Well, ya funny-faced fellows, I understand I could do a little better with the guild. If there's anything you can think of that I could do to improve the guild, make it more inviting, attract more members, or make it more interesting, feel free to post it here, unless it fits better in another forum. Thanks for your input.

oooo You know what would be really cool? Have the image on the home past a random image code, a different image each time the page is refreshed. Even the image will be mysterious.
Also, I know that enough people say it their own way, but to be a forum is the name of the list of threads, a thread is the place you go to see the individual posts, and a post is one person's speech bubble with text in it. A Subforum is a title of a forum, that you can get to most simply by being on a forum page(list of threads). (In the other thread you mentioned creating a suggestions forum, not thread. Yes, this is one of the seemingly random words that I get nit picky about. Notable others are 'literate' and 'myth'.)

Yeah, that first bit sounds familiar. I still don't know how to do it.
Also, a forum is a place where all are open to come and share their opinion.
A thread is something you use to mend shirts and stitch zombies together.

Detective Tracer Bullet Yeah, that first bit sounds familiar. I still don't know how to do it. Also, a forum is a place where all are open to come and share their opinion. A thread is something you use to mend shirts and stitch zombies together. Your thread pun makes me feel better about my borderline- Gaia illiteracy. Thank you. My Suggestion: in the rules, call yourself the Chief of Police or the like, instead of Captain. Or you could be Lieutenant Guild!! (He's the main cop in a few of the Thin Man flicks).

Why thank you much, darlin'.
I love a good pun, and I hate a wrong gee who's gonna tell me what'a do and how t' say it.
I didn't think it was that good, but it was better than listening to Saire put me down in my own guild.

Back-handed compliment? Yeah, I don't like to be negative about other people's work. (Like some people, cough.) Although it's been noted that I know nothing of how to set up a forum or a guild. But who cares? It's been proven that a truly great gumshoe never follows the rules.

I try not to hand out complements often.
The last one I handed out was to a bud, and it was that he might have potential to not be an idiot.
Complements soften you up too much, dame. Mark those words. With a sharpie.
Okay, enough jabbering. I need to set up more forums.

Mr. Detective Bullet, sir, I have a suggestion. I think you should get a banner. I don't know if you are looking for one are not. If you are looking for one and don't want to do it your self, I suggest you go to Dream Cloud Banner Shoppe. It is the one I went to for the banners for my guild. t o k i o KAULITZ does good work and for a good price.

Thank you, Geek. I've been looking for one, and recently have started making one myself. I'll check this place out, though.

Sen has a suggestion!
I saw that Cassanovella suggested a PI collab for the subforum (awesome idea), and it occured to me that we could maybe have contests. Write the perfect murder, come up with ways to solve someone's 'perfect' murder, write about a case, etc etc....I dunno, it's just a thought.

I know not the name for the city, But I know what you need in it:
The man in the black coat and black-ribboned fedora The Inn The Dark Alleyway (1, 2, and 3) The Bank The Detective Office Apartment Building 804 The Slumlord and his run-down building The Successful Buisnessman The Shady Nightclub Three Nightclubs involved in some bad stuff The dealers "Mr. Alex Turnby", the shifty conman The Street. (the shady one) A Main Avenue The Crime Scene The police. (some must be corrupt, some are not) The Police Station "Rat" Digman, the long nosed peddler of stolen goods The Crazy Religious Neighbor, a man who preaches loudly in the middle of the street and rants about religion- driven crazy by the crime of the city A minor thievery gang The gigantic and powerful gang that takes care of all citizen's garbage and does some shady stuff. (I'm serious. They actually did that. Probably to leave no evidence for certain crimes?)
