A rare moment of peace...and Na'ima enjoyed it, just relaxing in her (for once) empty den and taking in the wonderful sound of silence. Beautiful silence...that didn't last nearly long enough. A yelp caught her attention, and she was on her paws, eyes wide. That had been Kismet. What had her budding warrior done to himself this time?

Kismet growled at the bug he was stalking, eyes narrowed in frustration. Blasted thing kept flying off! Wiggling his bum as he readied himself to pounce, he suddenly yelped and twisted around to see what had bit him. A bird glared at him...or rather through him. It wanted the bug, and he was in the way.

Bebenya moved about his brother, having left his mother to see what his siblings were doing. As of now, he was being quite and watched quietly as his brother, Kismet, pounced on a bug. Both of them had been so wrapped up in the insect that when Kismet yelped, Bebenya nearly jumped from the noise. He thought the bug had hurt him and wondered if it would kill his brother! When he saw Kismet turn around to see a bird, Bebenya moved to his brother’s side, or more correctly, moved behind his brother, and looked over at the bird. “Just let it have the bug. It could eat your tail if you don’t.” He said, remembered some cubs talking about birds who ate other animals and how they could pick up a cub and fly away, or so they said.
