Personality: Satori can be called somewhat of a pushover. This is simply because of his previous life, that has remained with him even though his memories have not. He is willing to help almost anyone that asks, even going so far as to take his own time or anything he has around him and using it in order to help someone. This does not, however, make him naive. He doesn't truly trust anyone, yet still feels it is his job to help people. Though, there is one definite personality trait that can be considered a flaw. Satori is somewhat bipolar, in the sense that he can switch from one mood to another quite quickly with very little reason. Satori is known to be nice one moment, and then the next day acts like all he wishes to do is rip someone apart simply to see what their insides look like if they say a word to him.
Appearance: Satori is, like his build implies, somewhat lazy though still small. He has some strength due to training in martial arts as a human and speed from the same, but other than that he is tall but lanky. Most of his weight is in his legs, allowing him a decent amount of speed. Satori likes to wear the normal shinigami robes, though below them he wears a jet black gi reminiscent to the kind martial artists wear.
Zanpaktou
Spirit: Satori's spirit can be found flitting about in it's inner world, never staying on one place for more than a few seconds before disappearing again. Ichihendo is very passionate and heated, sometimes to an extreme. This is reflected in it's appearance, that of a ferret made purely of light blue energy.
Inner world: To even more augment it's personality, Ichihendo's inner world is a large lake with trees coming from below the water. Always at the dead of night with a full moon overhead and fog coming in at random times, the place is quite mysterious.
Sealed: Satori's zanpaktou is like any traditional katana, except for a few...additions. instead of a cloth wrapped tightly around the handle, a silk-like cloth is wrapped around, easily seen to be loose in places. There are gears instead of a guard, three to be exact, one on top of another, each getting smaller as it heads toward the blade. There is also a gear attached to the end of the hilt. Another addition is the trigger-like appendage on the edge of the beginning of the blade, going over top of the gears to touch the hilt. The blade is slightly curved, jet black with a silver edge.

Translation: Fluctuating One
Description: When called out, the blade begins to dissipate into reiatsu, turning a deep scarlet color and collecting at the base of the hilt. Quickly extending, it turns into a blade-like appendage, able to extend and be swung around like a whip, since it is made of Satori's reiatsu. The longest it can extend is about five meters. The power of the zanpaktou is the ability of manipulation of it's form, meaning it can be made to look like a hammer, a scythe, a pitchfork, any weapon Satori thinks of. As long as the weapon does not exceed five meters long, it can be formed and manipulated. Though the real power lies with the blade itself, Satori is able to turn his reiatsu into small blades, needles, and other small weapons to be manipulated.

Bio: Only remembering the time he spent in Rukongai and not his human life, Satori has always known that he wanted to help people. Be it random souls through rukongai, or even the animals he would sometimes find. Satori learned early on that he had an affinity for reiatsu, being able to sense it in people even though they themselves could not. Thinking that he could help people better as a shinigami, Satori decided to enter the academy, excelling in swordsmanship and reiatsu control. However, he hated the blade even though he was able to use it quite well. He wanted to use his power to protect people, not use it to mindlessly slay. So, he hid his power with the blade, focusing on his reiatsu control and graduating the academy in the middle of his class. It was his turn to finally make a difference.
