Dunno how well-known this band is, but I love them. Even if I've only just heard a handful of their songs, I think they had a great style. They disbanded in 2000, due to the death of a member. So sad... Thanks for the video. I used to have a few songs by Raphael, but when my computer crashed a couple months ago... crying . I can't believe that I forgot about them since. I started to like them at the same time that I started liking Lareine, Blam Honey, SADS, and Penicillin. I think that's about right. I wen't through an obsession with those five bands for like a month straight. Definitely some good times.

Their stuff is so difficult to find, it drives me crazy D:
I had the song "Sakura" by them for a while now, but it was tough to find anything else because the name "Raphael" is common... so I get slammed with a bunch of useless stuff.
(Oh, that reminds me... a thread needs to be made for Lareine)

Raphael is one of my favorite visual bands! I wasn't a huge fan back in the late 90s, though. Their visuals scared me! I only really went back and listened to them when I started listening to Rice a few months ago. I still think Raphael's visuals were scary ( sweatdrop ), but the music is excellent and I'm addicted to Yuki's voice.
Does anyone listen to Rice? I noticed no one mentioned them; the only two official band members are Yuki and Hiro (vocals and drums of Raphael). The music isn't as hard rock, the lyrical styles are really different, and they're not really "visual," but everyone should really check into them! They're great and quickly became one of my favorite bands, too. biggrin
I was going to upload a couple of songs, but then I realized that that's probably against the TOS. I don't want to be banned from Gaia. sweatdrop
