I have always heard of loving couples talking about how great love is. Something like an emotion of ecstasy, extreme happiness and satisfaction. If that's how love feels like then I have never been in love. Only sexually attracted.
Is my assumption right?

Mostly, this is caused by the fear of falling or being in love, where as the person (you) tell himself that it'll cause only pain if you're in love, therefore you get afraid of the feeling itself. It's like creating a barrier around yourself.
Also, it can be that you've never been in love, but it's not like you HAVE to have been in love before you reach a certain age (or something of the like). Also, being in love and actual loving is different. To me, being in love IS being sexually attracted to someone.
Only when you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, then you can say you love someone. This doesn't mean that love shouldn't have sex involved. The sexual part (eros) is something that strengthens the bond.

I doubt you are incapable of feeling, but you just haven't felt it yet. Sexual attraction....it's a start, but what attracts you to these people? Cute a** or something? I say don't get involved unless you are interested in a long term relationship that isn't only about sex. It's very limiting, but it's a sure fire way to find out what love is. And your assumption on how love feels is right, yet wrong. I feel dierently and i would rather not describe it on a forum.

Neh. There is a distinct difference between love and lust. The way I see it you can have love without lust (for example you love your parents) and it is the same vice versa. Lust is just that, there is realy no attraction except that of a sexual nature. Love on the otherhand can be and is a compleatly different ball game. Personally I believe that there are different degrees of love, per say. Take for example me and my fience: When we got togeather, her and my idea of love were vastly different. She fealt that she could spend the rest of her life with me and be totally happy. Not so with me. I realy was indifferent to her love, and yes, it sounds cold. It took time and patience on both our parts to come to a final understanding. Now I would do anything for her (and sometimes do). One thing that we have come to understanfd, is that nothng can come between us, most of all sex. We both know that sex is just that, it is not required for us to love each other, but it's more of...say...a perk of the relationship. Anyhow, it's not hopeless. I was much the same way and didn't realy have any feelings for anyone beyond sex. It took time, but I grew and matured and now I'm in a relationship where true love abounds.

well right now you are just wanting the sexual part. some ppl are different. dont compare yourself to others cause some are more mature than other or older and have got passed the sexual part. take your time. youll grow out of it.

The only catch to love is when the person you're with decides they don't like you anymore, but to make it easier for themself, they have their friend tell you for them, and then they get a new boyfriend the next day.

My favorite person in the WHOLE world, Gabriel (Jade for those of you who know him), has never loved. I think he secretly might be in love with my cousin, Pilas, but I can't exactly confirm those suspicions since both of them are in England right now. But anyways, just because you don't think you've ever loved or don't think you can, doesn't mean you can't or will never love. Don't lose hope honey! You'll find it where you least expect it. 3nodding
