by it before and it really looked cool." He chuckled again before stretching out some and finished his paws. "Unless you want to hit the watering hole first."
He chuckled standing up and moving to her side, leaning over and resting his head on her neck, nipping at her ears gently before looking closing his eyes for a moment, then glancing at the kill. "We could leave it, I saw a small group of jackals around here, they've been hiding since we got here but because we somewhat invaded their area, it'd be nice if we atleast left them something to eat." He laughed softly closing his eyes once more to relax slightly

Zuri nodded softly thinking about what he said, "Well if the jungle's likely to have water lets go there after we rest a bit."
She looked around and a slight blush crept across her face when he rested his head on her neck. She flicked her hear slightly and smiled, "Oh well as long as it doesn't go to waste." She said with a nod."
She gave a slight yawn but was able to stiffle most of it.

Nazar looked at her before nodding softly. "Yes I'm pretty sure that they have water there in the jungle, he chuckled softly closing his eyes a little more. "Of course it won't." Then he chuckled softly before licking her ears. "Get some rest, you seem tired hun." He smiled softly to her before looking around, he was a little tired but he knew he could stay up. "I'll keep an eye out." He chuckled softly again before looking around then resting his head on her neck once more
