"I only have eyyes, for youuu.." The glorious voice sang, getting louder the closer he came to Atias den, he'd decided to stick around for a while, Atia was fun and the cubs were cute and they needed a little fun in their lives, after all their mother wasn't going to give it to them. He was joy all around really.

Beaming broadly he stepped in to the dens mouth stretching out his limbs, he wasn't really looking for anyone, an afternoon with Atia never went amiss but a cub play session would go over, maybe not as well, but certainly well enough.

Amaranda stired as soon as she heard her fathers voice. He was always a lot of fun to be around. Streching she stood and wobbled her way over to where he father stood. "Morning daddy" she said lightly to him.

Amaranda loved when her dad was around, it was the only time she got to be a kid. Her mom saw no point in play time so her and her siblings were always learning. They were to be the future leaders of the pack... and their mother made it quite clear. Of course when her mother was around Amaranda knew not to show this side of her personality.

Beau smiled at the little cub and scooped her up in to hsi paws holding her to his chest "Hello my bella." He grins grooming the cubs face affectionatly. "Is your mother out on her rounds?" he raises a brow searching te den fo signs of Atia.

"Would you like to sneak away with your old man hmm?" He grins roguishly. "I don't think your mother will notice, i can teach you a song to annoy her." He chuckles, he had thought of a wonderful song to teach all the cubs so they could and probably would annoy their mother. Beau wasn't musch in to poking the bear but he liked to remind Atia that he was there and influencing in a minor way.

Amaranda snuggled into her dad's fur. "Mommy has gone, she has been gone for awhile." She answered with a smile, her mom had left her and the other cubs sleeping to go about her job this morning. "I think we should go on an adventure, just the two of us!" Amaranda answered excitedly. Alone time with her dad this was going to be epic. She squirmed exicitedly in his paws.

The thought of him teaching her a song that would annoy her mom was intriguing. Though she wasn't sure she would have the guts to ever actually sing it to her mom. After all Amaranda was constantly trying to please her mother, it was a hard job for such a young cub.

"Come on then Bella, lets take you for your own little adventure hmm?" He sets the cub down gently nd turns to walk back out in to the sun shine his tail high in the air, he checks behind himself to make sure the cub was following before striking up a song.

"De dum, de de, a diddily dum de day, we march along and these are the words we say, didum, de dedi, the words are easy to say oh a diddly dum a diddily do de day." He sang a cheery hop in his step as he padded along enjoying the morning sun.

Amaranda followed right behind her dad, bobbing up and down following his sweeping tail. As her dad sang she hummed along, adding a de dum here and there. She wasn't all that good at singing yet she was still learning to speak in general. None the less she tried hard to keep up with the song and her dad's as they sauntered off into the sun.

Amandra felt lucky to have this alone time with her dad, not being the most patient of cubs she began to ask questions, "Where we going daddy? What are we going to do? Is mommy going to be mad that we left the den?" Of course the worries of her mother sparked up again as they were walking away from the den, like all her siblings Amaranda was always worried about whether or not her mom would be unhappy with them, disown them or worse.

Beau looked backwards at the young cub following him, they were stil so young yet already they feared their mother. He understood it but it was sort of sad to him. "Don't worry about your mother bella, I'll smooth anything over with her." He smiles roguishly, getting a spark of soemthing in his dark eyes.

"We're going to the lake, because it's a goodplace to sing, the accoustics are wonderful off water."

Amaranda smiled her purple eyes brightened, she hoped that her father would be able to smooth it all over. She had noticed already that her dad had away of making her mom mellow out even if just for a short period of time, it would be enough for her to catch a break.

At the mention of the lake Amaranda's step turned more into a skip, she was excited to be going somewhere so beautiful. It had lots of stuff to see and lots of interesting things she could try to catch while she listened to her daddy sing. Maybe today would be the day that Amaranda could figure out how to sing herself. Though she was pretty sure her voice wouldn't sound nearly as good as her daddy's.

"Look daddy, I can see the water, oh its so pretty. I love that colour." Amaranda shouted as her an her father made it into view of the lake. There was only a few other pride members down by the lake today. Amaranda did a quick sweep making sure her mother wasn't one of the ones down there. A smile broke out on to her face when she saw that her mother was nowhere in sight.

