Okay so 2 crazzzy things happened in just one day to me! I'm sure though, that there were more, just not as cool. This was yesterday.
Okay, the first thing, I went out being the nice gal I am, and I bought dad the 5 trees he wanted for the yard. Then my boyfriend and I planted them in the yard HOWEVER in the meantime, whilst digging, obviously because you gotta dig kinda deep down, we foudn things! Part of a pot, which who knows who put that there, but we also found a cannon ball. Our house dates back to the 1800s and we are also surrounded by a hella lot of farm land. There was also a battle very close by to where I live. =3 We're going to try and look around to get it dated, and then either give it to a museum or just keep it for a cool memory. When my Dad was oh, in his 20s, one of his foster kids found a spanish knife from god knows how long ago, but he lived in an area where the spanish were.
Now, for the second thing, this one is scary! Mom and I went shopping a few days ago and I finally got grapes, i've been craving them and they're delicious. Well I put them in the fridge and left and came back, and well, left them alone finally it leads to yesterday. I made a steak sandwich for my boyfriend and I and I was like, hey, grapes would be delicious with this. I pulled them out of the fridge and I was tearing them apart well, about too, and I saw it. a freaking spider, i screamed and told my boyfriend and my Dad what happened, and then dad said soak them in water. MORE SPIDERS CAME OUT OF IT! These grapes were from mexico by the way. I'm glad I didn't get bit, it wasn't your garden variety spider...So anyhow, i'm never eating grapes from that store again. I tossed the grapes outside for the birds and sprayed bug poison and what not. Maybe the raccoons ate them. Who knows, I just know I wasn't gonna, and neither were my parents. xD

Russian Roulette is not the same without a gun, The first story is so neat. I would love to find historical things like that in my yard.
The second is...ugh. I am getting images of my head of what happened and it freaks me out. I would hate to see spiders come out of my fruits.
And baby when it's love if it's not rough it isn't fun.

It's cool that you found some old things. The cannon ball will make a great piece for the main room. ^_^
Ah! I found a spider in the grape bag at the grocery store as well one day. I fear spiders so much that I didn't touch grapes for six months after that.

The first story is awesome haha. I never dug around the yard of my old house because I was afraid of what I'd find.
As for the second one... A long time ago my mom had one of those small vacuums that you hold in your hand, right? I'm talking like, back in the 90s or something. Anyway, she found a whole bunch of spiders in one corner of the house while she was vacuuming and sucked them all up with a hose. A few hours later, my sister wanted to vacuum in her room around a desk she had in it, so she went to empty the bag, right? When she did, all of the spiders crawled out of it and up her arms. You can understand why she flips a brick whenever she sees so much as an ant nowadays. x:

Symphonic- Me too. =3 Mom and I really need to get a metal detector, or borrow one, all though they only go so far down, but there might be other neat things. Mom and I also have like an old bottle collection, like 1800s kind of old. We have a thing for history. xD Even if it's not so significant and important, something such as a bottle is a neat keep sake. And yeah...I haven't been able to eat fruit at all, actually. Though I know it was just grapes, I can't touch fruit right now xD
Aristar- I'm so glad i'm not the only one D: D: I mean i'd heard stories about people who'd find spiders in their bananas and such but damn...@_@
Riri- xD Sorry dearie
Em Uhh Lee- Oh my freaking god. If that happened to me i'd fall over bawling and tearing at my arms, I would flip. I'd never even touch a vacuum again.
Kenny- xD This only makes me think of the movie, and the good ol spiders that apparently make some interesting noises. xDD <3

Oh, I love history too. I don't think we have many historical artifacts around the house besides photographs. My grandfather has all of the neat stuff from World War II that he got while over in Japan. I would feel the same way if it happened to me. If I saw spiders crawling out of grapes, I would never touch them again.
