Race: Shinigami
Age: Appearance wise, she looks to be 19. In reality, she is probably a few hundred, but she won’t tell anyone the exact number.
Height: 5’2
Weight: 95 pounds
Physical Description:
First and foremost, Hirimi is small and petite. Of course she isn’t the smallest person around, but her fragile and innocent appearance seems to create the illusion of being shorter then she really is. Figure wise, she only has a slight hourglass shape that you probably wouldn’t notice unless she wore a fitted top.

Her thick brilliant red hair is long enough to touch her hips, the ends more gold then red. Sometimes when she's in the mood she'll tie a bright gold ribbon in her hair just for looks… And with how thick her hair is? She rarely tries to tame the wavy locks… Or do anything with them! She just leaves her hair to its own devices, and more often than not is forced to blow hair from her face. Her eyes are unusually large and snake like, emerald green in color. Both her chin and nose are stubborn, but offset by her full soft lips. She is fair skinned, as if she rarely sets foot outside.

When it comes to her dressing style, Hirimi is traditonal from feet to waist. Her torso and chest is wrapped in a simple white cloth, the shoulders covered with thick, almost 'puff balls' if black cloth. The sleeves are slim, blossoming at the ends and gray in color. She is rarely seen without her Zanpakutou tied to her odd, black sash.

Personality:
Hirimi is… well interesting seems to be a fitting word. She has her flaws and her strengths, no matter how bizarre they might be. But the first thing you should know about her is just how warm and inviting she is. She is the type of person that nearly anyone can relax around, never having to worry about her stabbing them in the back. She will make friends with anyone, and everyone willing. It’s just dang blasted hard to hate her.

There is a childlike grace to her, and not just from her youthful appearance! She can get overly enthusiastic about things, to the point of bouncing off the walls. It’s far too easy to embarrass her, her entire face turning as bright as her hair at these times. If you scare her, she’ll near jump out of her own skin. If that weren’t enough? She is far to curious for her own good!

When it’s called for though, she can drop her childlike innocence. She truly isn’t someone you want to mess with, because she won’t shy away from a fight if she has a reason to settle things that way. What’s worse? She’ll take the cheap shots if you leave yourself open to them. Depending on what mood she is in, she will try to end things as quickly as possible, or just wait it out until you are forced to call it quits.

In no way is she the squeamish sort. Having spent as much time as she did in the 4h Squad she’s far to used to it all. She is able to keep a clear head in most fights, no matter how bloody they may be, and will come to anyone’s aid that may need it. This has become a serious problem sometimes, if only because she doesn't know when to quit. In the passed she has worked herself until she fainted on several occasions, and will continue doing so, no matter how many times she get's dragged away to go rest!

Sadly, there are two things you should have ask or let Hirimi do. The first? Go anywhere that she isn’t completely familiar with. Otherwise? She’ll get lost. Seriously. She can find herself lost in the barracks of whatever squad she is in for hours! If you try and send her to a certain squad’s base, and she doesn’t have a path memorized… Well you probably won’t see her for a few hours or a few days.

The second thing you should never let Hirimi do… Is cook. Just don’t. Not unless you want to have your food burnt to a crisp even if it shouldn’t be physically possible! She would probably burn water! There are only two things she seems capable of cooking… or fixing. And that is a bitter, but not totally vulgar tea, and plain white rice. After all, she sort of has to be able to fix rice, right? It is one of the few things she can eat! Hirimi’s small and delicate frame is thanks to her having ‘Celiac’, which basically means she is incapable of eating gluten(in general, it means she can’t have wheat. And a lot of things have wheat, including most soy sauces!).

