Pstt, you don't have to read this, because its a bunch of just in case you wanna know hooplah. Though, it explain most aspects of the school so I don't have to answer the same question 100000000 times.
Dear Genius Academy student,
______I would like to personally welcome you to our school. You and your unique ability have gotten you into one of the best schools of the nation. At our school, we have two goals. We want to supply our kids with top quality education about anything and everything they need to succeed in life. Then secondly – and most importantly – to teach our children how to control their powers and develop them into means that they can live with. Doesn’t that sound wonderful? Well, you my dear have been accepted into this boarding school where you can feel accepted and be able to grow.
______We also have a certain program that makes our school unique. Every year we have certain battles and competitions to become a Genius Legend. The Genius Legends are heroes at the school. They get special privileges! You can become a genius legend by defeating all the other genius legends. At the moment, there are 7 Legends. We’re looking for the 8th genius legend. Genius Legends are important to our school because it shows that those students have mastered there powers. You are strongly encouraged to strive to become one.
______At our school, you will have eight classes. Four classes every day and it will run on an A day B day schedule. Four of your classes will be academic classes (the normal subjects ~ math, science, language arts, and history). Then the other four are your electives. During your high school career, you are required to have one credit in foreign languages, one credit in fine arts, two credits in physical education, and eight credits in power related classes. You will always be taking one class specified for power control and development. You will get a list of classes along with your schedule in this letter. Your schedule is decided based on the classes you took previous years. If you have a problem with any of your classes and want your scheduled changed go to the main office and we will work it out. We also have a wonderful college program. It is new and does not have very many classes yet. If you want to add a course talk to the administrators and we can see what we can do. You will get a list of these classes when you are a senior in high school picking your college class.
______Room and Board is fully covered and does not cost you a cent. Your room comes with a dresser, a bed, a small TV, and a desk. You are allowed to bring whatever furniture you want or paint your room whenever. You are required to paint your room back to its old color when leaving and take all your access furniture with you. You cannot harm or take the furniture we provided with you when you leave. Your room has its own bathroom, closet, and main living facility. It’s a medium sized room but should be big enough to be assessable to you.
______We also provide you with food for no charge. You must get lunch with your student card that has a picture ID on it. There are numerous snack machines throughout the school that cost cash. Some stuff in the line cost a little extra. We also proved you school supplies for a small price in the school store right next to the main office. It has school supplies, first aid, and school spirit items, and other things you may need. We encourage all of our students to have a few school spirit items since it goes to found our school. Because we provide you with so many things for free, we encourage your parents to donate or buy something at our annual events. We have a silent art auction every year and at parents day adults can donate in the front office.

 You are required to read each and every rule fully. Believe it or not, they’re not the quite same blah blah you read when you join every other roleplay. Each rule is jam-packed with information.
You must follow all of ’School of Dedicated Roleplayers’ rules and all of GaiaOnline’s rules. If you do not know them, read up.
ElaineeNicolee is the big boss, what she says goes. Shauna_Marie, and Drakie Cakie are mods. We know what’s best for the roleplay and we’re all pretty fair. If you have any complaint, concern, or comment, don’t be afraid to contact us. Were here just as much to serve you as to keep you in line.
You must post once a week, or post in the OOC Chat explaining why you cannot. If you never check in, you will be banned.
Regarding profiles, there are no specific rules on pictures. Elaine prefers real life though. She also reads every part of the profiles, and if she sees the need for change she will tell you. She wants them to be detailed, and well put-together. If they are not well put-together, she honestly cannot see herself accepting you.
PM profiles to ElaineeNicolee, under the title, ‘I’m going to be the 8th Genius Legend‘. If you’re sending a Legend profile, I want it to be ‘I’m the __ Genius Legend’ with the blank being the Legend Number your character is from the list.
