Books on Puberty and Related Issues
Title: "Reviving Ophelia: Saving the Lives of Adolescent Girls" Author: Mary Pipher, PhD. Comments: A re-published book about adolescence in girls, and why so many girls are falling prey to depression, eating disorders, and suicide attempts at an alarming rate. Very in-depth and personal, and definitely worth a read. I read it recently, and as much as it scared me to read what some teenagers let themselves fall prey to, it is a VERY good book.
