It really all depends, for me at least, on the anime and which company is dubbing the show. Like, 4Kids dubs usually sound awful and they censor a little too much for my taste. I like School Rumble better in Japanese too and after the Sailor Stars arc of Sailor Moon was dubbed, I switched over to the subbed version of the show. I can go either way with Bleach and Samurai Champloo because both versions are good to me. But other shows like Rurouni Kenshin and Inuyasha I prefer to watch in dub.

yes, it depends on the voice actors too, i would rather watch D.N. angels in subbed rather than have to listen to that annoying American chicks voice in english ><

Really depends. I started watching dragon ball z a LONG time ago dubbed, I've seen it now subbed and I dont like it because i am so used to the dubbed. bleach came pretty close to the voices, I like it either way. death note i like either way.

NARUTO=SUBBED jebus this is the worse dubbed i have ever seen >.>

Edit: Advent children subbed

i actually started to watch Megaman in dubbed, the voice actors are too dull and fake. So i ended up watching it in German xD plus the german introduction to megaman is like techno raver music xD

It always depends. Most dubs by funimation have voice actors that don't match the characters. Do Not Watch D.Gray-Man In English Dub. They completely mess up Kandas voice. My Personal preference overall is the subbed versions though

well it depends on which anime it might be, i mean for the most common animes (naruto, bleach, fma, death note, trigun...etc.)

i prefer subbed for half of my animes now, but i also like being able 2 watch the show for just the show as a dubbed so this way i dont have to read and maybe miss something? it goes both ways, good and bad.

and its a big thing about who they voice actors are.

Depends. Subbed or dubbed it really doesn't matter. In all other cases some of the dubbed are kind of crappy and have really weird voice but some of them are really good, but I perfer subbed.

I like the subbed ones.
Because I really hate the dubbed ones.
In this dubbed anime, there is a little school girl and she sounds like an adult that smoked too much. I just gets on my nerves.

I actually prefer subbed most of the time... I mean if it's eastern-type anime, why not watch it in it's original context? biggrin Plus, I'm just a fan of Japan. wink

I agree. A lot of the dubbed anime voices to quite match the characters and in some anime I have watched it kind of changes things. When you watch anime subbed, you learn a lot more and it's just better. biggrin