There are 2 different types of characters you can submit. There are regular students, which are either college level or high school level. These students’ power levels range from advanced to beginner. There are also Genius Legends; there can only be 8 of those. Yes, there are preset profiles, but feel free to change anything you want about these. Basically, you are making a brand-new character; these are not presets. They only have that right now to prevent possible gaps in the RP. These characters must be masters in their power, and most are college age. Though, they can be younger if you wish. Please, do not take on more characters than you can handle. Start with one character, then as you think you can handle more you’re allowed to. There is a limit of 5, but we suggest 2-3.
This is a literate roleplay, and I expect no less. We write in the Third Person Limited format only, in past tense. You should only have 1 character per post. If you mix dialogue from other characters, make it obvious. We should know to whom you are writing for at all times. We have a minimum post length of two paragraphs (12 lines, and 16 sentences at least), with an average range between 3-6. Upon messaging Elaine, there can be exceptions on that rule, but no less than 1 paragraph (At least 6 lines, And 8 sentences). There is no set limit of a post length that is too long, although you do know when your post becomes ridiculous. There is an automatic 1-line ban, and a serious warning for 2-3 liners. Oh, by the way. Actually, I want profiles sent to me as ‘I’m a Genius’ for students and ‘I’m a legend, # __’ for Genius Legends. The blank means the same as I previously stated.
Our roleplay has a strong base on improving roleplayers and the roleplay, and it has been that way for a while. We strongly encourage you to post your best, and put effort into everything you post. If you are not confident with your writing, we can work with you to improve your writing. Currently, our main focus is on character development and descriptions. There may be times where Elaine or another mod critiques your writing. If you do not wish for help, tell us. If you want to help critique others, feel free to. Please note that this is ‘critique’, not ‘humiliate’, ‘harass’, ‘belittle’, or anything malicious. A critique is saying something good and something that can be improved upon. Don’t just rag on someone if you don’t think their writing is up to par. That’s not cool. Don’t be a douche. Be helpful.
With that said, we are strict about the rule of respect. Since this is an environment where we can critique each other, your critiques cannot be personal to the writer. If you aren’t getting along with them, you must still remain respectful at all times. We shouldn’t ever know that you are not getting along with someone, and if it gets in the way of the RP, Elaine Nicole reserves the right to address the problem in whatever means necessary.
Romance is not our main point, and it never will be. It is permitted, and even encouraged, if your character roleplays with other characters other than their ‘significant other’. These romances should include a series of fun and drama, and no, you are not allowed to be in a relationship on the first day of your roleplay. Also, drama please! Now, this drama must follow logic and cannot be random. I.E, the shy kid isn’t going to randomly run up to someone and cuss them out. No random plot twist; follow the plot. You can create a plot twist, but it must make sense. That also ties in with God Modding; there is no making your character perfect in any way. Elaine will call you out, and you’ll get a serious warning.
You must use the ‘OOC Chat’ for conversation. If you need to tell someone to check the OOC, announce something important, or make a side note that’s important to your post you may do so in (( )), [[ ]], or {{ }}. I think you get the point. You need to check the OOC Chat often; Elaine posts most of her announcements in there. They’re typically in the dark red color. The Arena: The only place where the students are actually allowed to fight. Even though many illegal battles take place throughout the school. The arena has many different terrains, including: Renegade Meadow, The Ring of Fire, Blizzard Field, Aquatic Haven, and more.
The Classes: The classes include Biology, Advanced Power Control, U.S History, Algebra I-IV, English I-IV, Physical Education, etc. There are also college classes to for all of the college subjects. Those are set up just like an college classroom. You must be in the college courses to attend these classes. College students can attend all normal high school power related classes, but not the other subjects.
The Event Hall: The event hall is where the students gather for special events such as Award Ceremonies, Assemblies and Talent Shows.
The Sports Field: This is where various sports are played, obviously. The sports include, Football, Lacrosse, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Swimming, Track, and Tennis. Just like the Arena, this also has many different terrains.