Hirimi is dense. Plain and simple. She doesn’t seem at all capable of telling the difference between compliments and flirting unless you actually tell her you’re flirting. What’s worse? She doesn’t even know when she herself is flirting! Talk about dense! You could blame her total lack of romance in her life for this, after all, she’s never really had any suitors! … Well suitors that have been brave enough to come forward…


Zanpakutou Spirit:
刀 蛇 Ha No Dokuhebi(Blade Viper)
Ha No Dokuhebi is almost the complete opposite body wise compared to Hirimi. If she had a ‘normal’ body, she’d probably stand as tall as six feet, with curves that any woman would envy. Sadly, you can’t exactly expect a snake spirit to be ‘normal’. From waist up she is a beautiful, enchantress like woman, with striking snake green eyes and curly midnight black hair cascading down her shoulders. Her features are sharp, but elegant… Waist down though, instead of legs, it’s no surprise that she has a long snake tail, the same shade of green as her own and Hirimi’s eyes.

Normally she is incredibly quiet, only speaking when she has to, but it’s not because she’s shy, she’s just more focused on observation. Nothing escapes her searching gaze. She is always watching, always waiting for something to happen. Over all? She is far to curious for her own good! Always sticking her nose in whatever she can. If she is feeling talkative though, she is normally somewhat sarcastic and blunt with a thin smirk on her lips. She isn’t unusually aggressive though, not unless provoked at least.

She treats Hirimi much like a little sister, tormenting and all! To such a degree that she interferes with Hirimi’s reiatsu everytime the girl tries to use Kidou…. Unless it’s Chiyudo. As you can imagine, she gets a kick out of the explosion that is always the result. For all her teasing though, Ha No Dokuhebi is unusually protective of Hirimi, and will do anything in her power to keep her from harm’s way. She can be sentimental, but only when Hirimi is in serious need of being cheered up.
Inner World:
Ha No Dokuhebi calls a lush green rainforest home. The place is peaceful, but dead of all sounds except for the soft dripping of rain drops on the foliage or forest floor. The tree tops hide the sky from view, giving the forest floor a beautiful green hue to it. No matter what direction you head it, the path will always lead to a simple gazebo made from entwined vines. This is the only spot in the entire forest where true sunlight shows through, showering the place with a warm glow.

Normally, the place is damp but warm, as if right after a heavy summer rain. Depending on how upset Hirimi is, there can be a mist like rain, or full on thunderstorm.
Seal Form:
When sealed, her Zanpakutou is like near all others. The steel blade is a little shorter than most, only about 20 inches, but the handle makes up those few inches of distance. The sheath and braided grip of the handle are the same shade of green as Hirimi’s eyes. The guard is a brilliant silver, and shaped like two entwined serpents.
Shikai:

Release words: "Give chase, Ha No Dokuhebi!"
When released the Zanpakutou changes into a 15 foot length whip make of what looks to be leather. Attached to the end is a snakehead about 6 inches in length. A strange guard of sorts breaks off from the grip of the whip, to stretch out over her arm and lightly kiss her elbow.

  • The snakehead at the end of the blade is not a blade, instead, whenever it nears it’s target the jaw will snap open to ‘bite’ down on whatever it’s aiming for. The inside of the mouth is lined with small, needle like teeth that are shaped inward to make escape difficult and painful.
  • The teeth of the mouth have been dipped into a type of poison that will slowly paralyze your body starting with your feet to slow your movements, before working its way up. If left unchecked, before long your entire body will be completely paralyzed. It is possible for those stronger then her to be immune to the poison. The time it takes to fully paralyze your body depends on your skill level. If you are weaker then Hirimi, it will take anywhere from thirty seconds to three minutes. If you are of equal strength it will take between three and four minutes. And if you are stronger then her it will take from four minutes to ten.
  • The guard is mostly meant for protection, since her weapon is long ranged, the range is there to block close range attacked. The edge used for blocking though is sharpened like a knife edge, so if she really wants to, it can be used as a form of attack.
  • The whip is not limited to her own physical directions. It is capable of moving about with absolutely no physical commands from Hirimi. (Basically meaning, she can have the whip move around a chair, or wrap about her victim with a thought rather than a movement.)


Bankai
(Achieved)
When Bankai is released, her weapon will take the shape of two identical weapons known as Katars, a type of ‘push’ dagger made for stabbing. The hand grip is in the shape of an H, with the blade sitting right above her knuckles. The sides of the handle are slightly different, instead of forming two straight pieces of metal that could act as guards, they wrap around her arms like serpents, down her torso, around her legs, ending at the top her feet.

