Satine looked down at Schmee after Birman had left, doing everything he could. She carefully pulled Schmee's arms over her back and held them iinfront of her. "Its ok dear i'll take care of you. Just relax." she said with a smile as she looked over her shoulder at Schmee's sleeping face. Satine felt better about what had happened to Schmee if she talked to her. She didn't like that someone she was starting to get really close to had been hurt. She stood up slowly balancing Schmee's weight on her back carefully as she walked off slowly looking for a nice place they could rest and sleep, but someplace close to water and hunting grounds if Schmee didn't want fish. "Where to my darling?" she said more to herself then to the sleeping Schmee.
(I hope this is a good opening to Satine taking care of her after the fight <3 )

Birman nodded to Satine as she picked up Schmee. "I'm glad Schmee has you to count as a friend, not many would want the responsibility to care for another." He pulled a vial of salve out of his bag to give to Satine, "put this on her scar everyday, I'll come by and check on her from time to time, if you don't mind."
Schmee slipped in and out of consciousness as she was carried, it was an odd feeling being carried. She couldn't recall ever being carried before. but the back that supported her was strong and smelled nice. She felt safe and that was all that seemed to matter. She tried to speak at one point but didn't seem to have the air to do it and just sighed and fell asleep again. She managed to purr softly in her sleep knowing everything was okay once more, even if she couldn't speak yet.

Satine Smiled at Birman and nodded. "Yes that would be nice. I'll be in the forest near the river." she said as she carefully took the vial and slid it into her cleavage, it being the only place she could really put anything. She looked around again and carefully set off into the woods. She soon found a river and followed it up till she found a nice sheltered spot, preferably with a large hole in the base of it to rest in out of the weather. She soon found a large willow tree that had a nook in the base that would provide lots of cover. She walked over to the tree and got down and rolled Schmee over her side onto the ground. "Its ok now darling. I'll get some moss for your head." She said as she took off around the tree swiftly to gather moss to make Schmee more comfortable. She came back and placed the fluffy moss under her head and sat next to her, watching Schmee hoping that she would come around soon. She pushed some hair out of Schmee's face and hummed softly trying to keep her spirit up for Schmee to come around soon.

Schmee's breathing was shallow but not labored anymore her well trained body was over coming the shock and working hard to right itself, but her stomach felt sour and she didn't want to move much.
Her eyes fluttered open as Satine placed the moss under her head and she mouth a "Thank you" to Satine as she sat humming a soft tune.
Schmee grabbed a couple blades of sweet grass and started chewing them to calm her tummy. Her head was starting to pound now, she tried to make herself breath deeper for more oxygen but it stung and she started coughing up a bit of blood.

Satine gasped a little. "No, no! Slow smooth breaths baby." She said a she used some moss to wipe the blood off her face. "Don't take too deep of a breath yet hun." she said as she took out the ointment and rubbed a little on the wound on Schmee's chest. She jumped up and found a leaf and filled it with a little water from the stream next to them. She brought it over and held it next to Schmee. "Rinse your mouth and spit then if you think you can drink something i'll get you more." she said softly hoping that Schmee was hearing her alright.

Schmee's eyes were having trouble focusing, all she could really see were Satine's hands as they treated her. She swished the water around her mouth slowly, and leaned forward to spit. As she leaned back she felt a heaviness push down on her chest. "Why does my blood feel so thick" She rasied her hand to her heart and let her fingers rest on her scar "Ahh, the poison...." Her voice wasn't even a whisper, she was more talking to herself then anyone else. She turned her head to wear she saw the pair of hands that cared for her and reach out and touched one. "Thank you,...*wheeze* I really *wheeze* appreciate *wheeze* your help" She tried to be loud enough to hear, but her voice sounded so frail and her throat burned, it made her feel a bit uneasy and she lay down on her moss pillow again "more...water" She closed her eyes and started to assess her body to find what was working fine and what was not.

