I love Stephen King ^^ especially The Dark Tower serise. Anyone got anything to share about Mr. King?

Both of my parents are rabid King fans, though I've only managed to read one: "The eyes of the dragon". But it was quite AWESOME And I constantly reread it. I'm not good with horror. Any suggestions?
