Lunarpaw padded next to Sleetpaw. She wanted to confess her feelings for him, but couldn't seem to find the right time. She breathed out a sigh, knowing that she would probably wait too long to tell him and another she-cat would snatch him up. She needed to ask Snowpaw for help.

Sleetpaw's ears were perked and except for the occasional glanced towards Lunarpaw, he was fully concentrated on hunting.

Lunarpaw caught sight of a mouse scuffling among some tree roots and slid into a hunters crouch. She stalked forward and pounced, dispatching the mouse with a swift blow to the neck.

Sleetpaw purred when Lunarpaw took down the mouse. "Awesome kill, Lunarpaw." He complimented and then crouched for a squirrel. He stalked towards it a bit but when it tried to escape, he leaped, catching it with his claws and delivering the death bite quickly. He landed on his feet and buried the squirrel under a light layer of dirt.

Sleetpaw looked over at Lunarpaw and smiled. "Nah, I just have long legs....Snowpaw can jump high too. Higher than I can." He mewed. He looked around and noticed that Lynxclaw was stalking a bird. He crouched down to hide his white pelt. "Want to go and hunt by the river?" He asked Lunarpaw in a whisper, whiskers twitching.
Lynxclaw sighed mentally. Why won't those two apprentices just shut-up! He flexed his claws into the earth as he got ready to pounce on the starling. Muscles bunched, he sprung as the bird tried to take flight. He caught it's foot and brought it down, having to chase it as it struggled, flapping wildly against the earth floor. He hissed at Lunarpaw and Sleetpaw. "Could've had a clean kill if the two of you weren't running your mouths!"
Sleetpaw's ears fell, then shot back up again. "Should've had a clean kill regardless!" He hissed back and then looked at Lunarpaw for her answer.
Lynxclaw snarled, pouncing on the bird and delivering the killing bite.

All Lunarpaw could hear was the beat of her heart at the close proxcimity to him.
"Yes." she breathed.

At Lunarpaw's yes, Sleetpaw turned tail and bounded towards the river, his tail waving like a flag behind him. He slowed to an easy pace once he was well away from Lynxclaw.
Lynxclaw continued to hunt.

Shiningfall stalked a rabbit, when it came less then a tail-length from it he lunged as fast as he could. He manged to trap the rabbit under him before he clamped his jaws around its neck and killed it.
Sandclaw cought a black bird that was on a lower branch "Good catch" he called to Shiningfall before he hide his kill and continued on.

Hunterspaw waddled behind Nightpool, eagerly looking around the woods. "Geez... I wish Wolfpaw were a medicine cat apprentice too. We would have so much more fun..." She mumbled under her breath then spoke a little louder. "Where do you think we should go for the coltsfoot? There probably isn't much around this time of season.

Nightpool tought for a second "Last time I checked there was a clump growing by the river of windclan, we can try there" he mewed. Not worried if any patrols see them "and the poppy seeds should be close by the clump and maybe we can pick up some adder-bark?" he asked, he believed his apprentice was ready to become a full medicine cat but he would wait until the next half moon or sooner then that if she kept it up.

A grin spread across the she-cat's face. "There might even be some burdock there! Thats a good root to have extra of." She bounded towards the windclan border with her tail in the air. She was excited to get to go near a border, most of the time she was kept inside the camp to help with the injured cats, and she rarely got to go close to the borders.

((eek! soorry im soo late in replying!))
Stormfire was a little ways off she had already caught a mouse and a trush. she was now stalking another mouse. Before the mouse could look up stormfie sprang and bit down hard. stormfire straitened up and covered the freesh mouse with bracken.

Nightpool picked his pass up to match the young she-cats, he didn't want her running into any patrols. Yes they where medicine cats but it didn't mean something could go wrong.
Shiningfall manged to take down a robine and two mice, he was now stalking a vole. He crept quietly along the floor of the forest, his tail tip flicked silently in the air.
Sandclaw was stalking a wood pigeon, he waisnt doing so well scaring away two mice which made him feel like a new apprentice. He made sure that the pigeon wouldnt see, hear or sent him until it was to late. When he was ready he lunged and landed on top of the bird that was stunned to see him, he bite it behind the head and hide it under some leafs.