Training Area: This is where fighters master their skills. There are many different corridors inside of the Training Arena. The Weight Room, The Battle Simulation Room, The Paintball Battle Room.
Swimming House: This is where students are allowed to swim as well as practice their water skills. Complete with a Jacuzzi!
Cafeteria: A place where students are allowed to eat and socialize from the hours of 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Computer lab: This is where students can use school computers to work on reports and other related things. The whole school has wifi though, so you won’t need to come here very often.
Legend Lounge: Area where the Legends hang out. It comes with a huge flat screen TV, a ton of video games, a coffee machine, etc. It’s pretty much a pretty radd place to hang out.
Teachers Lounge: Self-explanatory. You’re not allowed there.
Boys/Girls Locker rooms: Where people change for gym or use if their restrooms go haywire (it’s happened).
The Stream: This is where the bad Troupe chillaxes. Therefore, you can’t go there! It’s around the area of shrubs, tree, and other miscellaneous wildlife.

Want your character to become a Genius Legend? There are two ways that your character can become a Genius Legend. 1.) The long way – Prove your overall control over your powers and your ability to use them. You can prove this by competing in school competitions or going through test. 2.) Defeating all of the Legends that are currently living in the school. These battles must be legal battles in the arena. You obviously cannot become a Legend this way ales 3 legends are currently living at the school.
There is only one Genius Legend needed to be filled. If you wanna change something you can.
1st Legend: Seiko: Seiko was the first Legend at the school. His power was telekinesis. Whenever someone looked into his eyes, he could control them completely. Some say that he learned to control others without eye contact, but that hasn't been proven. He rarely uses his ability, except when he has to. He is currently attending Snider University in London, a college for students with Powers. (No one can roleplay him, because he doesn't go here! However, if you wanna roleplay him and can come up with some awesome reason for coming back to Genius, go ahead!)
2nd Legend: Jex: Has extraordinary strength and speed. His signature move is Perfect Zero. He jumps high into the air with his opponent at hand. He spins around at light speed as he and his opponent fall to the ground. At the last second, he hurls the opponent into the ground, practically crushing their skull. (Needs someone to RP him)
3rd Legend: Harman: The darker Genesis Legend. Harman keeps to himself, but can be quite the tough opponent. He has the power to create dark portals and summon black fire. His signature move is Sunset Flames. He shoots black fire into the air and makes it rain down on the opponent. Harman is not affected by the fire. (Roleplayed by: xC o l o r M e G r e yx )
4th Legend: Meredith: The friendly, yet feisty legend. Her weapon is a single white rose. She is the only person in the entire school who can actually get Seiko to open up. Meredith's signature move is Pedal Dance. Meredith throws the rose at her opponent and each pedal separates and becomes as hard as steel. (Roleplayed by: elaineenicolee)
5th Legend: Brianne: Harman's sister and Meredith's rival. Just like her brother, Brianne keeps to herself most of the time. But in rare cases, she can really throw down, making her one of the more powerful legends. Brianne's power is the same as her brother's, she can create dark portals and control black fire. Her signature move is still a mystery. (Roleplayed by: shauna_marie)
6th Legend: Erik: Seiko's best friend and his most loyal subject. Before he realized his true potential, Erik was Seiko's lackey. But Seiko saw great potential within Seiko and now after 2 years, he is now as strong as Seiko himself. Erik can control Water and Ice. His signature move is Ice Edge. He uses his ice sword to freeze his opponent and make the ice around them break, causing the opponent to be stabbed by thousands of pieces of ice. He is now attending Snider University along with Seiko. (same thing as Seiko)
7th Legend: Christopher: The youngest legend and the most recent to be added. After just a few months of school, Christopher has defeated the other 6 legends and has made quite a reputation. And he seems like a normal kid. He likes to play, jump around and make jokes. Christopher has the ability to control and manipulate electricity. (Roleplayed by: iMental Cupcake )
