Still planning on Worlds of Fun. Maybe not Halloween itself and it will depend on if we have the money at the time. Last year was a gothic doll. This year I'm going as the ghost of Marie Antoinette. Have the gown, wig, gloves, masque. Planning on applying make up to make it look like my head has been cut off.

I'm not wearing a costume to Worlds of Fun, I'm wearing it for Halloween. That's why I said Worlds of Fun might have to be some other day before Halloween. I'm planning on being in Omaha by end of July, therefore hopefully I will be able to go to a Halloween party.

I'm going as a zombie for the 3rd year in a row. It's so much fun because by now I've perfected corpse paint and a zombie gait. Plus you can do so much with it. The first year I was just a random zombie with ripped up jeans and blood covered ripped powerpuff girls shirt. Last year I wore my shiori costume with my zombie make up and rolled around in the leaves to get that "just crawled out of the grave" look. This year I'm not sure what type of outfit to wear. I've inspired my boyfriend to dress as a zombie. Last year he refused to wear a costume but somehow I've rubbed off on him. I think Anime Boston showed him how much fun wearing a costume can really be.

I don't know what I'm doing though. I usually just have a party and I wouldn't mind doing that again, but we'll see what happens.

@Naomi: Maybe you should be a vampire hunter and stake all of the Bellas and Edwards.

Worlds of Fun is a amusement park in Kansas City, Mo. Every year they have what they call Halloween Haunt, where they turn the entire park into a giant "haunted house" of sorts. After sunset they fog the entire park, the rides keep running, and the actual "haunted walks" as I would call them open up around the park. It's quite entertaining.

Most likely my own, since you won't be able to come up for another six months or so. That's about how long they make leases for, I think. I should be okay with what I have saved, but I'll have a very empty house because I have no furniture.

btw, What were we planning on doing about furniture?

K says that the area he's in has openings, plus it's close to a lot of businesses, therefore easy access to possible jobs. I'm more worried about getting to my job then being near campus. I'm thinking anywhere near possible jobs is best.

Yay, a couch! I'll take it if you can't make it right away. But you will have to apartment hunt with me at some point. I can maybe pay rent for a two bedroom until you get there, it all depends on what I get for a job. Actually, it all just depends, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I'm sure we'll think of something. I'd not mind just jumping the gun, but you really need money saved up before applying elsewhere--I've been applying to jobs, hunting for library jobs and stuff, but I'm going to see what the school has to offer as well. If we have to have two jobs each, it'll work.

Also, the couch is good. We should probably move this conversation to a separate thread. This is Halloween, and they're both great topics in here, but maybe we should make a thread for this? ^_^.