Satine chewed on her lips a little as she worried over Schmee. In a few quick bounds she was back at the river getting more water. She came back with it and slowly poured the water into her mouth. "Easy hun. Don't move too much, it might spread back. Just be still and let me take care of you." She said as she felt her head to make sure she wasn't getting hot. She didn't like the sound of her voice and hoped that the water would make it better. She would have to keep her talking down to a minimum so that she didn't hurt her lungs or cough up more blood. "Would you like some more water?" she asked after making sure she had the water down ok.

Luckily Schmee didn't have a fever at least not yet. She was still a long way from being well enough to fight one if it arose suddenly. the water was cool and refreshing, the coolness seemed to flow all over her body. She nodded quietly with asked if she wanted more. as the coolness of the water spread though her it was almost like it was tinning her blood as she rehydrate herself. 'Thank god you are with me' She tried to convey her though with a weak smile.

Satine smiled at Schmee and quickly got some more water for her. She came back and sat next to her, keeping her hair out of her face as she gave her some more water. "Do you need any thing else?" she asked. She wondered how she would help her if she had to go potty but she would get there sooner or later and deal with how to work that out then. She lay down next to Schmee to keep her warm as it got darker.

Schmee was much relieve to have the water and a heavy sleep was pulling at her eye lids. "Thank you I'm good" she mouthed as a reply, the fire in her throat had been put out and her body was longing for rest. as Satine lay beside her, Schmee felt comfortable enough to let her body drift into a dreamless sleep. While asleep Schmee put an arm around Staine and pulled her close then relaxed her arm around Satine's waist.

Satine was too worried and full of adrenaline still to sleep. She looked down at Schmee as she fell into a nice sleep. She was breathing better and seemed to feel better but Satine was still worried about losing her. She couldn't old back as tears filled her eyes and fell silently. She pushed Schmee's hair back and made sure that the way she was sleeping wasn't causing anything to happen to the wound on her chest. She wondered why she could be having such feelings for someone she didn't know that well but was starting to think that maybe...maybe she wanted this female in her life...and wanted her to live and never leave her.

Sleeping deeply Schmee breathed in Satine's scent, it was familiar to her, but her mind was slow, it took it a while to match it with Satine, 'Why is Satine caring for me? Where is Birman? ...I hate looking weak to cats I barely know?' Then the saltly smell of tears rose in her nose. 'Why is she crying? Did she get hurt too?' Schmee's eyes openedslowly blinking a could times, before she was able to see Satine's face. It was really close, then Schmee realized she was the one holding her there. She quickly pulled her hand away and looked back at Satine's face. 'She looks unharmed. Was she crying because I was holding her?' "Sorry," She whispered "I didn't mean too." Her voice was already sounding a little bit better.

Satine tried not to look sad as Schmee pulled away. "Oh don't worry. Its ok...I want you to be comfortable." she said drying her eyes. She hoped that in her dazed state she hadn't noticed them though. She didn't know this female very well yet...she should be crying over her but she just felt so connected already that it was hard to hold back when she saw her like this. "Can i get you anything?" she asked sitting up wanting to make her comfortable again if she wanted to go back to sleep, not snuggling with someone she didn't know well.

"Are you okay?" Schmee totally misunderstanding Satine's action. Thinking Satine was really uncomfortable being so close to Schmee that she know just wanted to get away. "You don't have to stay with me, if you find Birman, he can I'm sure." Schmee dropped her gaze and lay back down. "I'm sorry, I don't want you to have to feel like I'm a burden on you." Schmee hated herself for being weak right now, it was not like her to be the one to be cared for.

Satine gasped as she spoke. "No! No no thats not it at all. I thought you were uncomfortable having me next to you." she looked at Schmee and scooted a little closer. "And i don't want anyone else to take care of you...I'm doing it just fine and i wanted to." She said looking at the ground a little embaressed. "I...don't want anything else to happen to you so...i'm here helping you...cause i..." she reddened a little more as she glanced at Schmee and pulled her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. She didn't know how to tell Schmee that she liked her...or what would happen if she did.
