Father and daughter on the great black stretch. They where traveling to some fancy event in Durem, for hula show for Marcy. Her father Gabriel was singing and making a fool out himself as she tried to mimic a dance move in her seat. Gabriel got sick of 'I spy with my little eye' so this was the best way to keep entertained.
As they drove along, Gabriel noticed that the cars clock was running a bit slow , but thought nothing of it " just something I will have to fix later". A few minutes later Marcy was trying to roll down her window but the window was moving really slow , she also thought nothing of it. This could be due to her DNA.
Soon all the cars electrical devices where malfunctioning and it was apparent that something was going on or wrong. It wasn't long before the car started to slow down then finally it came to a complete halt. Gabriel drove to the side before the car stopped.
Marcy looked up at her dad with big eyes " What are we going to do?" she asked with no whine or complaint.
Gabriel turned to her " I have no idea , this isn't like when the car just needs a jump" he said with concern. They also been driving for hours and saw no one on the road , so this worried Gabriel. " I guess we wait for someone to help us" he moved his shoulders up and sat on the car.
Marcy smiled " Well it could be worse right , papa" she said with a cute smile. She practiced some foot work on the side of road.
It was a good hour and half before they saw what looked to be a car, coming close to them in the far distance . It just looked a like a sparkle , you could say a sparkle of hope.

Up ahead there was indeed a car cruising down the long stretch of road. Dominic was looking increasingly tired by the day since he had gotten Izzy. The man hadn't been expecting such a bundle of energy. He was nothing like Dane was as a tot.
The man had been taking a long drive to try and calm the boys nerves down. Dane had been gone most of the day so the little guy had nothing to do and no one to play with, meaning a lot of pent up energy. Car rides usually calmed him down if only a little.
The boy had just stopped unbuckling himself and began to settle down as the pair spotted the car down the road. Just like that the child was back to his energetic self, "Whas' that daddy?" Isaac said anxiously twisting this way and that to try and see the car better.
"Looks like some one having car trouble," Dominic replied to the boy knowing that would only open up a whole new line of questioning.
"Car troubl'?" "Who 's it?" "We know th'm?" "They play?" He asked bouncing up and down in his car seat.
Dominic learned it was best to let him work the questions out of his system rather than answer them. The man pulled the car off to the shoulder to see if the other driver needed some help.

Gabriel walked over to the car assuming he was there to help " I would like to say your the first to stop in hours ... but your truely the first person we have seen in hours" Gabriel chuckled. Trying to lighten up the mood.
Marcy looked over to the boy in the car and waved , she smiled and winked at him. Then she looked over to the guardian " Its ok , I got to practice all my steps out here"
Between eating and dancing Marcy didn't really notice the time much. Gabriel didn't munch on much , since he knew what would happen if Marcy ran out of food and that was not good. He was also worried he was going too miss Marcie's event.

Dominic looked at the stranded man as he rolled down his window and he explained their situation, "Well, then good thing we stopped by then," the blonde man said opening the door and stepping out, "Know what's wrong with your car, need a jump?" He inquired looking over to the other vehicle.
Once his dad got out of the car Izzy started to squirm around in his car seat. He wanted to get out too! He wanted to see these two new people. His four arms went about trying to work off the buckles from the seat belts that seemed to be all over him, blasted car seat.

Gabriel wished all he needed was a jump , but it was the cars electric system that wasn't working. He probably needed a new alternator. Gabriel smiled " we can try that but I think its the alternator , so its probly not going to work".
Marcy smiled at the boy he really seemed to be struggling she wanted to go sit with him , she felt a calling to him.
Gabriel looked at the man kind of worried " So do you want to try to jump it , or should I call someone to come look at it"? His phone also wasn't working it might of been the area so he was hoping the man had a working phone.

Dominic looked at the other mans car contemplatively, "It's up to you, I've got a cell if you wanted to call for a tow. If you think it's the alternator though there isn't much reason to try and jump it though," He agreed pulling his phone out of his pocket.
Izzy was even more restless now that some one was paying attention to him. The boy struggled more all four hands trying vigorously to unclasp the belt buckles. Eventually he got on undone and once that one was undone the rest came quickly and he scrambled out of the car after climbing to the open door in the front seat.
"Izzy! How'd you get out?" Dominic called out dashing over and scooping up the boy before he could make a dash over to the girl. The boy squirmed again once he was captured.
"Sorry," Dominic said, "Izzy is a little pent up from being in the car so long," He explained.

