im thinking of getting an epiphone les paul (i know i spelt that wrong =/ ) , wat do u guys think? i was also thinking a sg but i dont wanna go to far

Hmmm, personally Im a SG fan, but my boyfriend just got the epiphone goth les paul, and he loves it. Go for it. smile
If you play a lot, and you really want the SG get the SG. I mean, I wouldn't tell you to go get a 9 k guitar if its your first, but this isn't QUITE like that. LOL rofl

yea i think i will get it, all i hav now is a strat, and its not very good at solos and stuff so yea i think i will get it, thank u

naaaaah the strat has its place in solo's just look at malmsteen, but still i perfer fender's action to gibsons

Hey Xig, gotta question for you. I was on a guitar site and looking up amps, right? I saw that it said Fender was in the top six amp brands. The only fender amp i've ever had was sqeally and screechy, if those are even words. smile Do you know of a QUALITY fender amp? I know this is off topic, but you brought up fender, so its your fault really. rofl

o fender's amp line is legendary almost equaling marshal, but in a different style of music.
Fender's amps themselfs were used mostly by bluesy players, SRV used some old Fenders and he dont sound to bad dont he lol
mine i rlly havent gotten to rlly play because the power chord is broken and i rlly do need to play it soon so the tubes dont wear out but idk wat the trouble is, and now that i think of it it may be such a simple fix lol.
though i do know that mom had her 62 Super Reverb apraised and the guy offered her 3k for it straight up.
There collecter's items and wonderfull amps for a clean tone but i havent tryed them distorted so eh
