Have any of you guys heard the (now seemingly official) rumors about a new 2009 Kamen Rider series beyond Decade and Chou Den-O; Kamen Rider W(or also could be pronounced "Zwei")?  Here's a tad bit of info from Dukemon22 over at tokuinsider.blogspot.com... Quote: dukemon22 certified rumor: -W has an insect motif, most likely a grasshopper. He resembles Kikaider, in the sense that his right and left sides are differently colored. His right side is red, and his left side is green. Each side has a different character/personality. -W is transformed from 2 people, who combine to form the rider. Their names are Shotarou and Phillip -W’s henshin device is a USB which is inserted into his belt to transform him. Has a gimmick known as the “Treasure Gaost” which allows him to change forms. -Has the ability to change forms. These forms are activated by the “Joker Memories”. USB keys that activate different forms. 3 of these forms are known as “Luna Joker”, “Cyclone Joker” and “Heat Joker”. -Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker is Black and Green in coloring. -W transforms into Heat Joker in the Decade Movie. -W has a both a motorcycle and a car. -W aims to be the “Number 1 Rider” of the Second Half of Hesei Riders. -Seems to have a relation to ShadowMoon. When Decade is cornered by him in the movie, W shows up to save him -Keywords having to do with W are “Wind”, “2 People” and “Clan” -Broadcasting is rumored to start on 9/6 -8/15 to 8/23 have been listed as filming dates for the show -His enemies are much closer to the sentai variety- a group of villains that stay a constant from the beginning of the series

no offense, dukemon is my man 50 grand and all..... but his rumors get closer and closer to the truth when it's closer to the premier.... i dunno if this is really the storyline.... so i'll wait till about say, october or november to see if it's true or not....
i dunno if i'm with barom 1-styled henshins for the heisei era......
and shotarou and "philip?" eh....... confused

USB? really? lol i call bullshit on this.
especially since "Zwei's" illustrated picture has a similar mouthpiece to kuuga's
but then again it's just rumors for now

I don't know if fusing 2 people into one rider will work out to be very popular. Though using an entirely new medium to henshin like a usb should prove interesting. It would kinda make sense for DCD to have all his cards on a memory card to put in the K-Touch. Like a normal phone.

The suit actually looks kind of cool to me. Not amazing, but it isn't making me go "Why is this ugly?" like the past few years of outfits(which I later grew on.) The best part is that it looks like he has a scarf or at least something like it in one of the shots. The worst part is the belt, it just looks so ugly to me. I like that its trying to form a W but they could have made it look a bit better.

i think he looks pretty cool, but the USB and the fusion concept still irks me just as much as the whole design of Decade and Diend lol

the show has a really old school style to it and the concept of all the characters are interesting
the only thing that i thought looked pretty stupid was his double rider kick where he split in half

DrunkenStyle finally saw the first episode. it's actually not bad!!! and finally, a rider that ISN'T red. lol the show has a really old school style to it and the concept of all the characters are interesting the only thing that i thought looked pretty stupid was his double rider kick where he split in half it didn't even look like a kick >:I What exactly did his kick look like, lol?

I like the half-half thing a bit more after seeing it in action. I like how each form can be done differently, its not just CycloneJoker, HeatMetal and LunarTrigger but can be mix-matched and the abilities mainly seem to be for each side since Lunar didn't allow Joker's half to stretch-armstrong too.
The kick seems to be more a dropkick than a normal kick. Though it didn't look like they tried to put a lot of effort into it being a dropkick and relied more on the visual effects to sell it. Them splitting in half to do the kick was kind of interesting to me though. I wasn't expecting it and it makes it try to come across as a kick more than a dropkick as it starts as.
All in all I can't wait to see Double. I wish Decade didn't have to end so soon for it but this series looks worth watching.

I'm actually liking this series! A lot more than Decade. It's gotten really interesting. It's funny how I hated it so much from first impression.

W has some good points to it but I'm a bit offset by it too. A lot of the attempts at humor feel too much like the parts of Go-onger/Magiranger which turned me off the series and ruined what could have been a decent show. It's turned anyone I watch Tokusatsu with off of watching Kamen Rider with me until the next series too, which isn't a very good thing to do when other series got them to watch these series with me.
