i was also thinking that if there were people with my kind of patience (i.e. none) that other artists could start shops in this guild too so that those people could buy art from other sources.. and stuff. so artists feel free to set up shop!

Crew really doesn't do much. I'm crew in one guild and vice in another. And I do, like, nothing. xD
I don't know if the Freebie guild is running at the moment. The owner is in Iraq fighting, last time I checked. I don't know when he's going to be back. And it tends to take a while for the good artists to reply. It's totally worth it though.
There's an entry fee, but I don't remember what it is.
