I'd say just straight up Noctis- he has the most diversity in his attack and he can freaking teleport- but i don't know confused Sephiroth is pretty devestating

Hmmm.. excluding Final Fantasy Advent Children/FF7. I personally think Sephiroth would win, cus he's soooo cool and stuffs. And I haven't played FF8 yet so I wouldn't know how could Squall is - sorry crying

Auron sneaks in and pwns them all
I dunno~ I've never played VIII, and I haven't seen enough of Noctis to make a decision about him. I'd love to see a Cloud/Noctis fight though, since they both have multiple swords.

I don't think you can really judge Noct yet... Especially since I read that he's not able to do all that fancy stuff the whole game (though I don't know if it's true).
I'm going with Sephiroth, definitely. I mean, especially counting Advent Children. I don't think Cloud ever really beat him in it. If you pay attention, Sephy just looks like he's messing around the whole time. He doesn't get hurt; he's not even breathing hard. He wasn't trying to kill Cloud there; he was just trying to screw with his head, and when he saw that he couldn't, that Cloud wasn't going to break down or give up, he let him win. I mean, look at him when he disappears. Does he look like he just lost a fight? Credit to Kaize for coming up with that; I just subscribe to his theory.
Yeah, I sort of just disregarded Squall there. Well... in all honesty, I don't think he ever got really magnificently strong. GFs are great, and Recover would be a definite advantage, but... well, Sephiroth manages to "recover" from practically the dead, so...

If Auron and Sephiroth got in a battle, it would be hella' epic save for the fact that the Masamune would shatter on impact with the other Masamune.
