Running straight through Greenkay, is a wide river. At first glance the water appears to be quite shallow, a deceiving trait that has caused many fluffy cats a shock when they have jumped in, but is in fact too deep to stand in. This means it is deep enough for an aquatic cat to swim comfrotably down its course, which runs straight through the entire forest, to its source on the hills of the vampire cats. It's water is clear and crystal blue, that shines and shimmers when the light reflects off it's surface.
There is the occasional lillypad, with frogs swimming about and resting upon these green leaves. Large cattails are also occasionally breaking the surface of the water and sway in the breeze. The large amount of water means that the life of vegetation on the river bank is abundant, making it a good choice for insects of various shapes and sizes to live.
The clean water makes the river a perfect habitat for aquatic fluffy cats to live, while they can sit along the bank and relax.