The big male leopard chuckled lightly, "Waterwater every where but not a drop to drink." He whispers nudging the cub gently towards the waters edge, where he sat and groome dhis face. "Don't get too close to the water bella, if you down your mother will kill me." He chuckles jovily, though he was perfectly serious.

"Now then, how about this song hmm? Or would you like to hear a song about the water first?"

Amaranda defiently stuck her toes in the water, just wanting to feel the cool water on her fur, with that urge satisfied she went and sat down next to her dad. Amaranda always liked the look of the water and wanted to swim but was much to afraid to even think about trying it, particularly after he father gave her a warning like that.

She sat down next to her dad and looked up at him "Um I think I would like to hear the one about the water first" she answered looking out at the
water again, it held a lot of intruige.

Beau grinned and groomed the cub for a moment while he looked for the song. "Well, I'll sing one about the sea, now the sea, is many many miles from here but it's a water so vast you can't see the other shore like you can here."

His tail starts tapping to a rythem as he loweres his head and sings in his georgous, clear voice, he was a bard and singing is what he did. "Some where, beyond the sea, some where, waiting for meeee, my loveer stands on golden sand, and watches the ships that go sailing, she's far beyond a doubt, my hearrrrtt will meet me there soon, and we'll meet, I know we'll meet, beyond the shore, we'll kiss, just as before, and happy we will be, beyond the sea and never again I'll go sailing, no more sailing, so long fare well my friends, no more sailin'." He puurrs laying down and pulling the little cub to his side. "That my bella is a song of the sea, one of the less crass ones any way." he chuckles.

Amaranda giggled as her father pulled her into his side. "Is it mother you are meeting on the other side of the sea to kiss, and be happy again?" she giggled at the thought. She had a large number of mentle images of her daddy sailing across the sea to his love a sea so large that you couldn't see anything but water when you were in the middle of it.

"Daddy can you sing me another song now... the one that will bug mother. I promise I wont tell her you told me it." she said thinking perhaps her dad would back out of telling her it if it was really going to make mother mad.

Beau laughed quietly, he was determined to teach all of the cubs the little tune, and get them to sing it all at once just to see how Atia would react. "Of course Bella, follow me okay?" He griined and licked his lips before he started singing.

"This is the song that doesn;t end, yes it gopes on and on my friend, some people, started singing it not knowing what it was, and they'll continue singing it forever just because this is the song that doesn't end, yes it goes on and on my friend.." he paused and gave a laugh "it's very hard to know whne to stop, now you try."

Amaranda looked up into her father eyes, mimicking him exactly she licked her lips and get ready to sing. "This is the doesn't end, yes goes on my friends... people singing it not knowing it was continue singing it just because." She looked up frustrated at her dad it hadn't sounded right.

"Daddy I dont think I am doing it right." She was sad that she couldn't sing it right she had wanted her daddy to be proud of her, and well mostly she wanted to have something to throw at her mom when she was being difficult, though the htough of making her mom angry made Amaranta shake slightly with fear.

Beau smiles and leans down scooping up the little cub he grooms her forehead gently. "Don't worry about it littleun, one day you'll know it, just remember the tune today and tomorrow we can sing it again." He smiles softly, he liked the idea of annoying the lady in his life, but he knew the poor cub was a little frightened, to say the least, of her mothers wrath.

Amaranta hummed the tune as she snuggled into her fathers fur. If nothing else she knew how to get the tune out, she hoped her father would be proud of that. She probably would refrain from humming around her mother she thought... she didn't want to make her mad.

She let out a small yawn. "Daddy I am tired." she admitted to him. It wasn't often she got to be tiny and vulnerable like a cub should be so she absorbed every moment of it she could get with her father.

"how about we have a little nap before we go back to your mum hmm? I'll sing you a lullaby" He smiles and lays down pulling the cub towards his furry chest, grooming her tiny body with his rough tongue. "curl up tight now and don't worry I'll have you back to your mum before she even notices you're gone."

Amaranta drifted quickly into sleep allowing her father to groom her completely. Listening to him sing a lullaby Amaranta smiled she loved her quality time with her father. With a happy sense of meaning something to someone Amaranta fell into a blissful sleep.
