I recently attended a gathering in towns that gradually evolved into something of a ball at one of the Chess Castle areas. I was curious to know how many of you would support the idea of having a formal ball in towns? Dress up all nice and pretty in froofy costumes. Socialize like royalty, you know? The works!
What say you all to this?

It's an interesting idea, but... I dunno about the Towns aspect of it.

It's too bad you can't password a specific area of towns and lock it. What about someone's house instead?

If you don't mind spending random money, then you could set up a mule with a house and friendlist everyone who wishes to attend, and then set your house to friends only.
Towns/zOMG! meets are problematic just because people need to be online at the same time in order to interact. Forum-based events are a bit more care-free in that regard.

I would love to but i agree with Meri, forums are easier, but then again, who says we can't do both? Also, it is pretty expensive...

Okay, I know it's been several months since I suggested this, but...I'm ready to announce the specific date.
The 24th of July, which would be Friday of this week.~ Please let me know if I need to change the date to accommodate anyone etc.
I hope you all can make it. n.n
Edit: Upon realizing that Saturday is a free-day for outings and what not....I've decided to change it to Friday. My apologies for the short notice'ness. If folks can't make it, we can always reschedule
