Taikarana was laying out in the open air. She was panting heavily and very annoyed with her large belly. She 'looked' at it growling a little before looking away. She didn't hate her children no in fact she loved them and had come to care deeply for the ones inside her belly. She rested her head on her paws as she choked down a scream.
The pain it was back. She had slipped out of the den she sheared with the father of the cubs. She sneaked out not wanting to alarm him. She had been having contractions for days now but had said nothing she just thought it was the cub kicking her in place's. She could identify at least 5 cubs but knew she had to have more then that inside her she was to large.
"Its okay...we'll be okay." She telling herself more then her cubs. She finally pushed herself up as she began to sniff out the water whole that was close to the den. She finally found it as she bent over and began to drink greedily only to get sick and throw it back up. She hadn't been able to eat to much from the pain and she was starting to worry something might be wrong till she noticed a very cold cool feeling with the wind brushed by her. Her back legs where soaking and smelt rather funny.

Nazih'Matata was curled up in the den. A nightmare playing in his head, his legs twitched and his faced was slightly scrunched up, a look in between fear and pain. He was dreaming about the cubs that were coming, it was freaking him out in the dreams. He lifted up his head panicked, his eyes wide in fear before he looked around. It took him a moment as he settled back into his spot before he noticed that Taika wasn't where she normally slept. Was it time?
"Oh god." He said quietly.
He quickly stood up, blacking out for a moment because of the fast movement before he started to wander after her. "Are you alright Taika?" He asked eying her carefully, something was going on... He was scared, his cubs were coming... He was going to be a father. This was all too real now.

She let out a small cry as she 'looked' to him before screaming out loudly as more pain rushed threw her body. She began to pant heavily as she rested her head on her paws again.
"Ahh...Nazih!" She screamed out then letting out a small whimper as she leaned onto her side as she panted heavily. "Ahh Nazih!" She screamed out as he clawed out the ground as she began to push it was the only thing that felt right. She curled into a slight call as she kept pushing till a gasp came from the lioness and small little mews where heard.
Taikarana panted a little as whimpered moving to pull the cub in between her front legs as she began to clean the cub. She then rested her head against her daughter resting her head against the cubs side as it raised and fell slowly.
She slowly began to smile before scream out as more pain came to her but it wasn't the right pain it wasn't the pain she felt like before when she began to push no this was the pain that came before the pushing.

Nazih looked at her with a worried look on his face. He watched her before she noticed her on the ground, he wasn't that sure if he wanted to move to her or not... It was time, it finally was here... He moved toward to her, as quickly as he could by the second scream. He licked her forehead a few times, quietly with a worried look still on hisf ace.
"I'd be alright, it will be over soon." He grumbled quietly before licking her forehead a few other times. "Come on." He said quietly before he heard the mewing, his eyes lit up. He looked over, looking at the cub he couldn't believe it, he was a father. But he knew it wasn't the only one, if it was he would be happy, he could just leave. He watched her carefully before he heard her scream again. He cringed before he licked her head a few times again.

Several minutes passed before another cub was born. She moved to quickly begin to clean it but got distracted when the first one started mewing loudly.
She panicked as she looked around trying to find out what to do. But the little cub moved closer to her nosing her mothers body before finding what she wanted. She began to greedily drink her mother milk.
Taikarana turned back to the secound cub as before moving it to rest beside the first. Though she was blind she knew exactly where the cubs where. She let out a heavy sigh before resting her paws on her forearms.
She then let out a small whined before her panting grew even heavier as pushed another cub from inside her as she weakly moved to clean it. So far she had two daughters and now a son.
"Nazih..." She said softly as she finished cleaning the third cub.
"What do they look like?" She asked feeling rather tired from all the stress in her body but she knew she was no where near over with.

Nazih looked at her, licking her forehead a few times, making sure to try and keep her clam. "Keep breathing." He reminded her softly. "Its painful but it will all be better soon." He wasn't sure if he wanted it to be over soon, he wished he could have been home this entire time. Why did he have to go away from home and get himself into all of this. He wasn't that sure... He looked over at her then at his cubs. Before a smile came across his face. He started to feel better about it. A lot better, maybe it was a little better that he a lot more comfortable.
"There are twins." he started with, a smile on his face. "The females, they both have that marking on your forehead over their eyes. One's are black and the other are gold, one has a purple mane the other has a red.... They are both white, ring around their necks... They are both so beautiful." It seemed like so much for him to explain. There is a purple male two gold rings around one of his ankles. He has a white stomach and white marking over this eyes."
He looked at them in awe, he couldn't believe how beautiful... But at the same time he felt like he was overwhelmed, and at the same time he was happy. Very happy. And he also had a feeling that there were going to be more.

