(Setting: Generic beach setting, nice sand, clear water. No-one else besides Vivian and Chris are at the beach currently, yet. The waves are low, a gentle tide.)
Vivian cruised the shore line gazing out toward the gentle sea. it was a nice, hot day. She felt bad though, dust had been cooped up in his pokeyball all day, since she hadn't gotten a chance to leave her chamber and let him out, and with no one else around... the time was right, she threw the ball effortlessly, letting out the massive beast on the soft sand, and catching the pokeyball again.
Oh , freedom! Was the first thing the poor Gyarados had thought of when he touched that warm sand. He gave his trainer a look of dis-approval, and then quickly slithered into the water, splashing her purposely.
Vivian smiled as Gyarados left his ball, but her smile quickly turned into a high pitched squeal as the salty water splashed her new sun dress. She frowned and quickly stripped down into her bathing suit, leaving behind her Dress, PokeTech ,Shoes , and parasol. She dived into the waves, chasing her Companion into the deep blue sea.

Groaning, Chris pulled the Rocket issued uniform hat from his head running a gloved hand through his hair, ruffling the raspberry colored mohawk. Glancing down at the squirtle by his side he quirked an eyebrow. "Can't you do something useful, like... I dont know, send out a spray of mist? It's too damn hot."
The squirtle in question gave his trainer a pointed look, pausing a beat before taking in a large breath of air making Chris quickly step back, hands held out in the universal sign for peace. "Sorry, sorry, no need to spray me," grinning Chris dropped his hat on top of Cales head. "C'mon, I promised a visit to the beach after that last mission, yeah?" Chris' grin widened as Cale perked up at that, bending to squash the hat further on Cales head affectionatly.
The two had, for the last month, been on an inside mission at the islands research labs. Chris' out going and friendly personality easily able to infiltrate the labs allowing an easy escape for the two, a small bag of pokemon filled pokeballs in tow.
Cale practically ran towards the water, kicking up sand behind him. Chris, for his part, couldnt shuck the heavy black Rocket uniform off fast enough, stripping down to a white tee and swim trunks.
Eye skimming over the rather empty beach he smirked at the unguarded pile of poketech and clothes nearby, mind already formulating a plan for relieveing the owner of their tech.
Chris smiled at the sound of Cale splashing around, jogging towards the waters edge, stripping his shirt off before diving after him. Grabbing onto Cales shell Chris laughed as Cale pulled him swiftly further out to sea.

Dust swam deep below his trainer, then swiftly came to the surface, causing huge waves upward and letting out a mighty roar. He splashed Vivian and hid under the waves again, if anyone didn't know any better, they could mistake him for a raging Gyarados, instead of a playful one. He swam down again, this time slithing into the arches of the reef, blending in almost perfectly. Vivian could never find him here.
(for the sake of time, i'm going back to black. xD) Vivian giggled in surprise as dust splashed her again, and dove down to follow him, she knew her companion to well however, cause the first place she checked was the reef, with a sudden yank, she pulled on Dust's tail and swam back to the surface, this time making a break for shore.

Cale drifted along the waters surface, Chris' arms draped across his shell as they both watched the gyarados and it's trainer. In Chris' case in amusment, while Cale was tensed tight as a bow string below him ready at any moment to go on the offensive should this pokemon come too close to his trainer.
Nudging Cales underbelly with a knee to to get the squirtles attention he motioned towards the shore. "Shall we greet our beach mates?" Chris' smile widened at the internal debate obviously going through Cales head and he thought for a moment the squirtle would out-right refuse before Cale slowly swam back, Chris trailing after.
Cale shook himself dry once they reached the shore, showering Chris with sea water. Sticking close to his trainer as Chris neared the only other person at the beach, almost causing Chris to trip a few times.
Giving a disarming smile, Chris held out a hand to the girl in introduction, "Names Chris, nice Gyarados you've got there."

As Vivian reached out for the hand up ahead, she felt a yank and then she felt herself flying through the air, and then landing on Dust's back. She clinged for dear life and crawled her way up the scaly back until she reached his head, towering over the other trainer. She yelled down. "Your gonna have to pardon dust... He's a bit paranoid!"
Dust snorted and glared at the smaller pokeymon and trainer, his docile nature was swiftly converting itself into what he is on the inside, a raging beast. One false move by these shrimps , and they'd get the bad end of a hyper beam.

Within seconds Cale was in front of Chris, on all fours and tail raised high, cheeks already slightly bloated with a half prepaired attack. Eyes without fear of the Gyarados before him and daring the giant worm to even try. He was a Rocket through and through.
Chris simply grinned, arms crossed across his chest "So long as you pardon my own." Glancing down at Cale for a moment he turned his attention back to the two before him, giving a one sholdered shrug. "How about a battle?"
Cale gave his own agreement with a curt nod, eyes still locked on the gyarados.

