✤All the lovely mature (at least in body) ladies, ranging anywhere from the kind imaginative princess to the tormented Vixen sorceress.
✤If at any point you need to locate a specific character on this page or one of the following you can use the find feature embedded in most browsers to search the page for the character. (These instructions are only for PC users as I am not aware if Macs would have to use different keys to produce the same result.) Instructions:
1) On your keyboard hold down Control and then the f key. (CTRL + F) This should bring up a search prompt in your browser.
2) Into the prompt type "Find" and then the characters name with no spaces. (IE: Findmaura)
-This should bring you directly to the post containing that characters bio. (But only if they characters bio is on the page your searching. If nothing pops up then try the next page in the thread. If this still doesn't work contact me. Something may have been entered in wrong.)

In-depth personality-Maura is somewhat irritable, with a strong sense of loyalty. She has a tendency to take things on unnecessarily and then feel like she's only one who can carry it out. She always tries to play lone wolf, seeing as she has no desire to drag others into her own problems. She puts up a front, intending to come across fearless, when she's really quaking in her boots. As a result of which she often gets herself in over her head, and claws her way out through sheer will-power and luck. She's not a complete hard a** all the time though. She does have feelings like anyone else, and they do become conflicted from time to time. She rarely lets them show to others though, preferring once again to keep others out of her business.Physical descriptionMaura is lean, and toned, but not overly thin. She has a tan complexion due to ethnicity and prolonged sun exposure. Her eyes are lavender, and her fur is white tipped with gray. Her hair is black and ranges anywhere from bob-length and short to mid-way down her back depending on what outfit you're depicting her in. (Please keep this in mind. If your drawing her in her winter garb her hair can be shorter, but if your drawing her in her skirt and corset her hair MUST be mid-way down her back. Brief history-In terms of her past, That gauntlet on her arm is linked directly to her soul. It gives her a great deal of power anytime she needs it. But she has to keep it charged, which means feeding it souls in some form. Otherwise it will start to draw off of her own and shorten her lifespan dramatically. Also if she tries to remove it by force it will literally rip her soul from her body. Because of its power she's pursued endlessly for it. (Though it was never her choice to have the damned thing in the first place.) The main goal of her storyline is finding a way to remove it that wont kill her, and the others she meets with similar relics. As well as searching for a way to bring the person she loves back to life. Characters transformation-Maura starts out closed off, and cold.She's no ones friend, and nobody can be trusted, but inside she's trembling. She doesn't feel nearly as strong as she comes across, and she's lonely. She's also reckless, often getting herself hurt or into bad situations. As she meets others in the same boat as her, and is suddenly responsible for more then her own well-being she begins to feel that responsibility. And she feels it hard. She's forced to reconsider her tactics, and suffer the consequences when she acts without thinking. Slowly her outlook changes, she becomes less focused on herself, and redirects her energies toward helping her new friends fight the very war she'd been running from her entire life. Character relationships/ Family
-Dante Their relationship starts out hostile, but after they are forced to work together, and save each others asses they start to grow on each other. Dante fell for Maura first, whereas Maura didn't really realize her feelings for Dante until after he was killed. And his soul sucked into her Gauntlet. After that point she searches desperately for a way to bring him back to life, and sever herself from the gauntlet , that won't kill her and forfeit Dante's soul.
-Wolfe Like with Dante, in the beginning their relationship was hostile at best. Wolfe showed up with shady motives that she never quite made clear, and the two were constantly at each others throats. Despite they're open hostility toward each other they they were both attracted to the other, and inevitably they grew to be friends, and even harbor feelings for each other that never quite seemed to pan out. This often left Maura feeling conflicted. She was driven and feeling responsible for bringing Dante back, but she started to wonder if her feelings for him weren't what she thought, or if being around Wolfe was causing a bias. There have been several points where she and Wolfe have been turned against each other, or forced to fight each other against their will.
-Swiftpaw Maura looks upon Swiftpaw as a surrogate mother. Since her own "mother" Is long gone at the point where the two meet, and Swift practically takes her under her wing. They're relationship only strengthens after Dante's death, when Maura confesses her feelings for Him to Swift (Who just so happens to be Dante's Mother.) After she starts to fall for Wolfe, she begins to feel guilty and like the bond between Swiftpaw and herself is beginning to strain, and wear under the weight of her conflicted feelings.
Archer Archer is actually her blood brother, though at first neither is aware of the fact. Archer was raised the heir to an entire civilization. Maura was raised in secret in a small town about a weeks carriage ride away. When Maura was about three years old (Archer, 10) the royal family was slaughtered, and archer the only heir was supposedly killed with them. After that point he traveled with Swiftpaw and her friends for awhile, and then was deposited in a small town where he was raised by a the weapon smith, and taught in his craft. Maura and Archer neither like or dislike each other, though Maura does have the opinion that Archer is a pansy a** little rich boy, which may not be entirely far from the truth. She is completely unforgiving of his wish not to succeed the throne, and feels that he should do so to restore order in his kingdom, and remove Fafnir from his seat of power.
-Fafnir, and Kaguya These two are the main antagonists in Maura's storyline, and Maura's greatest hindrance in her little quest. Kaguya had always manipulated her into believing that she was a friend, before revealing her true nature, and Fafnir had always been a formidable force with which Maura could not face alone, though it isn't as if she never tried. Both of them are interested in her heirloom, and Dante, and actually help her in her goal of Reviving him only because they want to get a hold of his vast, untapped power.