  • The right hand blade is poisoned similar to that of her Shikai, though with a few differences. The paralyzing poison is attracted to Reiatsu, so it will always paralyze the limb or limbs touching Zanpakutou’s first, before moving on to the rest of the body. It spreads three times faster than it’s Shikai counterpart.
  • The left hand blade’s poison is harmless physically, instead it ‘tricks’ the nerves of a person’s body to send (fake) signals to the brain that the body has been critically injured. To be specific, it will feel like you’ve been run through or lost a limb. You will only experience the pain where she has landed a strike though. Unlike the right hand’s poison, there is no creeping sensation, it is instantaneous, and will continue to assault the person’s nerves until she has left Bankai.
  • With some focus, she can create ‘Reiatsu Serpents’ from the blades of her weapons. They are much like phantoms, able to pass through walls and other obstacles to reach their target. Their sole purpose is to ‘touch’ or basically fly through the opponent to… well scramble their inside’s basically. They will cause immense damage to the organs of a person.
  • Her blades have a very special trait to them, where they will ‘remember’ opponents they have fought in the past. Basically, they will keep a record of all the opponents previously faced, with everything they learned from the fight to better prepare for any future battles. Simply put, these blades will always remember, and attack your weak points.


Special Accessories: Hirimi doesn’t actually carry that much with her other than her Zanpakutou. You could call her a little old fashioned.

  • Photographic Memory(well, except when it comes to maps! She has issues with maps…)
  • Keen Eyesight(Basically, she can pick up on the smallest of changes and no detail is too small for her to see.)
  • Medical background(She did spend all her beginning years in 4th after all! She is a fair hand when it comes to caring for another’s injuries.)
  • 13-string Koto(Hey, she had to spend her time doing something! Why not learn to play an instrument?)

Biography/History: Hirimi doesn't remember much before she came to Soul Society, but she was killed at a very young age in an earthquake. She spent a time with an adopted family in Soul Society, until it was finally discovered that she had the capability of entering the Shinigami Academy. Spending three years in the place, she entered 4th squad as soon as she graduated… Probably due to her nearly dying of fright every time you scared her. She spent many years with the squad, growing with each passing day.

After some time, she was promoted to Vice-Captain after the previous one became Captain. It was there that she learned many skills like the higher level Chiyudou, Shunpo, and even Bankai. After a time though, Hirimi gave up her seat to the current third seat to… Well soul search is the best word. The woman spent months off on her own with no destination. Finally though, she has returned to Soul Society...

Shikai Training

~Thread where Hirimi achieved Shikai was deleted, so I apologize if you wanted to read how she achieved Shikai. I shall continue to search and hope it was just moved somewhere else.~

Bankai Training

6/1/09
Hirimi blinked, suddenly not to sure about all of this. Though she had to do it. If she wanted to learn how to enter Bankai she had to do this. She took a deep breath.
"Alright, got it. Knowing Ha No Dokuhebi it's going to more like Cruel and Unusual Punishment..."

She drew her Zanpakuto from it's sheath, tossing the sheath to the side so it wouldn't get in the way, and spun her Zanpakuto in hand. Another deep breath later she stepped forward and thrust her Zanpakuto into the Soul doll. For a split second nothing happened, then suddenly the soul doll transformed into a long, elegant snake known as Ha No Dokuhebi, or just Hebi for short.

Ha No Dokuhebi glanced here and there, taking in the surroundings of the desert, before turning her gaze to Hirimi.
'Why a desert...?'
Hirimi flushed slightly, suddenly remembering that Hebi did not like deserts one bit.
"I... I don't know...."
'I see... Well, I guess it can't be helped.'

Hebi eyed Hirimi for a moment, before lunging out with no warning whatsoever. With a yelp, Hirimi leaped back, though wasn't able to get out of the way, Hebi knew all of Hirimi's tricks. They were partners after all. Hirimi started at the small pair of puncture wounds on her arm, before turning her suspisious gaze to Hebi.
"Why did you do that-!!"