Time passed as she was able to rest awhile before another cub began to make its way into the world she cried out as a gray female cub. She had oddly colored hair and similar markings to the first two female cubs that where born.
"Mmm...Nazih I'm getting so tired." She whimpered out as she leaned into her now four cubs. She panted heavily before screaming out as another gray female cub was born. She was a good deal of her father looks she let out several little mew till she was snuggled up close between her siblings.
"Nazih...ahh there so many babies." She said as she began to cry resting her head down on to her forearms. "Nazih how are we going to do this...there will be to many for you." She said as she deep down started to feel deeply for her cubs not wanting to loose them.
"Ahh there another one coming!!" She screamed out loudly as her body shook from the pain as she focused on stay as calm as she could for the cubs sake.

Nazih held his breath as Rana started to birth more cubs. Soon he was a father of three, then four. Oh this was something else. He wasn't that sure of what he was going to do. "Keep going sweet heart" He whispered quietly to her before he started describing the cubs. The second female born proved that they were his for sure. However out of all these cubs there were no males yet. That surprised him a bit. "You're doing good." He said with as much hope as he could in his voice.
"Don't count your chickens before they hatch." He said quietly, he hoped that there wasn't any more but something told him that there was more. He could feel his stomach twist at the idea but he had to be strong. "Its alright we can figure this out. Even if... you take a cub... As long as they are all safe." He said looking at the cubs so far. And with that she heard her scream. He cringed for a moment before nuzzling her. "Shhh... Concentrate. You can do it." He encouraged quietly.

She closed her eyes tightly as the secound son was born to the odd couple. He was gray and looked much like his fathers markings. She let out a heavy sigh as she leaned into her arms thinking she was done until her first daughter start to cry out loudly. She panicked as she looked to the girl.
"Ahh Nazih what's wrong why...why is she crying!" She cried out scared as she stood up moving to adjusted her position before laying back down letting out a cry as the pain was back she thought she was done but clearly there was one last cub inside her. She panted heavily as she tried to push him out but there was so much pain and she didn't understand why.
"Nazih something wrong!" She cried out as her better judgment began to kick in finally as she cried. "No I don't want to loose any babies do something Naizh!" She yelled at him as her claws dug into the ground.
"DO SOMETHING NOW!!" She roared out loudly as she began frantic not sure what to do with the cub coming out breached.

Nazih blinked a few times as he noticed that he now had sons. Amazing, very amazing to him. He stared at the cubs in awe, still explaining what the cubs looked like, that was until he heard the crying too. He was starting to panic slightly, until he saw her panicking too, she was panicking for something different though. He blinked a few times, he had to stay calm. Some one had to stay calm, he knew that for a fact, one of them had to be in some what control of themselves. "Shhh!" He tired to get her to calm down the best he could, he watched her before he looked around. "I Don't know what to do!" He called out at her.
He paced toward the front of the den hoping some random female would wander by that could help him, but that idea failed him. He paced back toward her and licked her side gently. "Calm down sweetheart." He said quietly. "Lay down." He said trying to come up with something for her to do. "You aren't going to loose any of them!" He looked around a few times before sighing. "It wil be alright, focus, push, try your hardest! I can't do anything else but try to help you?" He said trying to encourage her the best he could.

She panicked till finally the cub was let free form her body she panted heavily pulling it close to her cleaning the small white boy. "I'm sorry..." She whispered softly to him.
"Please...don't be mad with me." She said as she licked his cheek softly as her first daughter began to cry out as if getting jealous she pulled the cub over as she began to clean her only to have the cub move away and curl around her bother. She 'looked' at the two between her forearms as she nuzzled them softly.
"Oh Nazih...I wish I could see them." She whispered softly as turned onto her side as she began to sleep almost so suddenly.
The two white cubs between her front legs snuggled up closely as they fell asleep with each other the female clinging desperately to the boy not even letting him thinking he could leave.

Nazih sighed as he flopped back on his haunches as he watched the cubs and their mother. He could already see the ones that she would insist on taking. The two cubs, he leaned forward noticing that she was asleep. He nuzzled them before letting out a sigh. "I'll always love you too." He said to them. Before looking at the other cubs. The children that he was going to live with. He looked at them, noticing them eat their fill from their mother. His relationship was going to be ending with her soon. He didn't want to get too attached to her or the cubs. It would be too painful to leave them... And he did have to get home. He sighed as he looked at the group of cubs once more time. One started to nudge themself toward him and he pulled her closer before pulling the others gently toward him.
He held them close to him letting them snuggle against his belly. And then at that point he started to whisper names toward them, purring quietly and looking at them. He was proud, he hoped that Sadiki would approve, he really did. He started to settle himself to sleep too. With a smile on his face and sleeping cubs near him.
