Some rules concerning Journal creation, maintainance and general use. There is also the form you need to send to the Mule to get your Journal set up here.

Journal Rules

01 - If you make a Journal, follow the Set-Up Guidelines.
02 - Do not post in other peoples' journals without expressed permission. If I catch anyone doing this, or hear reports of it, you will be grey, or even blacklisted.
03 - Journals are required to keep track of your RPs and to post your Research Entries and Journal entries.
04 - Do not complain that they are necessary.
05 - Do not use your Journal as a bitching thread against us or the requirements. This will only get you grey or even blacklisted and your right to have a Daemon revoked.

Journal Guidelines

In order to have people read your Journal, and post in it, if permission is granted, it is good practice to make it readable and clear. Here are some guidelines that will help you in that:

- Clear set up is integral to a good Journal. If there is information jumbled about all over the place, it is hard to read and unpleasing to the eye. Have clear headings, blocks of text and information.
- Keep the Journals clear of unnecessary junk, such as OOC chatter. This wll keep your Journal funtioning properly and won't confuse readers.
- If you don't want people to post in your Journal, don't give them the option. In the rules, or simply in some easy to access place, simply state your Journal is a non-posting Journal. Don't get mean if someone does post, just let me know, and I'll delete it for you.
- Try to write in good, clear English, so that everyone reading, and even yourself at a later stage, don't have to fight through so many mistakes and chatspeak it makes their head hurt. *Asterics* are not a good way to go about writing up RPs or Journals, so make sure you read through the RP Guidelines on all the RP Forums and on the Info Forum.

Getting Your Journal

To set up a Journal, there are a number of things you need to do. They are all outlined simply here for you, so just read through, get it set in your minds, then go ahead and do it!

Journals can take the form of two different types:

Individual Journals [I-J]
Group Journals [G-J]
PPC Journals [PPC-J]

([PPC-J] will be sticked for easier finding)

Now, the top two are as acceptable as the other, though I personally prefer the Individual Journals, as they allow you a lot more information and detail concerning each Daemon and character you create, however, a Group Journal allows you to keep all your Daemons and characters in the same place and allow for easier manipulation. PPC Journals are the only freely Open Journals and allow you to contact the owner of the PPC for RP - only people who own an PPC may make these.

To get your Journal you must PM the details to the Mule, with the title 'Journal Set-Up'. The first post of your Journal will then be added and after that, you have free reign on how you want to conduct it. Here is the form you need to PM the mule in order to get your Journal. Send all the Journal details in the same PM, if giving each of your characters Individual ones. When you get new characters, just send on the new information and the next Journal will be made for you, or the Group one altered.