Hirimi gritted her teeth together, suddenly feeling the surge of pain coming from her arm. Her gaze shot to the wound, a bite that shallow wouldn't cause such immense pain! Unless... Hirimi's gaze quickly returned to Hebi, who already knew Hirimi had caught on.
'It's my new poison. It causes your body to send false signals to your mind. Very disorienting.'

Hebi glanced out of the corner of her large eyes to stare at Captain Envy for a moment, before returning them to Hirimi.
'The rules are simple. I have the antidote right here,'
She lifted her tail to show a chain dangling from it with a vial at the end.
'Your job is to get it from me in a friendly game of Cat and mouse.... though in our case it would be snake and mouse. You have no weapons but your body, and no time limit. And so... it begins!'

Hebi lunged out, her fangs spread wide and Hirimi ran for it, narrowly missing another strike from Hebi. She grimances at another surge of pain, but tried to ignore it. She couldn't let it distract her. She hated how they were in such an open area, she couldn't avoid the much larger Hebi very easily, though that was when her size did come in handy, she was a smaller target. Another lunge from Hebi made Hirimi leap back, holding her left arm from the pain. She'd really pity anyone else who had to deal with this poison, it hurt like hell, like losing a limb.

Hirimi rolled to the side, narrowly missing Hebi's next strike, though Hebi turned and chased after her, much like she did in whip form. With a wince that was quickly replaced by a stubborn expression she leaped forward, planting her palms on Hebi's head between her eyes and flipped over, going straight to get the antidote. She was not going to waste any more time. THough Hebi seemed to have other plans. She merely twisted over, rolling onto her back then back onto her stomache, taking Hirimi with her. Hirimi lay on the ground for a moment, very annoyed.
"What's with everyone squashing me?!"

Hirimi heard a snicker from Hebi at her outburst, then the sound of Hebi lunging forward. Her expression suddenly became paniced and she rolled out of the way, Hebi's jaws snapping so close she could feel the air from it. Jumping to her feet, Hirimi quickly put some distance between herself and Hebi, trying to device a plan, and still ignore the pain. She felt like the limb was actually cut off, going numb, but every time she looked down and it and tried to move her fingers they would actually react. it was one of the oddest sensations she'd ever experience.

Suddenly, Hirimi had an idea and grinned, deciding the Hebi deserved her own sort of 'punishment'. Hebi tilted her eye to the side but shook it off after a moment. She knew Hirimi was clever, but Hebi knew all of Hirimi's tricks, she couldn't surprise her. Hirimi bolted forward at top speed with out entering Shunpo. As Hirimi thought she would, Hebi lunged out, and Hirimi leaped over the attack, and Hebi turned to follow.

Several other lunges and dodges later, Hirimi let like passing out, the pain still throbbing her left arm though much weaker then before, while Hebi glared at the girl. Somehow Hirimi had tricked the snack into quite literally become a pretzil. Hirimi swung the antidote around one of her fingers while gazing at Hebi.
"Does this mean I win?"
Hebi almost seemed to scowl, though it was a very strang expression for a snake to make, finally she gave a 'hmph'.
'Yes you win. How is your arm feeling?'

Hirimi blinked, surprised by the question and gazed at her left arm. Suddenly realization hit.
"What the...! When did it...?"
Hebi chuckled and seemed to smile.
'We're partners. You didn't think it would affect you for long. You had to build up an immunity to my poison.'
Something suddenly dawned on Hirimi and she scowled, looking very unhappy.
"You mean I technically didn't have to get this?!"
Hebi nodded and Hirimi let out a groan.
"All that wasted energy... for nothing..... You're so evil!"

Hebi opened her jaws in what seemed to be a grin.
'No, your just dense. But you're still my Hirimi. I wouldn't have it any other way.'
Hebi curled up around Hirimi, quite literally squashing her once again, though this time Hirimi didn't seem to mind to much. Finally Hebi released the girl and nodded to Envy. Hirimi, very confused, glanced from Hebi to her captain, then back to Hebi, then once more to the Captain.
