Lairi's past:
She was an angel of great beauty, but by no means the most beautiful. She was a guardian of a royal family, mainly the widow Queen. the queen had many children but her youngest was of a similar age to the angel and as she(and he grew) she fell deeply in love with him. She became resentful that she was not able to speak with him, or even allow him to see her. One day she could stand it no longer and whispered in his ear to go the gardens while he was sleeping. he awoke and went there not knowing why seeing a maiden like no other he had seen. They talked till he fainted from lack of sleep, and she brought him back to his bed. She watched him sleep, her heart filled with love and longing. When he awoke she hid herself again, and continued to guard his family from harm as was the will of heaven. She would meet him like before every month, and her heart soon could not stand just these meetings and longed to be at his side truly. She debated this for sometime within herself, knowing that she would be punished for disobeying her orders... but for Love, heaven would understand she hoped? One day she sat in his room thinking when she heard a horse leaving at great haste from the castle, she wondered what it could be, but gave it little thought. A few weeks passed and then she noticed that the was much commotion around the castle. She heard mentions of a great celebration, but nothing more. She wondered, there where no birthdays or festivals approaching why the celebration? She soon found out when a carriage arrived with many horses escorting it. Out stepped a enchanting princess and her parents, for she was to be wed to the youngest prince. The angel was heartbroken, as she watched the prince run out and kiss her hand with such joy. His heart was bursting with love for the princess, and her professed that she was even more beautiful that the "girl of his dreams." The angel knew he spoke of her, and sobbed rage and envy building in her heart. The angel watched as they were married, and the kingdom celebrated for over two weeks! Her heart turning cold and angry. She first waited for the princess's parents to return to their home, following them causing the horses to run off a cliff plunging them to their death. She then returned to her beloved prince, and tears running down her face she plunged a knife into his chest. The princess awoke to see him dead and covered in blood, screaming at her loss. The angel left the princess to her pain wondering into the forest before collapsing in her insanity and heartbreak.
Punishment: cannot speak to others only through showing kindness and protection to someone can she communicate to them. other females get a great sense of uneasiness around her and find it near impossible to trust her, while males trust her without reason(unless their punishemtn prevents them from this), but should she do anything to break that she feels as though she has been stabbed, and should this happen more than 3 times she will die as if someone has stabbed her in the heart. should she be able to make true friends and earn the trust of others(unknown how much or how long this needs to be) she will be free of her punishment. Only her guardian is a exception?
