The sunset made the sky look warm, like someone had painted it yellow and orange and blended the two colors together before placing a shining, bright orb beside the mountain she was heading to. The filly stood at the edge of the forest, tail swishing side to side as she stared at the sunset, avoiding direct eye-contact with it. She had wandered off again, this time to grab herself some dinner before she has to return to her mentor, Grencia, before he gets too worried.
"Hm... Better start now before it gets too dark to see properly," The filly muttered thoughtfully under her breath before she turned to face the forest she grew up in. Her family was all the way at the other side, waiting for her return... Brioso smiled at the thought, trotting happily into the forest before sniffing at the ground and the air for signs of food. Frowning slightly, the female straightened up before venturing deeper in.
Her eyes were alert as she scanned the area, hoping to catch sight of her favorite meal - clovers. Part of her knew that clovers were difficult to find in the evening, but she had to try... After all, she had gotten lucky before! Or maybe some fruits will be nice for a change!

Tooki had spent most of the afternoon exploring the forest, looking at the different plants and swimming in the pond he'd found. He had been on his way toward the more open spaces to watch the sunset when he found the patch of clover. He couldn't help himself.
The stallion looked around to make sure no one was watching, then flopped over into the bed of clover. Kicking his legs in the air, he started rolling around it it. He loved the smell the clover left on his coat. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself, imagining what he must look like.

There it was! That sweet, familiar smell!
The filly grinned happily to herself as she lifted her head, nose high in the air to take in a deep breath. As the wind blew past, she couldn't help but salivate at the strong smell of clovers; it probably mean that there were a lot nearby! Suddenly, her stomach rumbled loudly, as if asking her to hurry up instead of being rooted to the spot. Taking the hint, Brioso let out a silent cheer before heading in the direction the smell was drifting in from.
Following her nose, the female stopped to sniff the air a few times before moving on, a slight frown on her lips. There was something weird about the clover smell now that she was nearer to the source... She just can't figure out what. Still frowning, the filly rounded a corner and saw... A stallion covered in her dinner? For a moment, she didn't know how to react - all she did was stand there and stare.
There goes her dinner.

Tooki kicked his legs a last few times, then lay on his side. He inhaled the clover smell, smiling happily. He sat up, trying to shake the clover plants loose from his long mane. He noticed something in the blur of shaking his head and stopped, turning to the 'blur'.
It was a little foal, he thought. He was curious as to why she was staring, has she seen him rolling in the clover. "Uhhh....hi?"

She continued to stare, dumbfounded at the sight before her. Looking away for a minute, she tried to regain her composure. She took in a deep breath to clam herself, but the strong smell of the clovers made her wince.
"My poor dinner..." Brioso finally muttered under her breath, giving a disappointed sigh as she stared wistfully at the squished clovers on the ground and the clover pieces on the stallion. The smell was making her salivate, but the clover patch was beyond saving now... Not even a hero can do anything about it! Letting out another sigh, the filly frowned at the one responsible for the 'mess', "What were you doing?"
As she finished her sentence, her stomach let out a low rumble, and she blushed slightly, hoping the other didn't notice.

"Dinner?" tooki looked down at the crushed clover patch. He smiled sheepishly at the foal, "Uhhh....just rolling in the clover. It smells good when you roll in it..."

"It does, doesn't it?" Brioso replied, her voice tinged with disappointment and what sounded like mild frustration. Normally, she would join in the rolling as it looks fun and indeed smells pleasant, but she was in no mood to do it at the moment. Sighing again, the filly flicked her tail before looking up at the stranger, "So... Do you know of any other clover patches? I'm sort of... Looking for dinner."
As if no cue, her stomach gave another growl, this one louder than the last. In response, the filly blushed again, although it wasn't visible under her dark pelt, and shifted her hoofs. She then chuckled nervously, "The name's Brioso... What's yours?" She looked expectantly at the stallion with a slight smile, although it was obvious that she was quite pretty embarrassed.

"My name is Tooki," the stallion replied, looking sorry thathe ruined the foal's dinner. He was sorry, he didn't know that she'd been coming to eat. He looked around, then shook his head. "No...but I'll help you look...I'm sorry for ruining your dinner."

"Well, you didn't know that I wanted the clovers to be my dinner," The mare managed a smile before letting out a soft chuckle, "There's really nothing to be sorry about! I'm sure there are other clover patches around... Or some fruits. Its the forest, after all! There should be food everywhere if we search hard enough." She nodded quickly, peering at the stallion curiously for a second.
Trotting to his side, she looked up before speaking again, "Have you eaten dinner, mister Tooki?"
