Ico’s paws softly kissed the ocean’s cold water as the waves rolled in and out with the tide, her dull gaze narrowed and relaxed. It was sundown and the wind was cool against her neck as she turned and smiled softly to herself, the night was so lovely- so kind to her.
It was a shame she had no one to share this with…

He still hadn't found out who he was. Was he this one person who he had been traveling down from the mountain pass? Or was he something else? He killed him because he didn't know what path to follow. Something was missing, he just knew it.
Being in these lands helped a lot, but there still was a void. He walked to the ocean, wanting to gaze at the stars as the salt water washed his thoughts away.
Though it looked like tonight he would be sharing the stars with another.

Ico's gaze turned slightly as she spotted another and smiled softly, speaking out as kindly as one could. Her tone was sweet, but not in a fake way.
"Hello."
She couldn't help but feel excited, she hated being alone.

His golden eyes gazed towards the female. She seemed to glow like the moon against the ocean's small waves. He walked over to her, sitting just at the edge where the water caressed his fur ever so slightly.
"Hello," he greeted.
"What are you doing out here all alone," though he was one to ask, as he was alone as well.

"I'm just enjoying the evening."
Ico nodded slowly and snickered to herself. She must have looked like a loser or something. Her head tilted to the side as she eyed the bright male, speaking out to him softly.
"Care to sit with me?"
It never hurt to ask, right?

"Enjoying the evening..." he repeated softly, he too should enjoy the darkening sky plagued with bright star, rather than trying to figure out his past.
"Sure," he said, moving next to her.
"My name is Quidytch, new to these lands. What may I call you?" he introduced himself.

"My name is Ico."
She smiled and ruffles her ears some, eyeing him as he moved to sit beside her. Her paws lay one on top of the other as she gazed back at the sea.
"How long have you been here for? I am new here, somewhat. So, I am sorry if I don't know your name just yet."
She thought maybe he was born here? Who knew.

"Well then, it's nice to meet you Ico.
"...I have been here for a few weeks now. I have been going to different areas of the pride to meet others, as well as just knowing my surroundings. Something about the water brought me to these lands.
"What about you? How long have you been here? What brought you to these lands?" He asked.

"My family split up, so I came here to make my own life, find my own home- place."
She spoke out in all truths. Ico never lied when someone asked her a question, she felt no need to hide anything. Her dull eyes narrowed as she nodded at his words.
"So you have been here for about the same time I have, neat."
She was happy to meet someone new like her. Really.

At her words, his ears drooped ever so slightly. It was never a good thing when a family split up, especially depending on the age of their children. He could only assume Ico here was an adult at the time of the split, so it would'nt have affected her much?
"I am sure if you plan on staying here would make a nice place to make a new home," Quidytch nodded. "From what I can tell, it's perfect."
At his last words, he stood up, gazing towards teh sky as he moved more into the rolling water. "Care to join me for a night swim?"

"A swim?" Ico smiled softly.
She was happy he asked! Ico had learned that the water wasn't here to harm her- that before, when she had gotten swept away in the waves, it wasn't the ocean that had tried to hurt her. After her meeting with the white and golden male she had felt better about this subject, and now... really loved the ocean.
"I'd love to take a swim." She nodded and stood up, her white and black coat shimmering against the moon's light.

He was happy the female joined him. It was always lonely going for a swim by oneself, he was glad that Ico had agreed.
"What brought you to come to these lands specifically?" He questioned, wading deeper into the slow moving waves. His toes sifted in the sands, feeling around for any treasures that the ocean had to offer. When his paw hit something hard, he blinked, holding his breath as he dunked under the water, pulling out a small sea shell. "Well, look at this," he held up the shell to the moon, allowing it to reflect across the night light.

"I needed to find my own place, my family split up, and well, I wanted away from it."
She nodded softly and swam up beside him as he rolled up and out of the water. Ico snickered as water dripped off of his maw.
"A sea shell? How pretty! Did it cut you?"
She asked, he had stepped on it after all.

Quidytch inspected his paw. "No...I don't think so?" He would feel the salt stinging a wound if he had. "I just bumped into it, and was curious of what it was."
Grabbing some nearby seaweed that was floating by, he wrapped the seashell in a way that it dangled like a charm from a necklace. He placed it around his neck, so he wouldn't lose it later.
As soon as the male was shoulder-deep into the water, he stopped going further. He took amount to gaze into the sightless water, before a smirk rose to his maw and he tried splashing a paw towards Ico.

She giggled at him as splashed at her, her eyes shutting as if to try and keep the water out of her eyes. She swam up to him and batted at his mane, pushing him back a little as she lowered her maw into the water, taking in some water before lifting up and spitting it at him, laughing until her sides ached.
"Haha, you are covered in water, my friend!"