Vivian smirked, Dust knew the answer to the question before she even parted her lips, he allowed her to slide down his back, stopping only when Dust raised his fin. She slid off his side and stood next to him. "Ready, bud?" Dust let out a roar to the skies, scaring off a few pidgeys roosting in the nearby palms.
Dust looked completely different now, his eyes were no longer the spheres of kindness they once were before, they were harsh, cruel, bloodthirsty even, he hadn't battled since Vivian had challenged that one girl in the school yard, but that was oh so long ago... Dust could barely recall it, either way, he was ready.
"Well then, Chris. I guess my partner is ready, I suppose we can begin." She stood confident with her arms crossed, she stood proper, she stood straight, not hunching in the slightest bit, her legs perfectly straight, no bends in her knees. She wasn't the type to get excited during a battle.

((500HP each. Random number 1-5. 1=miss(or a dodged attack for the poke being ttacked), even number=100HP damage, odd number=50HP damage.))
Chris took his time, walking back to their belongings, pulling his Rocket uniform back on. Walking back towards Cale he placed the hat atop his head, grin going from good natured to near sadistic. "So nice to see a good sport. Shall we begin? Cale! Withdraw, then Rapid spin!"
Cales eyes were bright in excitment. They didnt get the chance to battle often, Rocket headquarters prefering to keep them both undercover with their talents rather than rely on their brute force and Cale had been itching for a battle.
Charging at Dust, kicking up sand behind him, he withdrew quickly into his shell, spinning rapidly towards the gyarados, slamming hard into the other pokemons chest.

Vivian frowned slightly at the uniform , she shot dust a look and nodded. He shook off the blow , rearing himself upward and letting out another roar.
"Dust, use Water Pulse!"
Dust's jaws opened , letting out the pulsing attack, impacting Cale squarely in the center of the chest.
"That's my boy, Dust. We have this." Vivian smirked, she knew the longer this battle went on, the more likely it was that Dust's rage would come out, and it'd be a wrap for Chris and his companion.

Cale gripped the sand hard as water pulsed over him, the streamlineing of his shell taking off some of the pressure but still he tumbled back a few steps, eyes closed tight.
Frowning lightly Chris pulled his hat further down, shadowing his eyes. "Cale! Return attack with bite!"
Shaking himself, Cale rushed back towards Dust, snapping down hard only to get a mouthful of the gyarados fin, doing little damage.
Chris cursed silently, making a mental note to himself to request more battle missions.

Dust recoiled and pulled his fin away from Cale, grunting slightly at the pest. Vivian didn't hesitate to take advantage of the situation.
"Now, dust, Nail 'em with dragon pulse!"
Dust opened his gaping jaws and a small purple sphere appeared, which shot forth, hitting Cale on the back of the shell, doing some damage, but not quite what Vivian had hoped for. Atleast we have the upper hand for now...

Chris was quick this time, at the first sign of Dusts attack yelling out to Cale. "Cale, withdraw quickly!"
Not questioning the order Cale immediatly withdrew into his shell, which took the brunt of Dusts attack.
"Now, follow up with water gun!"
Staying tucked within the protection of his shell Cale spewed a jet of water from the shells opening, sliding back slightly from the force of it, hitting Dust dead on.

Dust recoiled, trying to move his face from the blinding jet of water. Vivian lost her composure and focused herself on the situation.
"Dust, listen clearly, escape the water jet and use bite!"
Dust shook his head and moved, sending his serpent-like body flying toward cale. As his massive body landed in his new location, he moved quickly and wrapped his jaws around cale, giving him a quick shake before letting go.
"Nice work, dust." She said as she regained composure. "Now gain some space between the enemy dust, your too close!"
Dust did as instructed, with only one mistake, he turned his back to Cale and Chris.

"Stay withdrawn Cale!" Chris instructed, watching helplessly as Cale was lifted in Dusts giant jaws before finally being released.
Skidding a few feet, thankful for the beaches sand to pad his landing, Cale withdrew from his shell. Without waiting for an order he charged Dust before the gyarados could move further away. Jaws clamping tightly around Dusts back, beak-like mouth digging harshly into Dusts scales. Giving his head a shake before releasing his grip, landing in a puff of sand.
Chris nodded his approval, uneffected by Cales apparent uninstructed attack.

Dust roared in anger as he was bit and released, so angry he was, that he turned the upper half of his body toward lace and dived again, locking his jaws once again around the smaller pokemon, shaking him , and then tossing him aside, he then continued his retreat, this time making sure he was keeping an eye on Cale and Chris.
Vivian looked frustrated, it wasn't like dust to act upon emotion, perhaps Dust needs more training, was her first tough.