Gabriel fully understood " I have boy who does the same thing , hes like a ball of energy" he stated. He walked over to his car door. It was wide open since he was worried if he shut it , it would stay locked. He started his car and it made a fizz sound.
"Yea I know its my alternator " he looked at the man " It would be awesome if you had a working phone I could use" there was hope after all. Gabriel didn't smile but it was obvious he was happy.
Marcy walked over to the boy " Is he nice " she asked. It was kind of odd asking the man this. Normally she asked this about animals , mostly dogs but she knew it was better safe then sorry.
Gabriel wasn't worried about the boy , so he didn't rush over to stop her.

"Well, he can be," Dominic said looking down at the boy with a knowing glance. Izzy had a bad habit of biting people, not viciously he just wanted to taste the blood...which just worried the man, but he had been assured it was part of his demon blood.
Izzy reached his arms out at the girl, she looked interesting, he hadn't seen anyone with red hair before, and he could only imagine what she might have in her pockets. The small child flailed a bit in his fathers arms.
"He...likes to explore, and climb over people," Dominic explained, "He DID bite...but I think we've gotten that under control..." Or at least he had hoped they had.

Marcy wasn't worried about the boy hurting her. She kind of wanted to show the boy her fake leg , since that always made kids her age , and younger really happy or at least distract them. Adults sometimes freaked out , and walked there kids away from her. She never got bothered by it. She always seemed to make the best out of everything , and some how understood why people got freaked out.
She kept her leg on for now, though she might show him later. She just smiled at him and poked him with her index finger. She giggled the boy was soo cute.
Gabriel smiled "Yea , kids can be hand full" he tried not to show how nervous he was around Isaac. He was now the parent who wanted to lead his child away. It was an odd role reversal. So Gabriel stayed respectful, in hopes the man would test his cell phone out.

Izzy was surprised when he was poked and instinctively reached out with one of his four arms to grab onto her finger, inspecting it, he tugged on her hand lightly and tried to get a better hold in order to climb onto her, unfortunately as long as Dominic had a hold of him the boy wouldn't be allowed to, "Izzy, no climbing," He said as he tugged the boy back a bit and he pouted, "Sorry about that," Dominic said with a sigh.
The man held the boy in one arm as he looked at his cell phone to see if he got service, "Three bars," He mused and held it out toward the other father, "Hopefully a towing service isn't too far away,"

Marcy eyes got really big when he grabbed her finger , she still wasn't worried he would hurt her. She looked at the adult " He's kind of like my brother Ryan " she stated with a smile. She turned to her Dad " Huuuhhhh DAD " she kidded.
Gabriel nodded " Yeppers he does" he agreed. His eyes sparkled " Threee Bars , really that's great" he said with joy. The man with the ducky hat walked over to his car "Well I will check my phone book" he suggested. He knew that phone book would come in handy. Everyone in house teased him about it.

Izzy was disappointed when Dominic started to walk away from the interesting looking girl. The boy reached out toward her squirming a bit, wanting to investigate.
"Settle down Izzy," Dominic reprimanded him as he followed the man to his car, "Phone book huh? That's pretty convenient to have in your car," He said as he offered Gabriel the phone.

Marcy raised her hand up to wave at boy "bye" she mouthed. She watched them walk to the car. She started to do steps for her Hula.
Gabiel smiled " Yea , I have a few handy things on hand ...." he realized he said hand to much and started to think about it. He snapped out "thanks" Gabriel stated as he took the phone. He zipped through the phone book and found car places , he then called "anyplace , anytime pick ups" it was located in Durem , so he knew it wouldn't be to long before it got to them.
Gabriel smiled at Dominic as he made the call. Izzy seemed like handfull but vary neat also. Gabriel kind of stopped worring that this point since things where looking up. When the lady on the otehr line picked up she already knew where Gabriel based on the cell phone. Gabriel gave her his info and she let him they had another hour of waiting.
"HEY Marcy we are going to be late" he shouted. She kind of pouted , she never been late to anything "Its ok" she shouted back.

"How long are they going to be?" Dominic asked having to s**t Izzy in his arms every so often to subside his squirms. The man must have had the patients of a saint to put up with Izzy's energy levels and not raise his voice.
The boy was squirming around still until he had wrenched himself to face back at the girl who was now moving in strange patterns. Izzy instantly stopped squirming, he watched curiously his eyes open wide and ears twitching.

Marcy hummed the song , she moved slow , she was still a kid so her hip movement wasn't huge but her feet work was worth watching. She really started to feel the music. She bobbed her head " Nooo worries Dad , you should call Lu" her Hula teacher. She made a fast dip , touched the ground and was up again.
Gabriel looked over to the other adult " I have a feeling an hour and half" he looked down at the ground. He listened to Marcy " Hey do you mind if I make one more phone call" the man with the ducky hat asked.
