A natural function of a living mammal for when it wishes to regulate its body temperature is to secrete water and other bodily fluids through the pores of the living embodiment's skin. By having the moisture evaporate, it leaves the being feeling refreshed. What is this process called? Perspiration. Most humans find this "sexually appealing"; as dainty females seem to find bulky men glistening with their own bodily droplets manly. However, some females find this disgusting. Heck, they find that their own selves sweating and being covered in their own sweat is downright filthy. Messa would count as one of those females. Katarina had been hit with a difficult heat wave that it wasn't going to recover from anytime soon.
This had caused the town to seem practically deserted, most owners of Pokemon heading for cool areas to survive the burning weather. Messa had been out on duty, patrolling the town in case their happened to be any trouble being caused. However, the worst crime that would be happening on this day is a Murkrow stealing a bottle of water to soothe its near death trainer from the heat. Threading along, the blond Ranger couldn't take it anymore. Tugging at her hair roots, she screamed into the air, "Damn it, why can't it just rain to end this terrible weather!"
Kiru, her partner, just grunted. She had it easy, as she held wheat colored hair and light clothing to march around in. He was clad head to toe in fur. Plus, patches of his body were black. Those areas seemed to burn the most, since black is not an enemy of heat. As Messa sighed in discontent, inspiration suddenly struck her. Literally grabbing her Ursaring and pushing, she hollered in excitement, "To the port, to the beach! To SALVATION!"
To the two's chagrin in reaching the beach, they came to see it was packed. Men with overbellies and women with underbellies trotted around in stripped suits as siblings and sour lovers alike splashed water on each other. Messa sighed. Could their day be any worse? Undressing from her Ranger outfit and into a floral bikini, she ventured through the groups of people to look for an area to find relaxation. However, everywhere she went seemed to be took or taken. Not taking it anymore, she traveled more down the beach to an enclosed area. The area was pretty rocky, but practically deserted. Wedged into the sand with a slight slant was a crudely painted picture of a blue headed squid thing with an arrow pointed towards the beached area. Messa blinked at the sign, but smiled crookedly. "Ah, whatever." she said, brushing off the warning. "C'mon Kiru, let's go for a swim!"
Kiru was not fond of the water, so he stayed on shore. Nestled under the shade of a rather large beach umbrella, the only thing the Pandaring could think of was sleep. Messa was busy splashing around in the water, toddling about in the cool waves of the ocean. She called out several times for the Ursaring to join her, but he just blatantly ignored her. Messa sighed. "Ah whatever." she said aloud. "I can just swim alone...!" But she didn't know how far from the truth she was.
There was company in the water, watching her all the while she had decided to enter into its domain. It didn't seem to be bothered by the company, but more interested. It hadn't got close, until now. As Messa threaded water, it attacked! Slipping its slimly tentacles under the straps of Messa under bikini top, it pulled and jetted away. Messa screamed. Such a scream, that is nearly awoke Kiru. Nearly. The mischevious enemy that stole Messa's top was a Tentacool. It seemed to be interested in the article of clothing Messa had on. So interested, it decided to wear her floral bikini as a head blob hat. As Messa screamed and screamed, she caught sight of the evil doer. She cursed at it violently and snatched after it, but it just swam away.
Now Messa was stuck with an ordeal. She couldn't leave the water...seeing as she was bare naked from the chest up. She couldn't call for Kiru, he was out cold. What could she do? The Ranger just there, waiting. Her fingers were already getting like prunes. Whimpering with dismay, the Ranger cried out the only word she thought would really get someone's attention:
"Help!"

Being a new ranger to the whole island, Logan had to admit when he hit the town that the only thing he wanted to do is to take the next boat out and go back home. He gave a sigh of relief when a cool wind suddenly struck him as a large pidgeot swooped down near him. A smile played on his lips as he watched the large bird land heavily upon a a tree and whistle happily at him. He gotten lucky when he met the strange healer and when songwriter had decided to go with the ranger instead, the healer had been pleasantly surprise and more then willing to released the bird to him.
Logan, at first, had thought there was must of had been something wrong with the bird, but eventually he got over it and resign himself to it just being his lucky break. He close his eyes and enjoy the breeze black-chested avian whipped up with his wings. "Alright, alright. That's enough, Writer, we should get going." He laughed and started walking again.
"Oi, its just too hot!" The ranger with his red hair in a french braid yelled out. "This is ridicules." He heard a whistle and looked up to see Writer flaying in circles and pointing towards the beach. "Well, it couldn't hurt to go cool off in sea...." He follow the pidgeot towards the beach, unknowing the pidgeot had meant to point out that he spotted someone in trouble.
Soon, the human seemed disappointed at the amount of people there. "Writer, I think we are better off finding us a lake or a shower!" A yelp escaped him when Songwriter dived down and made a fake attempt to clutch at his shoulders with his tallons. "What is up with you?!" The bird once again pointed, this time towards the rocky part of the beach.
Sighing, Logan went along, wondering what it could be. The first thing he spotted was the furball of white and black under teh umbrella. "....the hell?" Songwriter hover over his head, clutch his braid and made him looked towards the ocean, where there was a girl. "Oh." He walked to shore. "Is everything alright, miss?"

Messa waved towards the other, her other arm wrapped around her bosom in protection. "Err..." she began, voice croaking in thought on how to tell the other of her misfortune. "I d-do need help...!" she said, though it was quite apparent since she was hollering her lungs off for assistance before. Pointing towards the water, she really did not know how to explain her ordeal. Rather, she summed it up the best she can through gestures and illegible croaks. "Err..S-Spalsh...Splash...Yoink! Cooooooooool...Head Blob! Errrr....Steal!"
Messa had gone more out to see, so water was swarming up to her chin. She certainly wasn't drowning though her speech did seem as though she was going crazy. Kiru tossed in his sleep, his belly jiggling with every movement he made. Blinking her green eyes, Messa was too embarrassed to explain her trouble. She was much like her brother, in stupidity and explanation.

Logan gave a blank stare at what he was hearing. "Did she drank sea water or something? The woman sounds delirious!" He yelped when a rock hit his back. "Writer!" He blinked when he looked at rock and moved it asside to see the warning sign. "......."
He only bother taking off his shoes and socks, taking the rope off his belt, he threw one end of the pidgeot before running into the water and starting moving towards Messa.

Messa kneaded the water beneath her as the current lightly simmered beneath the hot sun above. Panic was growing in her and she was deeply terrified. She was not worried for her savior, no, but for her bottom. Her top was already ripped from her...hopefully nothing worse would occur!
Ver bobbed about, directly beneath Messa before noticing a moving figure towards her. He swam towards it and tried to straddle himself onto the mover's leg, aiming his tentacle for the Ekans that should never see daylight.

[ignore the fact that he now has two arms instead of one XD]
Logan continuo swimming towards Messa, quiet puzzle still on what was her problem. He hadn't really understand the warning sign. Moving forward, he ignore something brushing against his leg as being just some sea weed, it wasn't until he felt something that definetly wasn't sea weed run up his short's leg to a place such thing shouldn't go!
"AAAH!" He kicked his legs and tried to push whatever it was away.
