Appearance : Long red-brown hair she usually keeps tied up so it doesn’t get in her eyes when she’s reading or drawing. She has bluish-grey eyes with amber around the pupil. Olive toned skin, though tan when she’s been in the sun enough—though she really doesn’t like to go out when it’s sunny. Of average height. She doesn’t follow fashion, but rather simplistic. Her clothes can be mixed and matched with each other and not look bad, but only because they’re ridiculously plain. Colors tend to be neutral, natural and reds. The only thing she’s obsessive about is for her clothes to have plenty of useful pockets and no skirts.
Personality : She’s silent, though not shy. She can be expressive around people she knows, but will hold her tongue when she doesn’t know said person. She is very intuitive and empathic and her first impressions tend to be spot-on, but she still doesn’t go ahead and judge people prematurely. She’s mostly antisocial, introversive and you’d better comply when she says she wishes to be left alone.
Alva is artistic in many ways and very determined, and believes she should develop her skills as far as she can, even if she won’t really be using them.
But she’s also very doting on her friends, always there when they need help and care and has a way to force them into doing things they don’t want to, but is good for them, without using physical force—though she will use if need or provoked. But she’s not one to go out of her way for anyone when she’s not in the mood.
She loves and seems to have quite a way with nature, though she’s more of a vesper person than a day or night person. But if allowed, she will sleep all day and work by night. When it’s quiet and she may do as she wishes without someone throwing an unnecessary comment in the mix.
One of her problems is that she’s brutally honest, which annoys and sometimes offends people—which she knows and admits, but won’t change.
She follows her instincts and is usually right to.
She usually likes to be or doesn’t mind being alone.
The single thing she genuinely dislikes is children—she thinks they’re loud and annoying and never leave you in peace, and it’s a waste of patience to have any. Though she doesn’t mind taking care of others' children, she wouldn’t put up with one for more than forty-eight straight hours.
After that, it’s any type of extreme fanatic.

History : She was most attached to her father, but then he left and she no longer had someone to talk to, express herself to and support her ambitions. Her mother fell into depression and was no help to the child. So the little girl basically raised herself, so to speak. Since the mother wasn’t exactly there to implant her beliefs into the girl’s mind. Alva decided her values and morals alone. But then they went to live with the mother’s parents, who were good and wise. Still, she found them rather close minded.
Alva was never good at making friends, but when she decided on something and her mother complied, she found it was the best choice. She moved and made new friends, more with every move the young girl requested. Then she began to speak more freely and express herself. Still, she valued her privacy and spent most of her time alone in a corner or some other out-of-the-way place she could be with herself.
She began to notice that her ramblings were no longer with herself that someone was speaking back and giving opinions. Thanks to her intuitiveness, she quickly figured out what it was. She knew her mother wouldn’t like it, she decided to move once again—away from her family.
On her journeys, she happened upon someone who knew where she should go.
